My mother has been a resident at Brookdale Memorial City for many years, and her time there has been nothing short of wonderful. She thoroughly enjoys the social aspect of living there, especially gathering with friends in the dining room and attending the various social events offered. The music events, in particular, are her favorite and always bring her so much joy. The well-planned calendars of activities and events keep her engaged and entertained, and she looks forward to each day's activities. It's great to know that she can also conveniently get her hair and nails done right on-site, adding to her overall sense of well-being and happiness. The staff at Brookdale Memorial City deserve special recognition for their exceptional care and kindness. If you are looking for an independent living in Houston for senior, you NEED to check out Brookdale Memorial City. The facility is well maintained with wonderful staffs taking well care of seniors. I'm amazed how they even have a groceries store, two hair salons and pharmacy inside. Highly highly recommend Brookdale Memorial City for anyone who wants to looking for a safe, secure and nice independent senior living.

The management & staff are awesome - friendly, conscientious, respectful & are good listeners, eager to make changes to make our life here better. Although it’s a large facility, it has a very strong feeling of community. Additionally, even though we are in the middle of a very busy part of town, Brookdale Memorial City is a wonderfully quiet, peaceful & serene place to live. I am very happy here & am looking forward to staying many years.

Brookdale Memorial City is a secret gem in the heart of Memorial City! I am impressed with the care and concern of the staff for the residents and the many services available to the residents, (both non-medical and even medial). There is a courtyard for every interest including swimming, gardening, gold, Koi pond, etc. And it even has it's own pharmacy and convenient store IN the community. Who knew! But my favorite part is how the residents are truly friends with one another. What a great place!

I've lived at Brookdale Facilities nationwide for 15 years now. . . . . . There were a few bumps in road due to growing pains. however, I'm still here with them, I became a part of the solution and not part of the problem . . . . . . A great place to make new friends and have new experiences. I highly recommend them, being a "Widow," I do not feel so, so, so alone! Thanks Brookdale!

I don't work for this place but I work for one of the residents. I would say SOME of the waiters are rude and seems as though they don't want to work. I said excuse me to only be ignored purposely. When I addressed it with the assistant director it was brushed off. My client was not waited on properly. We was the first ones to be seated and the last to get service she was even served cold spinach. By me being ignored by the waitress I had to go to the assistant director and she brought her out hot spinach. you all need to work on proper manners with the staff. It's plain disgusting and disrespectful.

Brookdale Memorial City has been the home for my father for several years. Their staff is compassionate and professional . Thru Covid 19, Freezes, Hurricanes they communicate and take care of their residences. I highly recommend this facility to all that are looking for a senior residence. Jan Kaiser and Angel Seigart are the managers and are the best in the business.

One of my friends mothers lives here. Ive been pretty impressed with what Ive seen. The staff is friendly. Location is perfect. I know that my friends mother is quite active and she likes that there is all day dining and shes never worried about missing out on the food.

My mother has been at this location almost 5 years, and her mother was there before that. Brookdale Memorial City (BMC) is more like living in an apartment complex vs a hotel. My mother is pool side. Its fantastic. They offer a lot of activites, entertainment and good food. Most of the residents cant drive, therefore depend on family to take them to doctor appointments. Some residents dont have people they can depend on, and depending on location of the appointment, the shuttle may not be able to take them. For the convenience of everyone involved, it would be so nice if every six months or so, they schedule mobile medical services (eye doctors, dentists, etc.) to the complex.

I visited Brookdale Memorial City a few days ago and am very glad I did. The community is lovely and open, yet felt very secure. My tour guide was Ofelia who every resident we encountered seemed to know (and adore). I was there during lunch and the dinning rooms were busy and humming with conversation. We joined a "new residents" lunch held in a private dinning room. Here Ofelia checked in with new residents and made sure they were getting oriented to their new home and had everything they needed. Potential new residents were also invited to the lunch so they could speak to current residents and "check it out". We all had a great time and I was struck by how fun and comfortable everyone seemed to be. If you are looking for a great senior community, this is definitely one to consider.

I moved in a little less than a year ago. I really like it here. The location is best. The movie theatre and mall is right next door. The hospital is close. You have every store within minutes that you could possibly want. I am happy with everyone that works here. The shuttle is great. The activities are great. Someone is here 24/7 and that gives me peace if mind.
