A very good place for memory care,The staff there is very compassionate, caring and patient with the residence it's a very safe place. I'm glad we picked this place for my mom! All the staff is very good with the residents can't name them all but Heather activities director, she seems to have more of the jobs there than anything she can be doing activities or she'll help take them to the bathroom she's wears many hats,Abby one of the texts are the two that can get my mom to take showers and just always comfort her. Can I forget my weekend girl Bree always goes right in and gets her and helps her at any time. Last but not least Shannon the cook, she is just not the cook she is very caring and sweet to all the residents she spoils them all! They have a really good crew there now.

About two years ago I came to visit my Aunt and as we were waiting for her lunch to be made this lady named Shannon Hayward came and personally set up her lunch in the most beautiful way. She made it feel like a lunch with the family not just a cafeteria feel. She described every ingredient she used (my aunt is VERY picky and won’t eat unless she knows everything that’s been added to the meal) Shannon then talked to her in a way that none of us have seen any service providers do. She was gentle, soft spoken and most of .. She had patience with her.. it made us feel so comfortable and happy knowing that our Aunt was receiving the best care around. All the way down to making her feel confident enough to eat every meal. Every Visit we made she would talk about Shannon in some way. Truly such a good space. My Aunt has since passed away, but knowing she genuinely got to a point where she would look forward to her meals and started asking what’s on the menu today Shannon is something I will always find comfort in. seeing the way she cared for my Aunt was so special to us.

I recently got to volunteer at Bridgewater Memory Care with the Activities Coordinator, Heather Finn who is amazing with the residents. She is kind, she knows them and knows what they like and don't like and treats them with love, dignity, and respect. I didn't see the other staff interactions but the way Heather works with these sweet people spoke volumes. I will definitely be back to volunteer my time with Heather and her people.

My kids and I have done different activities with the residents, including piano playing and board games. Heather Finn has been a joy to work with coordinating these. She’s eager and creative in her planning to ensure all the residents have plenty of activities to enjoy their days. The facilities are clean, plenty of space and natural lighting. The residents look happy and well cared for. My kids ask continually when are we going back for a visit?

I often volunteer at assisted living homes to spend time with the residents and entertain them. Out of all the places I’ve been to, Bridgewater seems to care about its residents the most. Every-time I visit the residents are doing activities or interacting with one another. In the past several years there was much turnover of staff, including leadership. Current director Jay Rodriguez and his staff have moved Bridgewater into a new, solid level of care. They love and treat residents like family. They continuously seek new knowledge and understanding of memory care. They listen to families and genuinely seek to address any questions directly, and always with the resident's well-being as the first priority. The community itself is attractive and open, with comfortable public spaces for residents to gather or relax (but within easy view of staff for monitoring). I expect this community to continue to thrive! Definitely recommend Bridgewater for anyone seeking a caring new home for their loved one!

Since February of 2024, my father has resided at Bridgewater Memory Care with a diagnosis of dementia. Since then there have been turnover in the staff and occasionally had a couple of caregivers whose hearts weren’t fully into the job. But, for the past year, my father has received the kind of care my sister and I prayed they’d provide. A facility which is focused only on memory loss in its residents assures the structure of care is continuity. Providing activities with exercise, crafting, music and the one on one conversations keep those who are still able the opportunity to engage with others. The facility is bright, open, safe and welcoming. My sister and I have been nothing short of grateful for the care provided.

I saw a video on social media of the residents dancing and having a good time. It got me thinking that Bridgewater does not get the recognition they should have. Which led me to leave this review. I work in home health and visit all the facilities in Granbury, and Bridgewater is truly one of the best. The residents are always doing something fun like crafts, painting nails, games, balloon toss, and walks outside when the weather is nice. Even those in wheelchairs are included in walks outdoors. The residents aren’t just sitting in front of the TV all day. They’re always engaging with the residents, which is exactly what families should look at when choosing a memory care facility. A lot of people assume the really fancy or more expensive places are better, but I can tell you that's not true. Bridgewater stands out above the others. I always recommend them to families looking for a memory care facility.

I recently had the opportunity to visit this community and I must say that my experience was quite positive. Despite some recent changes, the staff truly shine and have made a lasting impression on me. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the staff members are dedicated to providing exceptional care. The activities offered at the community are engaging and well thought out, catering to the unique interests and needs of the residents. It was wonderful to see the residents actively participating, smiling, and enjoying themselves. While transitions can sometimes lead to uncertainty, this community has managed to maintain a warm and inviting environment. It seems that the leadership is committed to finding the best ways to support and enrich the lives of their residents amidst change. If you are looking for a memory care community that combines a caring staff and engaging activities, I highly recommend considering this one. The dedication of the staff is evident, and the sense of community they foster is truly uplifting.

This is such a nice community. The layout is the ideal setup for a loved one with cognitive impairment. The leadership and staff truly care and are striving to provide the care your loved ones deserve. If you have someone in the early or advanced stages, I encourage you to visit with their team and tour the community.

I visited this community today and was highly impressed. The building is beautiful and set up specifically for memory care residents. The residents are able to walk around the entire property as well as the courtyards safely. Karen is wonderful and can help families find the right place for their loved ones.

Arbor House is the best Assisted living option in Granbury. They have loved on my mom for the last 2 years and have done a tremendous job. We’re forever grateful for the stress they have taken off our family as we were her caregivers before Arbor House. We highly recommend Arbor House to anyone looking for senior care.

Visited my mother in-law here this weekend and was again impressed with the facility. The facility is clean, and the staff is very friendly and loves the residents. Meemaw enjoys the group of friends she has and had fun showing us around. The rooms are well kept and there are lots of activities for the residents. Great place.

My sister came to Granbury Arbor House from an assisted living facility in Brownwood. In the year and a half she has lived there, she has made a remarkable change, her attitude and demeanor is much better. While her mobility and ability to communicate has continued to decline because of the Alzheimer’s, but she is happy, engaging and visits all over the facility. She no longer stays in her room and broods in front of the television. The care friends, and the engagement program has given her purpose and self esteem and she seems to enjoy life again. There may not be a cure for Alzheimer’s yet, but at Arbor House there is quality of life for her time remaining. I am convinced the move to Arbor House was the right one for my sister.

I really love the caring staff here at this Arbor House Community... you can sure tell the difference in the care they give here and that gives me hope for my family when the time comes to choose the best place to live.
