Friendly, caring staff. I like that there is staff on the weekends including nursing. Warm environment, very clean and safe feeling.

I do not recommend this facility for a job at all. They do not consider the residents who really need the care and should be top priority always short of employees and most agency workers have said that the place was not organized and that they would not work there again. administration is thumbs down very unprofessional and does not take in consideration their employees. THUMBS DOWN ON THIS ONE

We have moved several clients into this community and have always had a good experience. The staff is caring, competent and goes out of their way to make sure their residents are taken care of. It is a beautiful property and one we always enjoy visiting!

My mother loves it here. The nurses, physical therapy staff, activities director and everyone involved with taking care of the residents are fantastic. Also, the good friends she has made really make it a home. Randy Boyd

I wish my grandmother stayed in a place as caring as this one. We waited until it was a little too late, and she never got comfortable in her situation. With this place, there is an independent community next door called Watercrest at Bryan, so I feel like if she was there earlier on, she would have felt more at home in her later years.

After reading a negative review, I decided to write this. I am a 78 yr old disabled man, and have been a resident of Isle at Watercrest (The Isle) Assisted Living since 2, 3, 2020--over three months. Is everything perfect? No. No facility dealing with people giving 100% care to other people is going to be perfect. However, I sincerely believe, based on three months of living it, that The Isle is as close as humanly possible. The physical campus, buildings, etc are excellent and well maintained. Staff are friendly and, mostly well-trained. The Help button pendant we wear 24, 7 ALWAYS gets a response. It may not be as quickly as I would like on occasion, but a caregiver ALWAYS comes to see what I need. Once I got dizzy, fell, and hit my head. In the case of a fall, hependanAUTOMATICALLY and IMMEDIATELY broadcasts to caregivers. Before I realized what was going on, three caregivers were hovering over me to take care of my needs. The basics: We are in the 7th week of the COVID-19 LOCKDOWN now, so things have not been normal. However, we still get fed three meals every day. Since we cant congregate in groups, meals are brought to us in our apartment. Almost every mid-afternoon a staff member brings some form of refreshments to each apartment. They try to get us out of the apartment with events like drive-by Cinco de mayo, keeping our social distance guidelines. s everyone happy here? Well, you are dealing with over 60 elderly olks who have some degree of physical and, or mental disability, and are accustomed to controlling their own lives. By the nature of Assisted Living, when we move here we give up much of that control. Change is hard for us, so we complain. Those complaints should be treated with a filter of what is best for the community where individual wants sometimes have to take a backseat to what is feasible when dealing with a community of the elderly. All the above said to say that The Isle has been a life saver for me. I am able to live, thanks to the ASSISTANCE I get from the staff here at The Isle. I still have to do my part, which includes keeping a good, positive attitude, and cooperating with the community.

Dealt with frequent staff shortages. The place is beautiful though.
June 2019
My parents lived at Isle at Watercrest for more than four years. They received the highest level of care and were treated with love and respect. I am so thankful for the wonderful people who made their final years so great.

Until recently we were very satisfied with the care here at the Isle at Watercrest. Walked into my moms room her soiled bed was not changed and made. I dont know if its because of being understaffed or just laziness. I also noticed employees feeding residents needing assitance and taking phone calls on their cell phones. Which is so not acceptable. They need to have their attention on the residents. This will be brought to the attention of the Director and changes need to be made.

Fantastic care, because they are committed to the people in their care. This is the best senior care in the world. I loved how wonderful they were to my Mom.

The staff treated my mother like family. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for her.
September 2017
We could not have found a better Home away from home for our mom. She was cared for, loved, and respected. The staff was stupendous; extended family now. We arrived when they had Skilled Nursing, Aug. 2015, we had to move during renovations, and were only to to happy to return to what they call Level 5. They didnt just meet our expectations they exceeded them. We can not say enough good about our experience. The Isle At Watercrest would be the place we would want for ourselves!
August 2016
My mother has been a resident at the Isle at Watercrest for about 6 months and I cant say enough how professional and caring the staff has been. They engage my mother in activities and helpfully re-orient her when she gets confused. They promptly answer my phone calls and keep me up-to-date with her care plan. This holiday season I was so impressed by the dinners they offered for family, friends to share with the residents for Thanksgiving and Christmas. All the staff and administration dressed in their cheerful holiday best and helped out serving dinner and interacting with the residents and families. Today was their first annual Christmas Choir (initiated and pulled off through the hard work of one particular resident- thank you!) and the residents had fun practicing for this day and singing in front of their families. The kitchen puts out amazing food, every day, every meal. Each aide, food service worker, medication aide, nurse and other staff members show a caring attitude at every resident encounter. Bryan, College station is lucky to have the Isle at Watercrest in our community!
