My grandmother, Margaret, lived at Mayberry Gardens in Grand Prairie for almost a year. It was an absolutely wonderful experience for her and our entire family. I cannot say enough good things about the care and love she received there. Angela and Emily, her primary house managers, were amazing. They kept us informed about how she was doing any time we weren't able to be there and we never worried that she wouldn't be looked after or loved on. Rhoda and Charles, the most precious aids and caregivers ever, were truly a blessing from the Lord. They love their residents, and their families, and truly had a relationship with my grandmother. They cook their food fresh for every meal. The house is always clean and decorated for any upcoming holiday. They have a beautiful front porch with rocking chairs that many of the residents like to take advantage of on a nice day. Every resident has their own room and bathroom and it truly feels like a home. Thank you to everyone at Mayberry Gardens for the care you gave our Gamom. What you do is a calling and we appreciate each and every person there so much.

We moved my mom to Mayberry Gardens about a year ago from an assisted living she had been in for a few years. The decision to move Mom wasn't easy, but the cost of care necessitated the move. Mayberry Gardens has been a step up in care and compassion by a great degree. Mom loves it and we couldn't be more pleased with her care. The Director, Kim is so understanding and easy to work with and the staff feels like family. I cannot recommend Mayberry Gardens highly enough!

My wife moved into Mayberry Gardens on May 2025. The time she spent there the staff in Building 1 was EXCELLENT. They treated her with respect and took care of all of her needs, maybe not as fast as she wanted, but we did not have any concerns. All of the employees appeared to love what they were doing. I never ate any of the food, but the aromas coming from the kitchen made your mouth water. My wife did try a few meals and she loved everything she tried and several staff members worked with her to try and find something she did want if she wasn't hungry. The resident rooms and common areas were always clean and there were not any odors lingering in the facility. After my wife passed, the true compassion of the employees showed. Everyone on duty came to the room and told her goodbye and several of them shed a few tears. They hugged the family members present like we were old friends. To me, my wife received the best care possible from Mayberry Gardens in Grand Prairie.

What a blessing to have had the Ladies at House 5 of Mayberry Gardens care for my 101 year old Father for the past 8 Months Ms Angela the houses manager was just great ensuring that my father got the care and support he needs. I can’t praise Ms Rhoda enough she was a God sent Angel she treated my father like he was her father. Talking to him making sure he comfortable at all times, Ms Emily always there to give that extra care and support, Ms Keisha words are to few to express my gratitude for all that she did to ensure that Dad had anything and everything that he needed. Mayberry Gardens in Grand Prairie has been my mom's home for the last 3-1/2 years. We lost her last week. She suffered with Altzhiemers/Dementia. We really appreciate the care and comfort that Mom received at Mayberry. It truly became a family for Mom. The staff treated her just like a family member. As Mom's disease progressed, the staff stepped up to meet the additional needs. We can't thank them enough, for always going beyond what we expected. We just want to give a shout out to Emily, Angela, and Keisha!! Mom felt so comfortable with them, and they took such good care of her! My husband, Jerry, has been a resident at Mayberry Gardens in Denton for about a year. The facility has been such a blessing to our family. Nichole, one of the directors, has recommended doctors, hair stylists, transports, and other important necessities. She always treats Jerry with kindness and respect and immediately responds if I have questions. Jerry requires help with most tasks including grooming. The staff has been very helpful to him with his daily routines. He adores Anna, Ivana, Alejandra, Jasmine, Delphi and Lucia. Jerry also appreciates the activities planned by Charlotte, Renee and Roxanne. He finds the speakers, musicians and game days very engaging. We have had a lovely experience in this difficult time. Mayberry Gardens in Grand Prairie provided the care we expected and hoped for. It was a good place, with caring personnel who treated mom like a friend. She had a safe place with good caregivers to manage her last few years of life. I especially appreciate how they work with the family to create a good environment and work to resolve issues when they know things have not worked perfectly. We are so very appreciative of Mayberry Gardens Grand Prairie for being our caregiving partner with mom - as no family should have to do this alone.

