My mother-in-law was cared for by Mayberry Gardens in Garland for almost two years. The caregivers were very good with her. She at times could be hard to deal with, as she loved giving orders. The only complaint I have is that her estate was supposed to have received a prorated refund because she passed at the beginning of the month. When I called to inquire about this, no one ever returned my calls. I called several times and spoke to a person at times and was told someone would get back with me. I never did hear from anyone and I called many, many times. I finally gave up.

My dad was at Mayberry Gardens-Garland from April until July when he passed. My dad was well taken care of and proud to call Mayberry his final home. I believe the "homey atmosphere" is what made this place special as well as my dad delivered meals on wheels here years ago. If there was a problem, the new owner and management did their best to correct the problem in a timely manner. I could not have asked for more attentive staff in my dads last days. Those last days are difficult and will be forever grateful to the staff for helping my dad transition thru those last days as well as provide suport for me. Family isn't always blood.

Mayberry Gardens has a very professional team working to make sure that every resident is taken care of. We moved my grandmother from a group home to Mayberry Gardens and she loved it. We were very lucky to find a place that had staff that took pride in their work. The buildings were clean, the home cooked meals were profound, and the other residents seemed so happy. On day one, the other residents welcomed my grandmother to Mayberry. Heather Craddock, the Executive Director, went above and beyond my expectations to make sure that my grandmother received the best care. Heather will work with you on an individual basis to ensure that you are aware of your loved ones needs.

My mom has lived at Mayberry Gardens in Garland for almost six years now. Everyone at MG has been such a blessing for my mom. They have helped every step of the way with her changing needs. The staff has been very caring. Various activities are always available-performers, crafts, services, etc. The houses and grounds are beautiful, always decorated for the current holiday. I recommend MG very highly.

My100 year old Mother in law is in building 8. The ladies that tend that home are amazing! They are patient, caring and go above and beyond. I visit regularly and all is clean and have a real home feel.

My mother has been they 3 years and is happy with her care. She is in House 9and the staff could not be be more caring. When you walk in it looks and smells like home. Lisa, who is over her house is like a friend to all the Ladies and men who live there. Moms only complaint is weekend help cannot cook. I tell her every one needs a day off. The whole staff, doctors and nurses have not disappointed me and my Brother with their patients and care. One last thing I need to add is Christmas Party for each house are delightful. Moms whole family come to make her Christmas special.

We have had my mother in law here since March 1st. With covid it has been tough but the caregivers here are so kind and really go the extra mile to make sure she is taken care of. Would highly recommend Mayberry for loved ones who need extra help.

Mayberry has been exactly what we needed for Mom. The staff to resident ratio makes a homey feeling with a beautiful dining, living room serving only about 15 residents per house. Individual needs are addressed with professionalism! Thank you for a great experience and the comfort of allowing us to use our nanny cam for extra security! Blessed!

My mother has been a resident at Mayberry for almost a year. Im amazed how great the staff is and Scott Mayberry. They have a tremendous weight of responsibilty caring for our loved ones and now adding the extra due diligence with doing their best to keep the homes COVID FREE. Thank you for the GREAT JOB this assisted living facility is providing. I highly recommend this place for you loved ones. They have listened, kept us informed, and taken care of our questions , concerns during this time.

I searched for a few months to find a great place for my dad that would be within our budget. I couldnt have hoped for a better place than Mayberry Gardens. Finding it was a true Godsend. They treat my dad with great care and respect. Not like some places that ignore those they should be caring for. The entire staff is wonderful to talk to and work with. Heather McCracken, Roma Albert, India Mathews, Sozit Yusuf and Dianne Farnsworth...you guys are awesome!,Thank you for providing such good care for my dad. If youre looking for a great assisted living or memory care provider I recommend this place to anybody. You can always call Dianne and she will walk you through everything step by step.

When my father needed a new home, Mayberry Gardens was the place. We were very lucky to find a place that had staff that took pride in their work. They cared for my father as if they were caring for their own loved one. Not only did I see it, but my father could feel the compassion as well. Anytime we wanted to take him somewhere, he insisted on returning because he said they would miss him. The things we looked for in a home were meet to above satisfaction; Clean, welcoming, attentive, respectful to my father, private room, good homemade food, activities and most important great price. You cant go wrong with Mayberry Gardens when it comes to the care of your loved one!

I really enjoyed work at Mayberry Gardens. Adrian and West was awesome to work for. But there were some of the administration there that should have been gone a longtime ago such Kathy and Diane they will lie on you to cover themselves. House 11 was an awesome house. The residents were very loving. Many of the families I worked loved and treated me as family. Surprisingly, I am still in contact with family member of those that are still there and those of residents that has passed. Thanks to the staff and my friends who remain there such as Lesa Johnson.

at the mayberry garden the facility is always clean the patient are always up and ready ! they also have a wonder staff Ms Shenneaka the house manager is very nice and polite as well as the activities house keeper mrs Merriume !! they are all wonderful people!! Great place

I have been a part of the Mayberry family now for 10 months and I must say it has been a wonderful experience. I am truly blessed to be a part of such an amazing team. The staff here really make the experience for the residents as well as the family members a great one. I am lucky to manage such as wonderful group of employees who take so much pride in caring for our residents. We make every effort to ensure the needs of our residents are taken care of. I encourage anyone looking for a family-oriented, home environment for their loved one to stop by our facility. I promise, you will not be disappointed! I have been in healthcare and management for almost 20 years and I have not found a facility as loving, kind and family oriented as I have with Mayberry Gardens.

My Dad felt loved at Mayberry Gardens by everyone who cared for him. The staff at all levels understood how hard it was for Dad to leave his home only two months after his wife passed away. Everyone there made him feel like family. The staff was diligent about seeing that he got his medications at the correct times and at the correct meal. Dad liked the variety of food served at the meals, and could tell them if there was something he didnt fancy on his plate. They would make a substitution cheerfully. Dad was well cared for at Mayberry. I would recommend them for anyone needing a homey, safe place for someone they love. Barbara M.

Mayberry Gardens has taken care of several of my family members. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff is wonderful and I always felt secure with my loved ones there. My grandmother lived there for almost 5 years. It was a huge relief to know that she was able to be in a safe and home environment vs a sterile nursing home. Mayberry Gardens is a unique place. My Dad has now been a resident for 1 year and is very happy and has meet some good friends. My husbands grandfather and also my great aunt were residents in the past. I can only hope that when my time comes that I am able to be cared for in this type of environment. Thank you to all of the staff for taking care of my family!!!

What can I say about Mayberry Gardens? We moved mom there because the large Senior Living facilities she was at wasnt conducive to her declining mental capacity with Alzheimers. Since day one, Dianne and the rest of the staff have been a blessing as we navigate this new phase in moms life. I am so thankful that we found Mayberry Gardens and wish I would have found them sooner!

Mayberry Gardens has been a great place for my aunt, the staff has been helpful and caring with her; the house is always clean and unlike so many retirement homes it doesnt have a bad oder. Mayberry Gardens is a beautiful choice for your loved one who needs assisted living! My Mother-in-law is receiving the best of care. The staff if wonderful!!
