Initial conversation with Lucy to move our Mother to Birchwood of Grapevine from Katy Texas was “HEAVEN” sent! I was instructed to visit with Melissa,she has been with us every step of the way from morning texts all the way to night texts.Melissa’s guidance through the preparation to get Mom into Birchwood made the process easier she was patient,kind and Knowledgeable about every aspect of how and what needed to be done to make our Mothers transition. Upon our late at night arrival at Birchwood were met by Patrice (she has been at the facility for 24 years) who stayed late (beyond her shift) just to help us get Mom settled. Patrice was a “SAINT”! Having an employee that has worked for 24 years at this establishment is so comforting-Patrice is the “ESTABLISHMENT” The Staff was “WONDERFUL” upon receiving our Mother.They were attentive and loving to our Mother! We were able to leave that night feeling as though Mom was in a good place. The next morning we visited with Amber she answered ALL our questions and concerns (again an employee that was very knowledgeable in her job) we were assured that she is always available if we need to visit with her concerning our Mothers care! Amber’s guidance was so comforting and again when we left Birchwood that day we were relieved knowingly that Mom was in good care. We also met Lidia a nurse taking care of Mom that day she was very kind and engaging! Our experience with Birchwood so far has been beyond our expectations! I will continue periodically with my reviews about Birchwood and our experiences as we continue this journey with our Mother! Thank you to “EVERYONE AT BIRCHWOOD” for helping with our Mothers journey!
