This place is sub-par on it's best day. Cheap food, lots of sandwiches, house cleaning is not very often. The big issue is my father was in memory care at a cost of $6,000 per month. He passed away on January 1st 2024 and moved to the funeral home the same day. I filed the paperwork to obtain a partial refund shortly after. In the agreement Courtyards is allowed to charge you for half of a months rate. This is September 5th 2024 and Courtyards has not sent the refund. I think most people just get tired of trying to collect from them and finally gives up. Courtyards will not give out their home office phone number so I may contact them. Very shady operation in my view.

My twin sister (who is a stroke victim) and I are delighted with her to move the Courtyards at Lake Granbury. After having visited several of the retirement homes in our area (and living in three of them), we have FINALLY found a clean, friendly, caring place for her to live. The facilities are first class with wonderful staff -- one at the front desk at all times -- who welcome everyone who visits. The food is very good and each resident's food restrictions are honored. The church services, cleanliness throughout the facility, and activities to keep the residents engaged are first class. We thank everyone there for their care.

Omg so I went up to courtyards in grandbury to visit my grandmother and I just kept getting lost and I had a bunch of problems but the service up there was amazing Lina and Jana were so much help gave clear directions and got me anything I needed

After visiting several options in the area, we decided on the Courtyards at Lake Granbury. From our visit, Eric and his team made us feel very welcome. A big determining factor for us, are the employees at the facility, happy? They were. We have since moved my parents in to their new home, and things went great. Highly recommend Courtyards at Lake Granbury.

Courtyards is a very friendly and caring facility. Ive been a resident for almost 2 years and have referred others to live here because i get good care. all the staff members, (Administration, Kitchen, Med Techs and RAs) are very knowledgeable and caring. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this facility to a person needing this type of care.

Since being a resident, I have gone from walking with a rollator to walking alone in my room and using a cane when going out. I have been treated with kindness and respect. The medical staff has been attentive and knowledgeable. Up until Covid we have had entertainments, activities that kept us active physically, mentally and socially. This was a fortunate move. I have made lasting friendships.

The staff here is very helpful. They always do their best to accommodate the needs of the residents. They always try to make the residents feel as if this is their home. The Activity Director tries to plan activities to keep everyone active and engaged.

Had a rocky experience in the past with the previous director Joanne decided not to place my mom there because of how everything was handled but I decided to try again I had a awesome experience this time the new director Joe is fabulous best decision corporate ever made if your looking for the future and had a terrible experience I highly recommend you give it another go.

The Director (Joanne) at the Courtyards at Lake Granbury turned her back on my brother that was in their memory care unit. Rather than trying to help him, had him involuntarily committed to Wellbridge Hospital without notice to his family. Subsequently he passed away three months later. He was a healthy 63 year old man with no prior problems at the facility, but the chaos that ensued after they kicked him out was too much for him to handle. He simply needed consistency and stability, and that’s what the facility offered him for the three years he was there until they turned their back on him. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!

My Grandma was here at this facility before her health deteriorated to nursing home care. While she was here everyone was so attentive, sweet and genuinely caring of her needs. They have Christmas and Thanksgiving activities that make the residents feel like they are celebrating at "home". All in all I couldn't have found a better place for my Grandma.

My mother is starting to get settled into this community. So far I'am comfortable with her move to this community. I do feel she is safe, and in good hands. From what she has told me, she feels they are under staffed. However the staff they do have is good. They have been kind, and responsive to our concerns. They do a good job with the cleanliness. The meals are fine. There are activities offered. Overall this is a pretty nice community, and I would recommend it.

They do not offer an abundance of activities. The food is great and the staff are attentive and responsive to my inquiries. It has been a good experience. I would recommend this community. My brother has settled in nicely and seems to be at peace with his situation. He has made several new friends and is interacting with people better than I have seen him in a long time.
