Griswold Southwest takes excellent care of my mother and has been doing so for over 2 years now. Caretakers are professional , compassionate, and responsible, doing a very difficult job with grace. Janet is my mom's own particular angel, but all their caretakers are well-trained. On the rare occasions when there are problems, the front office steps in, making sure a fill-in caretaker is available when needed, solving all problems and helping to adjust and clearly communicate caretaker duties as my mother's health fails. They also work well in coordinating care with mom's nursing home. They were recommended to me and I recommend this Griswold branch to anyone. My gratitude is endless.

We have worked with Griswold for 5 or 6 years. . Taiye has been my husbands caregiver for several of those years. He has Parkinsons and is no longer able to care for himself. When she is with him, I know I dont have to worry about anything. Its obvious she cares about him as she cares for him. I have said many times, if there were a way to clone her the world would be a better place. She makes the journey we are going through right now so much easier.

This year has brought about many challenges. One that I was faced with was finding care for my aging mom as the pandemic brought a level of isolation we could not have anticipated. My brother and I were so glad to have found Griswold Home Care. As the caregiver for my mom, Deborah has done an excellent job with a difficult situation. So glad to have her there for my mom!

These Folks are great! My parents use them and sing their praises time and time again when I ask how they are doing. I have actually contacted James with some of my own questions and he was able to satisfy my concerns. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate Griswold: especially Miss Linda, who was our main caregiver. She immediately became part of our family and even accepted our invitation to Christmas dinner--we wanted her to be our guest, but she wound up helping a lot. The other caregiver who gained our love and respect was Hortencia. She was only with my dad for a couple of hours on two nights, the latter being the night he died. When her shift was up that night, she chose to stay on her own time and be with me and my sister as our father breathed his last. She stayed until the hospice nurse came to pronounce him at midnight. God bless her! She and Linda both knew exactly what to do about Daddys physical needs and exactly what to do about our emotional needs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Griswold!

My husband is disabled and requires help with activities of daily living. We recently had occasion to travel to Houston for a long weekend to visit family. Griswold provided an outstanding caregiver, Sophie, who stayed with us throughout our visit. She not only provided the care my husband needed, but she was very personable with extended family members. Sophie also assisted us with transportation around Houston and it made our stay so easy. This agency, being nationwide, has assisted us in other locations as well. Highly recommend them. 5 stars

I cant recommend Griswold Home Care in Houston enough. Jim, Janie and Marjorie as office staff have been very attentive and caring, communication is top notch. They are on top of things and handle in advance instead of reacting! The caregivers especially, Mmayan, and Miriam, are top notch. They really care. They were responsible for caring for our parents who both have dementia while at their home. The care they gave my dad in his last months until he past and after was extraordinary! Now still taking care of mom, who still wonders were dad is, they handle with compassion and caring. They also give great suggestions for things we would never think of. All the other caregivers have been very good as well. Go with Griswold and you will not be disappointed!

I used Griswold Home care of Houston for several years to provide caregivers for my mother who suffered from a massive stroke. Jim and his staff did an excellent job providing quality caregivers for the 24 hour care my mom needed. We had some unique needs with scheduling and they worked with us very well. Whenever we had a problem the staff was attentive to our needs. I definitely would recommend them to others!

My family had excellent service from Griswold, helping my father come home from a skilled nursing facilty. The initial phone contacts and emails were very informative. Then I was impressed that the manager, Marjorie Champenoy, and the caretaker, Alex, actually came out to the skilled nursing home to meet w- us before we were scheduled to bring my father home. The nursing home provided training both to us, the family, as well as the caretaker, although he did not need it. We had a tremendous caretaker in Alex, all one could hope for and more, meaning that in addition to caring for my father, he also regularly did light cleaning and chores around the house, AND was able to help my mother with her internet and her new iPhone. He also did a lot of safety things right away, like immediately washing my Fathers clothes after coming home from the nursing home. Many little things that matter a lot to an elderly couple. My father really likes him. We selected this particular caretaker at the personal advice of Margorie, who thought this person was best for our needs. Throughout the process, which is still continuing after 4 months, Margorie stayed in touch with the children, like me, who live out of town, and provided some useful advice and needed flexibility. I understand this is new management. In any case I can highly recommend this firm.

I could not recommend Griswold Home care more highly! Because of Griswold, my sweet uncle Detlef, who has Alzheimers, was able to stay in his home for as long as possible. My family stumbled upon Griswold via an internet search and consider ourselves amazingly lucky. The regional director, Jim Vonderhaar and his wife Janine, made us feel as if meeting the needs of my uncle was their top priority. And it really was! Jim, Janine, and all of the caregivers that worked closely with Detlef treated him with the upmost compassion and respect. Everyone was incredibly accessible and communicative. Jim himself called often just to check on us and ask if there was anything that he could do personally to help make a very difficult period easier on us all. We truly felt like an extension of their family. I could go on and on about them!
