I've been a resident of Palm House for about a year and a half the office staff and maintenance are very much hand's on what ever i need they are always there to help i couldn't be more happy with the way things are here I've never lived at an apartment complex where the people that run the place are as helpful as they are i hope to be able to stay here as long as i need to.

Wonderful staff cordial and extremely caring. Lisbeth will always greet you with a smile plus crafts for the residents. Lupe & Dee will make sure maintenance is A1 and making sure residents feel comfortable. Needless to say, Miriam will ensure that Palmhouse will be running smoothly.

The maintenance department at Palm House is great thanks to the Lead Demanti. He is efficient and gets the job done and checks with you to make sure you are pleased. Nice to have people like him here.

Lupe and Devonte came to fix my new AC unit that was not working. They identified the problem right away and fixed it. It has worked perfectly since then. Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable and they worked well together as a team. They were quiet, neat and very considerate, working quickly and efficiently to rectify the issue. I appreciate both of them and the Palm House staff for addressing this issue like they did...it was a very hot week and I really needed my AC to work. It's been seamless since they finished...no issues at all. Thank you all so much.

The apartments here at Palm House are very attractive inside-- they were renovated a few years ago and the white kitchen with black appliances is lovely. Office management here is very good- Miriam, Veronica and Lizbeth are all very kind and thoughtful people. Our maintenance staff, Lupe and Devonte, are also excellent. We are all in the process of getting new air conditioners in our apartments and maintenance has been outstanding in expediting this. When repairs are needed with anything they see to it that all is taken care of fast - this is much appreciated. Our housekeeper Sylvia is excellent , always smiling and is very kind. Our hairdresser is also excellent, and is loved by all.

I have mixed feelings about this place. When I moved my friend in they still had a barely working van and would make several trips out to Walmart & Kroger for the residents. When COVID hit, they used it as an excuse to say it was too difficult to sanitize and they refused to fix it. Then the activities director refused to drive it and found another job. They did find another activities director, but the van sits unused for 4 years now (although it is still advertised on their website.) My friend does not drive :-(. Also, I think they need to invest in a new hot water heater. Cold showers are kind of yucky and happen far too frequently. It is a beautiful little place and it does have a very nice hairdresser on site. And it does take housing vouchers. For an over 55 facility that is kind of a rare mix. Most of the people are friendly, some not so much, but you find that anywhere. However, and this is probably the reason I'm finally posting a review, when the management left for the long 3 day (below freezing) Martin Luther King weekend on Friday, they posted notices on everyone's door that said "please keep your thermostats at 65"! Yeah... Why don't you try that yourselves? These residents pay for that heating, and they are also paying with an expectation to have hot water and working laundry facilities (& I don't just mean one working machine). I will certainly revise this review if some of the problems are addressed properly.

I have lived at Palm House for 7 years. I enjoy the people and games we play. Miriam is doing a great job and is continuing to improve activities. She is very helpful with answering questions and helping residents with any kind of paper work. She takes the time to listen, explain and show/help with with all your questions and needs.Palm House and residents are lucky to have Miriam!

I have lived here at Palm House for four years, and I am very happy here. The staff are friendly and professional. When I want companionship, I can usually find other residents in the common areas. Palm House hosts a variety of activities for residents. My favorite is Karaoke Afternoons; we each choose songs, and everybody can sing along. I also like to chat and drink the coffee that is provided in the dining room on weekday mornings. If you're looking for a comfortable place to live with things to do and friendly people, consider Palm House.

My grandmother has lived here for two years and she loves it, never has an issue with questions being answered and things getting fixed in a timely manner. She's extremely in love with the Hispanic young lady there. Unfortunately I can't remember her name. Starts with an S I think. But yeah. You all keep up the good work.

I have lived here at Palmhouse for 4 years now and it is a great place to live.And the review that was posted by the lady calling herself Day reader her statements about drug activity and bad management was a a total asinine statement. The one light in question is now working which was a problem for Oncor not the complex also there is no drug traffic in this complex that is the most horrendous fabricated statement I have ever heard. You know as for me being in the law enforcement area I would know if there was such a activity going on here. As far as the rest of the statements they have no bearing to the issue that was at hand. Again as I say that review was the most horrendous asinine statement that one person could ever make up. So for any future prospects looking for a nice place to live I would highly recommend palmhouse Senior Living. And this place is well lit it's safe and the crime rate is is very low for this area.

The units are fairly nice, but the community there is awesome. Completely indoor units and numerous areas where tenants gather to engage in any number of events. The have an awesome manager and event planner who both stay busy planning events and outings for the tenants.

Maintenance taken care of quickly and staff nice but corporate office in Dallas raises the rent every year. That can make it hard on older people on fixed incomes.

I have lived at Palm House for 10 months. It has been great and I would recommend it to anyone over 55 who wants to live in a community that combines peace and quiet, safety and security, the chance to meet friendly and interesting neighbors, and...above all else...a property manager and her entire team who are 100% resident oriented. Property manager Debbie Justice is, in my opinion, simply top notch. Her attitude and leadership show in the attitude of ALL of her staff...Gina (Social Services Director), Anna (Leasing Assistant), Lance and Raymond (Maintenance), and Sylvia (Housekeeping). Did I mention value? Palm House is a hidden gem at a great price. Your dog will love it here and will make a bunch of great new friends...just like you will.
