We came to Elk Creek from another facility in the area and we are SO happy we made the move. It has been AMAZING, from the tour to today. Everyone genuinely cares about my uncle and makes sure he is well taken care of. Best decision we made! Due to an urgent situation with my mothers health, we placed my mom here in late October in the memory care unit. I must say that it has been very smooth and enjoyable. Elk Creek staff have been very gracious towards my mom, can't complain, can only give praise from the senior staff to the aides. The aging chapter in anyone's life is hard, and emotions for everyone involved are roller coaster like but the staff here understands and respects every patient's chapter. I have seen it firsthand and can vouch for it. I don't how long my mom will live here, either moving to Heaven or another facility due to budget reasons (my parents are retired missionaries and live on a humble retirement). My family and I are super grateful for this facility's staff and the care towards her. Highly recommend this facility for short or long term care for your loved one.

Place looks great and they have activities for residents and family but even though we paid extra for extra care for Dad, they actually didn't give him any extra care unless we called them (we had cameras in his room so we knew exactly what they did or did not do for him). So we transferred him to memory care because we were told he needed "more care" which of course costs more money. It was good for a couple weeks but they only have a couple caregivers per shift for 16+ residents of varying degrees of dementia and it was pretty much hit or miss if he actually got care. Although, he had a few excellent caregivers during day shift there weren't enough caregivers that cared and there didn't seem to be any accountability on evening/overnight shifts and Dad would sit in his chair for hours on end. We shared our concerns on so many occasions when we could get a hold of anyone on the latter shifts because they kept changing their numbers but didn't inform us. They made excuses but in the end they just didn't care and nothing changed. After only 4 months we felt so stressed, discouraged and disappointed and felt there was no other option but to move Dad to a private group home that was night and day different. They actually saw his needs and attended to him gently with dignity and love.

Although our time at Elk Creek was short, I have zero complaints. Our loved one was so well loved and cared for during his stay and the care team was so precious with him in his final days. There are so many that deserve recognition, Theresa, Dana, the maintenance director(her name escapes me right now, so sorry), Kali (caregiver) just to name a few. They truly made us feel like family and our family member was one of their own. The warm greetings and hugs and compassion during our final days there really made a huge difference.

My parents have been at Elk Creek for three years plus. During the last couple of months I have been able to observe the staff and management on a daily basis go about one of the hardest jobs anyone can aspire to do. The residents under their care come to them in various ages and stages of health. Their families that place them here all have concerns about their well being much like they have about taking a child to school the first day. What I have observed is the Elk Creek family tries to treat each resident as a family member. As we all know being part of a family can be trying at times, and the Elk Creek family tries it's hardest to provide a comfortable safe environment for each of the residents no matter what brings them to this point in their lives.

Elk Creek invited out littles of Burleson to come and Trick or Treat with their residents. As a parent of a little one, it was so sweet to see him interact with their residents. From the look of the resident's faces, I think they had as much fun as our little. The staff were all so energetic, kind and welcoming. We look forward to making this a yearly tradition.

We just moved in my grandmother and the process was flawless. She has been there for a week and we absolutely LOVE KAYLIE already. She is the Executive Director but she makes you feel so comfortable. Also Rosemary did an amazing job getting my grandmother's meds in and getting them scheduled. That was the biggest reason why we moved her here. Can't wait to see how she thrives!

I love this place! The staff and management are always lending a helping hand and ready to make the residents happy. My Mother has lived at Elk Creek since July 2022. We have found the administrative staff and caregivers to be caring, professional individuals. The amenities and activities are top notch. She enjoys the other residents and has made many friends. The food is good with varied menus. It has a great on-site beauty salon that is reasonably priced. Church on Sundays was important and a very sweet team of lay people come and conduct services each week. Elk Creek holds events at each special occasions and holiday. They engage with the families and keep us informed. We truly believe that my Mother’s needs are being met by folks that care about her and her well being. We would highly recommend Elk Creek.

Elk Creek in Burleson has been FANTASTIC to my grandparents. My grandpa often comments how they love him and grandma so much! (And sometimes he can be a real booger!) The staff is always friendly and smiling when we come to visit, and Trish, the activities director, was so great helping me plan a 72nd Anniversary celebration for them. She was as excited as I was! We are so thankful to have such a great place for them to be. Thank you, Elk Creek!

The best assisted living facility in Burleson. The staff is amazing and they all care so much for their residents. The facility is always clean and beautiful. Brandi, the administrator and wellness director is very helpful and knowledgeable in her positions and is so very compassionate. Julie at the front desk is just amazing. She is helpful in every capacity. Sylvia, the activity director is always doing everything she can to make sure the residents are busy and entertained. The memory care unit is unlike any I’ve seen. It’s state of the art. Upon entering this facility, it represents a caring, compassionate and dedicated environment for their residents and their families. I would Highly recommend Elk Creek ALF for any family that needs a place for their loved one.

The staff has and continues to go above and beyond to help care for our patients and they take care of us also.
