Excellent staff, very human and knowledgeable. Everyone from management to help people, are willing to help. It is difficult to name each and everyone, but ALL are very nice and caring people. The facilities are very well maintained and clean. All the time spent there was well worth it. Thank you all! Hope the best for you.

Lexington Medical Lodge is a beautiful, very clean, comfortable facility to experience post-hospital rehab. However it is the compassionate care of staff, nurses, CNAs, and therapists that so deserve a shout out of thanks & appreciation. First encounters with Robin Edwards (a fountain of information) and Janie Torres set forth a positive expectation of my stay. Also deserving acknowledgment are CNAs Laura Granado, Caity Goodman, Kaitlin Lewis, Alexis Somers, Elizabeth Todd, Elizabeth O'Rear, Chris Edwards and Allie Heath, Day Nurses Alecia Dorman, Jennifer McCune Night nurses Stacie ? & Izzy ? . Also to be commended is the awesome therapy staff of Mary Johnson, Lauren, Amie, Kristen, Machelle, Michael and therapy dog Haven. They were patient, encouraging and contributed greatly to my recovery process. I would highly recommend Lexington Medical Lodge.

Lexington Medical Lodge has been an answered prayer for our family. My brother in law is a veteran who served in Desert Storm and unfortunately 20 plus years later, was diagnosed with a variant of ALS. He was able to live in our home for 9 months, but we quickly realized he needed quality in-depth long term care that we couldn't provide. We looked around everywhere and visited many locations and found ourselves not willing to place him in any of them... until we found Lexington. They were so kind and very helpful from the beginning. This facility has so many staff members that we had no worries that Clay would get the quality care he needed. The facility is bright, energetic with daily activities and it's fresh and clean! We went to visit the other day for his care plan meeting to make sure that we were all on the same page about his care routine. They are doing such great work with him. My brother in law said he liked "all" the staff and that they were all very helpful. He is a long term patient and this was what we wanted to hear. If you have a loved one that needs long term or even short term care that you can't provide, then this is a great place for them.

Don't be afraid to include rehab as part of long journey home. They don't forgt anything, from pain and sleep management with compassion.

After a difficult cardiac procedure, I gained so much confidence by an inpatient admission here to strengthen my legs, master getting in and out of bed, parcipating in their post surgical rehab program.I'm so grateful for the care I've received here.. Top quality

Absolutely wonderful, clean, comfortable, place. Great staff. Great food. A sense of family from the first encounter with the administration. Many opportunities for social interaction ..outings, crafts, games, parties, etc. So very appreciative and grateful for my parents to be so well-cared for in such a positive environment.

I'm so grateful for the compassionate, hard-working "angels on earth" who have taken care of my dad during his two week rehab at Lexington. I wish I could call every person by name but suffice it to say they are ALL rock stars in my eyes. We got my dad's discharge order from the hospital not knowing exactly where he was headed as we found out not just every place takes Humana. Lexington stepped in to save the day. They flawlessly arranged the admit and sent Frank, the van driver, over to pick dad up at the hospital. From those who coordinated the admit with the hospital case workers, to van driver, to all the awesome nurses and nurse aides, to therapists, to the administrator, to dietary manager/kitchen crew, to the housekeepers, to the doctor, to the social worker who took the time well after "going home time" to sit with dad when he was lonely and missing home...everyone was great! The building was clean and well equipped. I especially liked that they thought of headphones in the room for my hard of hearing dad to watch TV...same ones he uses at home. The newly renovated Bistro dining room was beautiful and the food was consistently delicious! The activity room had a nice array of puzzles and books to keep dad engaged during downtime. The building grounds are lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the front porch gliders to watch the cars go by. My entire family is attentive to our patriarch's care but at night when we needed rest ourselves we were 100% confident we could leave the facility knowing he was in good hands. Dad got to go home today with a smile on his face and spring in his step. Thank you Lexington!

