My grandma was having a hard time at home alone and we made the decision to move her into Brookdale . She was hesitant at first but all of the staff made her feel right at home making it easier for her to make friends and adjust. We wish we wouldn't have waited this long!

Outstanding service. They took care of my Dad who was admitted for heart failure. They were able to rehabilitate my Dad until he was discharged with a bill of good health. Rehabilitation, physical therapy, and Doctors/Nurses made it all happen. I highly recommend Brookdale Galleria for anyone looking for care and treatment for their loved one.

My family and I want to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to everyone at Brookdale . The care provided to my husband was nothing short of top notch. The nursing staff was wonderful, caring, and very attentive and always had a smile on their face. The business office was great too, they provided several options and resources. Their nurses worked side-by-side to make sure the care my husband received was the very best. I can only say wonderful things about this facility – it was always very clean and well maintained inside and out, the food was good, they offered nice activities and the outside areas were always a welcomed and beautiful place to spend time. We highly recommend Brookdale Galleria; we are so grateful for them and the amazing care they offered..

George Koch - From the time I entered and was admitted by Ken, Brookdales admissions representative, I knew my family had made the proper selection for a skilled nursing facility. I was not disappointed. The PT and OT staff did an excellent job preparing me to return home to my apartment where I live independently. The nursing staff made my stay very comfortable. The pacemaker surgery required that I wear a sling getting in and out of bed. The medical doctors did an excellent job. My cardiologist stated they were recommending appropriate medication. Although I did not participate in many activities, other patients expressed they were enjoyable. There was a variety of choices for meal selection. The social worker did a great job coordinating my return home. I would definitely recommend anyone needing skilled nursing and rehab very seriously consider Brookdale at Galleria.

I lived there for four years. I loved it my situation changed and I moved to Brookdale in Austin one week ago also very nice. However I miss my Friends , but I will make more. Hopefully someone will write me some times keep in contact!!

Last year we chose Brookdale Galleria after my moms hip surgery for rehab because of their therapy departments excellent reputation. Best.decision.ever. My mom received great care from everybody there: nurses, therapy, and all the way up to the executive director. She is scheduled for another surgery, and we know we want my mom to go back to Brookdale if she will need inpatient rehab again.

I am a senior care professional who visits senior care communities daily during my course of business activity. I have visited Brookdale Galleria on several occasions for the past several years. I continue to be impressed with the charming can-do attitude of the associates at the community. The residents themselves also make every visit enjoyable with a welcoming spirit and happy attitude. I really enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the entire environment. I must confess that I routinely encounter newer establishments that just do not measure up to the level of achievement demonstrated by this superb retirement community. I believe this genuine caring attitude begins at the top echelons of leadership in the building and caries down to all within including residents and associates. I am eager to continue to spread the good word regarding Brookdale Galleria

awesome, exceptional experience moving my Mom into this facility. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and had a smile on their face. The team was more than willing to go the extra mile to make my Moms new apartment feel like home. My Mom walked in and immediately said it felt like home and was very comfortable. I noticed that the reviews of the Brookdale Galleria have either 1 or 5 stars and I think it totally depends on the part of this property you are reviewing. My mother recently moved into the independent portion of the property and it has a been a wonderful and positive experience for her. The staff is very interested in its residents and they have lots of activities planned for them. The food is really good and even the rest of the family enjoys eating here with our mother. It is very clean and the elevators all work regularly unlike other Brookdale properties where she has lived. Christina has been a joy to work with and has worked really hard to make my moms transition to this property easy and stress free. I really cant think of anything they could have done better to welcome her and she loves her bright and spacious apartment!On the other hand, my dad lived in the rehab side of this property when he was alive after one of his hospital stays and I have to agree with the comments relating to that side of the business. It was a really bad experience for our family and our dad and judging from the reviews, not a lot has been done to address those issues. I would have given that part of the experience only one star as well. I dont know where the disconnect comes between the two sides of the same facility, but maybe it has to do with if you dont need care, all goes well and when you do need care, the quality of people they are able to hire is lacking or the quantity is not enough.

My Dad started out in the skilled nursing facility. He was there for 1 month and received great care and was able to move to assisted living. We had a great experience moving in and arranging his room with the help of Brookdales staff. There is always something going on and my 95 year old father is enjoying himself.

From our first visit, to moving Mom in, to helping her with this huge transition, we could feel the positive energy and warmth of everyone at Brookdale Galleria. The staff is friendly, helpful and kind. Many have been there over 20 years - which speaks to the culture of their team.Mom is excited to introduce me to her new friends and neighbors, and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. My stay at Brookdale was fantastic. I went in with so much excruciating pain after spinal surgery. The facility was first class accommodations and the staff was friendly and caring from the moment I was wheeled in.The nurses wsre so kind and compassionate along with rapid response and professionalism. The therapist staff was professional and encouraging. Even housekeeping was friendly.The food was great and well prepared I was able to even fill out my own menue.I was hugged Farwell and escorted out pain free by several nurses and staff. I would highly recommend Brookdale to anyone rehabbing or for any of their family members for loving care.

My dad was at Brookdale for a little over a week after suffering two heart attacks. He needed therapy before he could return home. Everyone at Brookdale was very attentive, kind, and took care of everything my dad needed very quickly. He was sharing a bathroom with another man and there had been a mess made in the bathroom. I went to the nurse station immediately after it happened and they were already sending someone to clean it up before I asked. The facility was always extremely clean and my dad also thought the food was very good. It was a great experience and we are all very appreciative for his wonderful care.

I am very thankful for the staff at Brookdale Galleria for taking care of my Mom during her stay. The staff was very helpful and provided the guidance I needed for the next stage of my moms care. The staff truly cares about the patients, residents and it showed. This has been by far the best experience I have had at a Skilled Nursing Facility and I appreciate the patience showed to my mom during her stay. I would like to say a special thanks to Mrs. Green (Social Service Director), Mrs. Tahesha (Admissions), and Mrs. Halemia (My Moms Nurse). My endless questions have been answered for months by both of these women without hesitation, always polite, professional and positive. I cannot say enough good things about them. Shwanda Green, Director of Social Services has been most helpful to us every time my mother has been admitted for rehab. She goes above and beyond to help us. Also, Claudia Crawford, Director of Nursing went above and beyond in coming to the facility late at night to help with my mothers CPAP machine- not only once, but twice. These are two of the helpful staff at Brookdale, which offers great rehab services.

Our mother has resided at the Galleria for years. Of course, there will be bumps in the road in any type of community living situation. However, our familys experience has been that the staff in their Independent Living has always gone above and beyond to meet her wants and needs; especially Maurice and Tracy.

Our family member who is a resident in Independent Living has really settled into her apartment. There are many scheduled activities throughout the week; and exceptional, caring staff in all departments. Recently we had to utilize the Skilled Nursing Unit after a hospital visit. Again - wonderful staff who helped our family member gain strength before returning to her own apartment. This facility caters to all aspects of a residents health - physical, mental and emotional; as well as providing support to resident families. I highly recommend Brookdale Galleria.