Mayberry Gardens is a beautiful place. The layout is so different than other AL. 15 or less residents to a house. They have a central building that not only serves as offices/activity building, but allows families to celebrate their resident loved ones on special occasions. Generally, the staff and their teams are A+ to work with. The owners, Wes and Adrian are so personable. I’ve only dealt with each once or twice, but the approach was very welcoming. Kim, the manager, is great and ensures matters are addressed promptly. She’s quick to respond to concerns. Devin, the onsite boss (not sure of her title) is the bomb. She manages the day to day operation of caregivers for all of the Houses and holds her teams accountable. I can’t say enough about her. My parent resided in House 4. Takedra is the House manager. I applaud her even more. She is on it. She and her team not only care for the residents but build a special bond with them and their families. She pays special attention to detail and will quickly reach out to you when needed. You can reach her or her team at any time. They have a direct House phone which is unique from other ALs. I know this comment is lengthy but I truly can’t say enough. I will say that every AL will have its flaws, but Mayberry-GP have fewer flaws. They are extremely clean!!!! My parent is no longer there, but if the opportunity presented itself, I would put her there again. The one encouragement I give to Mayberry is to have more physical activity for the residents to enjoy within their own building if possible but I still rate them a 5 plus, plus.

I had the opportunity to have my 98-yr old father live at the Mayberry Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Grand Prairie TX. The staff and level of care were exceptional. The facility is well-maintained and each resident's care is valued. The staff went above and beyond to provide consistent specialized care to meet my father's needs. With placing a loved one in any facility; an involved advocate has to take an active participatory role. My communication and relationship with the staff and management made my father's care a positive experience. I would highly recommend this assisted living facility for elderly family members that can no longer live independently!!!

If you’re reading this, then you are likely where we found our selves at the end of 2021. Finding assisted living for our father after a major heart attack was and is a daunting task due to the absolute uncertainty of finding the best place, financially and with the staff that is caring and compassionate. My wife and I must of looked at 20 different places and I’m happy to say Mayberry Gardens is by far THE BEST!!! I cannot say enough about the ownership, management, and staff. We found Mayberry Gardens Assisted living through A Place for Mom website where the advisors were knowledgeable and helpful. I had been searching for a place that would be able to fit my moms needs and we had a lot. This facility checked all the boxes for my family. Friendly, diverse and caring staff. New buildings, simple but safe floor plan, nice wide hallways, no stairs or steps, bright color plan, plenty of natural lights, quiet & established neighborhood, activities director onsite, nutritious meals, assistance with medication, assistance with personal hygiene, & pet friendly. Mayberry Gardens is a good fit for me and my family.

We had a great experience at Mayberry Gardens from start to finish. I very unexpectedly needed a memory care facility for my mother upon a quick hospital discharge and Tam, Wes, and Adrian were friendly, helpful in efficient in explaining and assisting us through the entire process. Tam went above and beyond to contact her hospital case manager to initiate the move. It is difficult to have a family member with a memory care need, but the Mayberry staff eased some of the burden with their assistance. Once there, my mother enjoyed all of the friendly staff, the food, and the facility was always very safe and clean. As she was there during the Covid pandemic, I wasn’t able to visit often due to the safety regulations but the Mayberry staff was very responsive when I called with a concern or request. I would highly recommend the Mayberry Gardens facility to anyone needing a place for a loved one with memory care needs as the staff is compassionate and with the small number of residents in their memory care homes, they are able to provide such quality one on one care.

These caring professionals immediately took action when mom begin acting quiet and less talkative, adamant that something was wrong. And they were spot-on! Their caring, but aggressive actions, and their relay of critical, important information to me and medical staff, directly led to a diagnosis and treatment plan that got mom back up and going in 48 hours! We are so thankful for the staff at Mayberry Gardens Grand Prairie. Placing a loved one in someone else’s care is one of the hardest decisions a family has to make, but Mayberry Gardens has made this transition so much easier.