My husband is a disabled vet who went to Lexington Medical Lodge for respite care. I cannot say enough good things about the facility, warm staff and program! My husband has dementia and was happy during his stay and I was confident and pleased with his care.

Hi! My dad was in this facility for almost 3 weeks and was taken really good care of. Everyone there is so welcoming and take really good care of your loved ones. Misti, goes above and beyond her title. Upon discharge, she has made sure we have everything we needed for my dad. If things could t be arranged through a company at first she made it possible for us to use equipment til we got our own. We will forever be grateful for all she has done. You won't be sorry one bit for putting your loved one here.

I researched several facilities before I admitted my husband to Lexington Medical Lodge. When I went for my initial visit the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Laura did everything possible to make my husband feel special. He was greeted with "Hello Dr. Bob" when he was brought in from the hospital. Bob said that it was "his home away from home". He also referred to it as a boarding house- offering 3 square meals a day! Thank you for your kindness - in his last days.

We have been so pleased with the exceptional care that my father in law has received. He had a few problems when he came in and they were very quick to get treatment going. He has made a lot of progress since he went in. I would definitely recommend to our family and friends.

I was admitted to Lexington in May 2023 after having knee replacement surgery. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazingly great and we never went hungry. Building and rooms were keep very clean. They also had activities if you felt up to it. I hope you will have as great of experience as I had.

Lexington Medical Lodge overall is a great place for your loved ones. I have had a few instances that I was not happy with but we were able to work thru them. Everyone is nice and caring. Doesn't smell bad. They do an excellent job at keeping it clean. All the staff members are good with patients. One nurse stands out is Miaya McCrary. She has been so great with me and my mom. She has helped calm some of my anxiety about placing mom. She is able to redirect mom's sundowners when it gets bad. She let's me know when things get worse.

When my mother needed rehab services, we turned to Lexington Medical Lodge in Farmersville, following several recommendations from local friends who'd experienced good care there for their loved ones. I visited the facility prior to her transfer, and was pleased to see bright, spacious rooms and hallways with plenty of space for wheelchairs and walkers to move around and encourage independence. Everything smelled fresh and clean. Double occupancy rooms have en suite bathrooms with accessible showers. Both bathrooms and bedrooms have plenty of private storage for personal items, and each side of the bedroom has a dedicated mini-fridge and television. There is almost always coffee, tea, and ice cream available in the cafeteria. Multiple living room areas include comfortable furniture for guests to visit. There's a nice activity room where residents gather frequently. An on-site hair salon provides services from visiting stylists weekly. There's a lovely gazebo on one side of the building with comfortable rocking chairs, and the front porch is also lined with comfortable seating. Residents seem confident in moving about the facility freely with their families. The intake staff were kind, professional, and swift in their work when we expressed the need to transfer my mother there. Her first stay at Lexington was after an unexpected hip replacement following a fall. She had a very challenging recovery, but the staff were amazing and supportive. We always felt welcome, and visiting hours seemed to be very generous-- we were never made to feel like it was time to go. We even held our little Father's Day celebration and my daughter's birthday in the small cafe at the end of my mother's hallway. The therapy is excellent. The nurses and assistants are very caring and attentive. They held high expectations and celebrated with my mother when she was able to go home after several weeks. When she needed support again recently, we knew just where to go. We have been even more pleased on this visit, with staff remembering my mother and our family, and taking time to check in with us about ways they can help comfort her. They play hymns for her, read her Bible to her, and some have even mentioned that they pray with her, because she likes that. They keep us well informed on how she's doing when we're not there with her. From the intake staff, the friendly door attendant, the nurses, the aides, and everyone else-- we've been so pleased. They all keep so busy with their work, but someone always takes time with us when we have a question or a need. There's no greater comfort than the assurance that my mother is well cared for around the clock. I've visited many rehab/nursing facilities over my lifetime, and I can honestly say that this one is at the top of the list-- and we are so very thankful for them.
