I don't live there. Its a beautiful facility. I have 4 or 5 friends that I visit 2 or 3 times a week. The food is not edible at least 2 times a week or more. Chicken, pork, meat is so tough you can't cut I or chew it vegetables have no taste and are either under cooked or overcooked. There's not enough diabetic food for people. There is nobody I've talked to that has anything good to say about the food. Maybe the director should eat it everyday for a week. I'm sure they could get the training done for the chef and his staff. The place has a wonderful atmosphere and MOST of the caregivers are very good to my friends. But at the cost to live there the food should be excellent **** rating. And someone should check it before it is served!! Thank you for your attention. Virginia

I visited several assisted living /memory care communities in the Belton area and I liked Stoney Brook of Belton the best. The staff was friendly, and they really seemed to care about what they were doing there. When I walked in it was beautiful. We toured around lunchtime and the food smelled and looked amazing. We decided that this was the best place in the area for our mother. During her nearly 2 years living in the memory care side, we never worried about the care they provided. Everyone there was respectful and kind to mom. I knew she was safe. They all took very good care of her all the way to the end. if you are facing the difficult decision of choosing a place for your loved one, rest assured you have found the right one with Stoney Brook of Belton.

In a nutshell: Lame, boring activities and little stimulation for residents. There are some positives to Stoneybrook -- it's pretty well kept (you have to nag to get things fixed but they eventually do it) and the staff is mostly friendly and attentive. HOWEVER, if you're loved one wants a variety of fun and stimulating activities, you're out of luck at Stoneybrook of Belton. They do the bare minimum of activities (think balloon volleyball and movie time) over and over and over. They're outings to restaurants revolve around the same ones again and again. They rarely do gardening or craft or cooking activities that the residents would love. Other facilities in the area have musicians and folk bands come in and play EVERY week -- Stoneybrook rarely ever does. They have an old activity calendar on their website and no one has noticed because it's always the same no matter what. If your loved one just wants to live there and fade away, Stoneybrook is the place. On the other hand, if they are still vibrant and interested in life, they're going to be very disappointed at Stoneybrook of Belton.

Food variety is good. The quality of the food itself is lacking. Overall cleanliness of the facility is good but could be improved. My father's air conditioning unit was out 4 almost a week in the middle of summer and you can imagine how uncomfortable that was. They did bring in a window unit after a couple of days. Also his dirty clothes hamper has broken twice. They do have a physician that supposedly rounds on the residence living there who need some medical attention. I would advise against using this service unless it is your only option. My father came down with an infection and it took a number of days to see the doctors PA. It then took several more days to get the results of his lab and get antibiotics started. This would typically take one day in a PCP office visit. Standard of care at this facility is poor. There are a few of their staff that genuinely care about the residents but again this is an area for improvement.

This is the best assisted living facility in Central Texas. The staff is so caring and attentive.. The residents enjoy lunch outings to Oscar Store, Green's Sausage House, and Johnny's Steakhouse. Jason, Crystal, Ashley, Melissa, and Kay keep the overall atmosphere positive and pleasant.

Stoney Brook of Belton Assisted Living is the perfect home for my mother. She needed a place where she could still have independence but have the peace of mind that a staff of very friendly and caring people are available as needed. As her daughter, it gives me peace of mind that she can live in a very nice facility and still enjoy life. Stoney Brook offers so much from wonderful meals, to daily fun activities, laundry service, and so much more. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a trusted place for their parents to go by and tour the facility.

My mother has been in Assisted Living since 2008. She relocated to Stoney Brook of Belton in November 2015. She loves the facility. The staff have been attentive to her needs, they show true concerns for the well being of all residents. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access.

I wish there were 10 stars to give. My grandmother spent almost 5 years at Stoney Brook and I cannot tell you what a godsend this place was for her. From the activities to the food, to the staff to her friends, this is the best place we could have ever imagined for her. Kay Hirrill, Sandy Carlson, Anne Stylist and Lucky Med Aid always took the time to make sure she was smiling and taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend Stoney Brook to anyone that asks.

My Father has been at Stoney Brook Assisted Living since February 2013. Because he is so very SPECIAL to us it has been one of the hardest, but best decisions we have ever made. My dad is very happy there and there are always fun things to do; games, entertainment, social events which include family members as well. The staff is AMAZING. My dad requires personal care and is treated with respect from the staff to include patience, love and kindness. His medication is distributed to him on time and the staff will call if there is a problem of any kind. Thank you Stoney Brook for taking care of this very special man for his wife and 3 daughters! Just a note, that we are there almost daily to see my Dad and we have accepted Stoney Brook staff and the residents as an extension to our family. The Pickett Family
