If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Oxford Glen took the best care of our loved one. He has more psych related issues but that was not a problem for Oxford Glen. They have a close relationship with an outside psych group that they work with and their teamwork really showed when it came to our loved one. Trish, the director of nursing, has great communication, she's very transparent, and you can tell how much she cares for her residents. The facility has fun daily routines to keep the residents entertained, excited, and always looking forward to it. There are 3 different "homes" that all connect to one large room where these activities take place. Each "home" also has an open concept living room with recliners and TV's, along with their own dining room and kitchen. The facility is very clean and the staff their is very welcoming. Oxford Glen cares for their residents and their specific needs. I highly recommend placing your loved one in their care.

I had the chance to revisit Oxford Glen Memory in Grand Prairie, and I have to give them a 5-star rating. From the second I walked into the community, I was greeted by their very pleasant staff. Everyone in the community was very nice and helpful. I can tell the residents are very well cared for from witnessing how the nurse director interacts with them. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. I would also like to give very high praise to the executive director, Wenda Granger. I remember when I first visited the community two years ago. I had the chance to meet her entire management team. When I returned last week, the same friendly and knowledgeable team was still there. This has to say a lot for Ms. Granger. She is a knowledgeable and hard-working leader that everyone looks up to. I work in the industry, and every community should strive to provide the lifestyle and customer service that Oxford Glen Memory in Grand Prairie does. Your loved ones would be lucky to live in such a great place!

My grandmother has been a resident at Oxford Glen for about a year and a half now and we have nothing but good things to say about the care she receives. The staff is very warm and we can tell that they care about the residents’ well being. They frequently plan activities or go on outings and it makes me glad to know they care about their enrichment and not just letting them sit there like some other facilities do. We love Oxford Glen!

If there were more stars, I would give them. My mother received the best care at Oxford Glen. They understand the journey that the entire family is on and helped us along. My mother was not the same person she once was, but the staff treated her with compassion and respect. There are three "homes" for the residents. My mother's "home" was all female. The rooms open up to a large, open concept living room with flatscreen tv and easy chairs. The dining room and kitchen are just like home. Very comfortable and relaxed. Very clean. My mother suffered from depression, but they had her up and dressed every day. When she needed help, the staff were in contact to get her help. They had the answers.

My name is Patty Kahle and I am the hair stylist at Oxford Glen in Grand Prairie. I have in this business for 52 years. I joined the Oxford community just a few months after it opened. I was ask to ckeck out their salon buy the husband of a Lady who used to come to the salon I was working .He had just moved her to Oxford. I was more than impressed by the love and patience that was show to the residents there. My mother had Alzheimers and I really wish that there had been a place like Oxford for her. I know how hard it is to have to relinquish the care of your loved one to someone else but the people here are trained, patient and loving. For these precious people something as simple as getting a hair cut or a style is a normal thing that they remember doing. They will bring me a few ladies at a time and it so neat to see them talk and interact together like old friends. the men dont seam to mind sharing the Barber Shop as long as I call it THE BARBER SHOP What I think really speaks volumes about Oxford Glen is the lack of turnover in the staff. They are selective in who they hire and selective in who they keep. It takes a special person to care for someone with this illness and the staff here makes the effort to find those special people.

1 week after my MIL went into to Oxford Glen, I was truly impressed at just how well she was doing!! She was dressed & walking around, using her walker of course. But she looked amazing, even though she has dementia. The ladies there were so very kind to me, even giving me a vase to put her flowers in. The change I saw in my MiL was amazing in just one weeks time! Joyce actually gets out of bed, gets dressed & goes mingles with the others that are in her unit/area. VERY impressed & job well done for ALL the employees that I met. Ty all!

