My mom was at Kruse for rehab for about 3 weeks. I am a LVN and I have worked at a few SNFs in the Houston area for over 21 years and worked with hospice, visiting numerous facility for 7 years. The staff at Kruse were very professional and caring. The facility is a little older, but well kept,.very clean and has a wonderful atmosphere. My mom has been in several facilities for short rehab stays past hospital admissions. She said that if it comes time to live in a facility, she would pick Kruse Village. Thank you to the staff for your wonderful care.

Excellent Experience. The entire staff. Very Professional, Caring, Encouraging. My Husband stayed in the rehab facility for about 30 days. IWe couldn't have asked for a better place. I could go on and on about the Excellent Care from all departments. Definitely Recommend.

The Kruse rehab department did a wonderful job in helping my mother recover from congestive heart failure and a long hospital stay. With great care and thought, the team worked to strengthen her daily, with the goal of returning her to live independently at home again. We were so impressed at the communication between the shift change and different nurses; every nurse and therapist was very aware of her detailed needs and progress. Everyone was so helpful and nice; they went out of their way to solve challenges. They always asked her thoughtful questions to assess her, and made many helpful suggestions for changes at home. They even brought her alternate food when the nightly meal was too spicy or something she could not eat. Thank you all for your amazing work and for helping my mother live independently in her home again!

My Mother in Law was a resident in the apartments for about three years. Her time there went well, and she was happy with the living and dining that she experienced. Maintenance items were taken care of, staff was friendly and efficient, and management was always available for questions.

The therapy staff in rehab is wonderful and did a great job working with my mom throughout her stay. Julie, Doe, and Christi were so helpful in quelling my own fears and concerns, as well as managing Mom’s therapy and advocating for her stay. It was a rocky start being admitted on a Friday night with no apparent call from the hospital and limited staff. But we settled in well once the week began. And although the place cosmetically looks outdated and old, it is well kept and the staff were kind and helpful.

The people working here are very kind and professional. I assisted a resident with transportation, and everyone I spoke with in the building was extremely kind and helpful. I could tell they meant a lot to their residents. Love to see a community that cares deeply.

My Dad has been a resident here since 2020. Yes, moved in during COVID(!) but his need for extensive assist with self-care was unrelated to that. Kruse is GOOD. One has to understand that no living facility will do everything exactly the way we would do it at home. But in our experience, the administration LISTENS, and tries to make all accommodations that are possible (adhering also to state regulations) and that will help the patient/resident. For us it was allowing Dad to continue gardening and planting tomatoes in spring and fall in the raised beds in the back courtyard. Dad says the food hits the spot nearly always, the aides are friendly and helpful, and the rehab team is top notch, even providing rehab on weekends. Yes, I would recommend Kruse Village for short term rehab and long term care. They have other services as well (respite care, independent and assisted living), but I am not as familiar with those.

When we decided we had to have dad stay at Kruise Village. Alzhiemers took his mind. The staff there is excellent. I see my dad 3 times a week and hes always clean and dry clean clothes. He seems alot happier than he was at home. The nurses there are angels and he loves the community as well. Good place if your looking and good places are hard to find these days.

We have lived in a cottage at Kruse Village for almost 10 years and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality community to live in. The Staff and Management are top notch , the care outstanding, the campus beautiful and the benefits to all residents are excellent. We have a variety of activities, quality dining and Texas friendly residents.
