Both my in-laws spent time at Brookdale Galleria and while it's not always pleasant from a personal standpoint, we knew they were safe and cared for. All their friends from the old neighborhood lived there. Now that both are gone I need to thank everyone who helped take care of my Father in Law in the end. He was happy and well taken care of. You hear horror stories about facilities. We did not experience any of this. He had lots of love and attention. I understand he was a floor favorite! It was touching for US to be the ones consoling the staff the night it happened. That shows how much the care was true and honest…not just a job. For that we are grateful.

My husband and I really enjoyed the Autumn Brunch and the tour that was given by Damira. We were extremely pleased with the size of the apartments and all of the amenities that are offered. Brookdale Galleria is our top choice.

Everyone at Brookdale is friendly and helpful. Especially Tracy Ahrens. We did a fashion show at Brookdale with some of the residents. Tracy went above and beyond with the residence as well as the execution of the event. Hope to be able to work with Brookdale and Tracy again in the future.

I took a tour at Brookdale Galleria today. The facility is lovely, with gracious dining area (table cloths, napkins & flowers.) The staff are friendly and obviously committed to the wellbeing of their residents. Darcy Rodriguez is very knowledgeable and personable in providing information about the facility. I appreciated the valet service and was welcomed by everyone at Brookdale. I will definitely consider this facility for Senior Independent Living.

If we could give six stars or more we would. The reception Darcy and her coworkers only gave us all the information we needed. They were patient and knowledgeable in our tours. I lived here years back in a recovery process before going home. This is definitely first class first rate facility. That's the main reason we are now living hare.

I was very impressed with staff,residents, and the facility overall. Everyone was nice and helpful answering any questions or concerns I had. The building is decorated elegantly and very clean. I also like that many different activities are offered to the residents so everyone can participate in events, classes, etc. The community at Brookdale Galeria is very welcoming and friendly. My experience has been great and positive. I can't wait to return when and if help with residents is needed.

It's a nice place and the receptionist at the front was kind. My grandmother stays here for Skilled Nursing. It's an easy process checking yourself and in and out as a visitor. The nurses were nice too. My grandmother says they take care of her as well.

I love Brookdale Galleria… my mother-in-law has been there for a number of years now. HOWEVER… It's annoying to now have to sign in, (though something I can deal with), but it is quite, as in, extremely IRRITATING to have to sign out when my husband and I are leaving. Somehow Brookdale has survived for many years without having people sign out! Why now? The explanation given… "so we'll know if you're in the building is something happens" doesn't really compute. So that's my two cents worth. I hope you will change this added hassle to visiting a resident.

I'm a firm believer that without great leadership and management a team, it's dynamic and It's ability to thrive can be hindered! Our Director of nursing Erica in our skilled nursing facility has always been a team player and an example that is outstanding, consistent and stellar. Everyone of her nurses med techs and CNA's follow her lead and display a work ethic that enables me to be infinitely confident when I am speaking to families that are looking for a great place for their loved ones to continue recovery after a hospital stay. I cannot say enough about our therapists that work with our patients and literally put them back on their feet when they've come in immobile and unable to walk. Giving them encouragement, support and using their expertise to make sure that our patients consistently thrive. There are no words when you see a patient coming in unable to sit up or even feed themselves then several days later doing much more than that due to the structure and supportive environment we provide. Success, compassion, and stability are some of what come to mind when I think of our amazing rehab center and skilled nursing. It is not by any means easy coming into this unit as a patient, families are stressed and emotional rightfully so it becomes our duty and responsibility as a team to breathe life back into our patients and do everything in our power to get them as close to 100% as we can that too is a huge weight to carry but one we all freely chose. Very special shout out to Kaylla, Briana, Cruz, Angel, Gilbert, KUTE and our social worker Courtney and her assistant Abigail. They help families navigate through the process of appeals care plans and other very important needs provided.

