We placed my 82 retired Navy Commander in this facility for the 2nd time April of 2021. He originally entered in March of last year and when Covid hit we got scared and moved him back into our home. Having a parent with memory loss and having a parent with the loss of vision is needless to say, "hard". I realized very quickly how much I missed all the assistance from the staff at Bella Valley. My husband and I were glad that we made the decision to bring him back. The other residents are kind, funny and so pleasant to visit with. I stop by a few times a week to bring him his special snack, "skittles', which he can not seem to exist without. The food smells amazing and the chef cooks with flavor and I have definitely had my fair share of taste tests. 🙂 They offer OJ & Cranberry and endless amounts of coffee. He has made a few friends and been invited for Bingo and loves to play cards with a couple of the women. His photo is nicely displayed on "the Wall of Honor" for retired Veterans. He loves it! Jessica truly loves the residents of Bella Valley. This would be a wonderful place for your families loved one. I highly recommend for so many reasons. My favorite is that they truly care & it shows by the lovely women and men that work their to the community and how clean and detailed and organized they keep Bella Valley. I cannot put into words how much I love and enjoy caring for the residents of Bella Valley Estate. I am also thankful to all our residents loved ones who allow us to care for some of the most important people in their lives.

First of all, let me start by saying this review is long over due. I must say, that as a nurse and caregiver, to my mom who has dementia, I research various places for her to move into before deciding on this facility. In fact, my church volunteers once a month for crafts (before Covid), which helped me feel very comfortable in my decision to place her here. When my mom moved in, it was another name and owned by another company. I started noticing as weeks went by, that things werent getting done. Promises that were promised by the E.D., were never kept and so on! Unbeknownst to the families and residents, the facility was being sold. You could say it was a scary time. Fast forward to NOW... BELLA VALLEY ESTATE, which is owned by Priority Life Care, implies just THAT!!! Its a family owned company and their priority is taking care of the residents and the staff. The families had a chance to meet the new owners during a zoom meeting and I was quickly impressed! Sevy and Bobby Petras, CEO & COO and Mark Starks, V.P. Direct Operations, of Priority Life Care eased all our doubts and fears and that the mission of Priority Life Care was to take care and to provide the BEST possible care to each and everyone of our loved ones! Reassuring that our loved ones would be treated with dignity and loving care that they so deserve. During this meeting I could see that Sevy, Bobby & Mark were intentionally listening to each and everyone of the concerns we shared. First and foremost, the subject of Executive Director was addressed. It is the most important position of any well-run facility. As I see it, this person is the captain of the ship. I was ecstatic when the Executive Director position was given to someone who had been working at the facility for many years. One who was in a director role in memory care. Jessica Wells, is absolutely the BEST person for this position. With her many years of experience in geriatrics, she is very knowledgeable. She is compassionate and caring to all the residents and really tries to take care of ALL their needs. Im sure its not easy as once being in the medical field for many years AND with my experience with my mom, our parents become childlike and we become the parent! Jessica has always and continues to be a FANTASTIC listener! Whether, its a concern, thought or question, she will take time out of her day to talk with you. Thats exactly what I wanted when I moved my mom in. Someone to take time for me and my concerns. That may sound selfish, but its true! Most days you will see her working late, walking the halls, visiting with residents, checking on things and making sure that ALL THE THINGS get done before she leaves. I know this to be a fact, as I live close to the facility and on several occasions driven by in the evening to see her sitting at her desk. Thats dedication!!! It is such a relief to know there is someone who loves what they do EVERYDAY! It shows by her actions, by her smile, by her voice. Well, now that everyone is wearing a mask, I see it in her eyes as I can tell theyre smiling under it! Jessica is a Godsend for me and my mom. Its truly wonderful to see someone in that position have such a positive impact with her staff and to have the same desire that Priority Life Care has when it comes to our seniors. You can talk the talk, but you better be able to walk the walk and the staff at Bella Valley Estate, certainly do that!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE! I LOVE THIS PLACE FOR MY MOM!!! I was so concerned about placing her in a facility during this time of Covid. To be honest, its the best and safest place for her. The staff takes fantastic care of her. She loves her apartment and everyone there is her friend. Thats exactly what I want EVERYDAY happiness for my mom, who wouldnt want that for their parents!?! Thank you Jessica for ALL that you do for this community. Thank you to the wonderful staff that you guide and lead with pride every single day.