I am in the banking industry and called twice to try and offer some employee recognition coming out of the COVID pandemic for our healthcare workers. I was trying to connect with activities director. My first call was awesome, who I thought was the admin was pleasant and helpful just joyful. I spoke with the activities director Mauri and we agreed to reconnect the following week. My second call was beyond awesome, the admin was so happy and welcoming, even more engaging than the first time. When I spoke with Mauri I mentioned it to her. Well Mauri, as a a proactive manager decided to allow me to tell the admin herself but to my surprise she was not the admin but the actual facilities director, Wenda. What a testament to customer service when the BOSS mans the phones and sets the example for all. She is a Godly woman and I now know that I must find a way to partner with them to offer even more gratitude and opportunities because they are caring for our dear family members with such care and attention. I have been in the hotel industry for 21 years until COVID and trust me when I say I know a humble customer service advocate when I see one. My journey began with Leila. She spent a lot of time on the phone with me explaining what Oxford has to offer walking me through the process. I then met Trish whose support, knowledge experiences of dementia related behavioral problems followed with her kindness genuine love of what she does, still today, leaves me feeling very confident comfortable about the care that Oxford provides for my Father. Tawana is always very pleasant accommodating. She has always taken the time to make me feel welcomed important. She always knows who my Father is without me having to remind her. Dan who helps care in the evenings has made me feel very a part of my Fathers care. He is simply wonderful. He has called me on several occasions to advise what was going on with my Father and to keep me updated. He seems to care about each person living at Oxford. Each one of these people have become more like my best friends in past few months. I could not imagine my life or my Fathers life with out them. They are the reason he is doing so well now. Each one of them took the time to actually care. They gave him time to find his place at Oxford. I will be eternally grateful. Oxford is very clean on the outside and inside the facility. I have been there during the day and night and there is no difference. It is located in a beautiful area. They do have outside courtyards, which is a huge plus. It is quiet and content. The people who work there seems very happy and content. Thank you.

I cannot express how happy I have been with the Grand Prairie Oxford Glen Facility s care of Sherry. The facility, and especially the staff; are what makes this facility so impressive. The facility is extremely well maintained and comfortable. However, the staff is above and beyond what I have seen at any other long term care facility that I have visited over the years. The staff does everything possible to keep Sherry comfortable and engaged with multiple daily activities. This care extends to those associated with the residents. Oxford Glen kept us involved with our loved ones through special events and with Covid shutting down those activities through Duo video calls and tent or inside visits as they were being allowed by the authorities.

The staff have all been kind & caring, welcoming & helping us transition my father who needed 24/7 care after being hospitalized for seizures. It's a beautiful facility that has 3 small clusters of "homes" with short hallways, a kitchen/living room/dining room area. I, particularly, appreciate the aid/nurse ratio to patient. All in all they are very accommodating and helpful as they assist in guiding you through this difficult stage of life. They are a secure facility, locked down 24/7, taking care to keep their residents secure and safe as the world continues to struggle with COVID. I would highly recommend Oxford Glen.

The staff are available and, and resposive to any personal or medical need of my loved ones. But more than anything else they work to make every resident feel loved and at home!

I just love the way Oxford Glen Grand Prairie works their facility. Each time I visit the residents are doing something. I visited and the residents were actually dancing and eating good food and seemed very engaged and happy. The place is always clean and the staff are always happy and willing to help the residents. I just love the concept they have. In the morning they have exercise and praise and worship the engagement staff are amazing and in the afternoon they have music and games. The residents have three full course meals and snacks. The CNAs keep the residents clean and hug them and treat them like true Family my Moms friend is here and had been here for two years there are no problems ever to report. You can also volunteer there which I like they have a open door policy. Oxford Glen keep being great.

Moved my Mother from a nursing home in another city about 2 1-2 hours away. Kevin and Moury handled this like it was nothing. They were wonderful. Demi, Wenda, Trish, Latasha, Latoya, Stella, TJ, Matina, and so many others I cant remember all their names yet, but They all have such a gift of working with these sweet residents. I cannot tell how much we have been blessed thus far. God has his hand in this place. You always hear that it takes a village to raise a child. So many of theses residents are like children again and this is the village to be. Im just in awe of the love they show and the lengths they go to make Mom and everyone there so comfortable. They treat the families just as special. So many homes seem to take away the dignity of the elderly but these people at Oxford Glen treat them with love and dignity. I Pray they are still here when I am in need of this type of care. I could go on forever but you will only know when you experience it. We have been so blessed. Thank you to everyone at Oxford Glen. I am the Director at Heritage HomeCare and went to the facility to visit a resident. I have been to numerous ALF and memory care facilities through my career and I have never been more impressed with a staff! I was greeted at the door with a smile and escorted to the place I needed to be. I was introduced to staff inside the memory care area and was greeted with high fives and more smiles. Not only is this place clean, the residents were cared for, and the staff was attentive and looked like they truly loved their jobs and had servant hearts. I left feeling so uplifted that good places and good people are still out there!

I cant tell everyone I meet that are either looking for a great facility or are Social Workers who help place patients, that this is more than a great facility, its a home. My Mom is a resident there and the staff is so wonderful, caring, professional and it feels like home and family. I just went through a traumatic time with my husband who was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. He passed away within 4 months of the diagnosis. There was not one member of this awesome staff who did not help cover my time away by giving Mom extra attention and love. I can never repay this organization for all they do for my Mom, every resident there and myself. My Mom loves it there and loves the staff so much.