We have been so happy at the Brookdale Galleria ! The food is amazing, the staff is warm and kind! The pricing is excellent!! With my mother, who passed in 2023 we had been in two other senior living facilities, so I feel like I'm a good person to compare!! At this stage and most peoples lives, food is pretty important!! The BROOKDALE Galleria has a marvelous brunch on Sundays!! The residents all look forward to it!! The activities Director, also plans, fun and interesting outings!! I feel like my father feels younger, feels better, and is having the time of his life!! He even sang in the talent show!! When the hurricane hit, I called and they had power!! I still offered to go and pick Dad up and he said no, he was fine. He was having a ball. That alone is an excellent sign!!! I give the Brookdale Galleria five stars!!! Finally, when we moved in, they were so accommodating to our requests as we needed a few extra lights and some other things. The whole experience has been amazing!! Kiddos to the welcome committee (Darcy and Damira), Tracy and her assistants for fun parties and outings, Oscar for his care and attention and even the greeters especially Jessica who helped us when Dad had a set back! This place is great!!!! The nurses iare and amazing and on top of their game. The rest of the staff is friendly. I highly recommend. Also a shout out to the chef David. The food is good and they provide you with a weekly menu to choose from. If you have a family member that needs rehab you will be glad you picked this place. Thank you again Brookdale Galleria!!!!!

I went to visit a family friend staying here, and I have to say the facility is very well kept and the staff is very helpful. One of the team members in particular that stood out the most was Debra, Her attitude towards guests was top tier and I felt very welcomed.

My brother lives at Brookdale and we have been very happy there! The staff is wonderful and we love Debbie(Debra) at the front desk! She has been exceptional with my brother whenever he needs help! We have both parents there for assisted living. I read other reviews and understand totally the frustration with many aspects of care. However, there is not a staff anywhere capable of providing for each and every loved one with the illnesses, cognition and health concerns that are associated with a care facility that has the ability to please everybody all the time. I have witnessed with each caregiver and the multiple individuals they have to work with who often times suffer emergencies and immediate needs- sometimes within minutes of one another. I did the job of caring for both of my parents for two years in my home. It was a job I don't think I can handle again. The care they are receiving here has given me so much peace of mind. We've had two emergencies and they were handled very professionally. From the front desk, the office (Oscar and Dimira) to the nurses, caregiver, and staff…I can't say enough. An extremely tough job and they do it with a smile and resilience.

Beautiful and elegant facility and surprisingly affordable. Damira conducted our tour and was an absolute delight! She was personable and friendly while staying business-like the whole time - not an easy feat to pull off. She had knowledgable answers for every question and went out of her way to show us a few extra views and rooms after discerning what my husband and I were looking for in a facility.

My grandmother was admitted here almost 2 years ago in 2023. We were having difficulty finding her somewhere that would not only cater to her dietary restrictions but also had the patience for her feisty attitude. When she first came in she understandably wasn't very comfortable at all but Ms. Doris was such a great help. She offered warm and talkative bedside manner to my grandmother which really helped me trust the staff here. My grandmother can get very moody at times but Ms. Doris is comforting and firm. Which is exactly what a woman like my grandmother needs. Great staff and great environment!

I was a patient at Brookedale Galleria, Houston, Texas, from March 27, 2024 - April 19, 2024. After being at Memorial Herrmann Hospital for 6 days, due to a fall resulting in on a broken femur, broken hip, requiring a hip replacement, I needed physical therapy. The medical staff on the second floor and the physical and occupational therapy staff were all exceptional! Anytime I needed assistance, someone was there to help me! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing therapy. And, the food was excellent!

We are voting with our feet on this one. This five star review pertains to our sales experience as we haven't moved in yet, but we can update with real-world input as we move through the journey. Here is our backstory: My mother is relocating from St. Louis. My wife spent several months visiting facilities prior to us visiting the top candidates with my mother. This facility is unique because both its desirable location and ability to transition residents through all three pillars of care (independent living, assisted, and more hands-on nursing home care). Our staff was flexible and helpful, quarterbacked by Damira Terrell and supported by her Executive Director Spencer and the terrific Director of Facilities, all three of whom rotated in to informally talk through key logistics issues over the course of three visits as we interviewed various facilities. These folks are seasoned, steady, reasonable, and eager to make a deal work without being pushy. They got to the right room and the right package at a cost that is steep but not unreasonable. Mama is worth it. Damira, Spencer, and team ultimately earned our business. Looking forward for what's next. If this property isn't on your radar, consider adding it for consideration. Brookdale Galleria was the right move for our family.
