What a beautiful place to call home! But there's more there than meets the eye. I visit Pelican Bay weekly and I absolutely love working with the staff there. I see their heart for making sure their residents are well taken care of and this means everything. I'm so impressed with everyone that I interact with at Pelican Bay and I'm talking about EVERY department. If you're looking for a home for yourself or a loved one, go check out Pelican Bay. You won't be disappointed.

I love the people who work here! I call and get call backs. The caregivers always inform me on how our LO is doing. Nice big clean facility. I absolutely love the Memory Care Director, she always takes time to answer my questions!!! Thank you!!

I visit a friend there at Pelican Bay. She has an apartment there with her own furniture from home which makes it real cozy & familiar. They have many activities there to keep them active. She seems very content. I am really impressed!

I started working at Pelican Bay before it was officially opened .I can truly say Ive watched it literally grow, get groomed, watched workers come and go, seen beautiful elderly people live the best part of the end of their lives. Through it all it has been a life changing experience. Its been 6 years and now that Meridian has added Pelican Bay to its very large successful company I can truly say its one of the best thing that has ever happened. The program that is near and dear to them works in ways that I only can say actions speaks more than words! The Memory Care program they have literally is causing the residents to WAKE UP. The parts of the brain that I thought could no longer function made me out of a believer that any part of it can become alive when stimulated in ways Ive never thought of. Some are reading, swinging their arms to play balloon volleyball ( I never thought they would be interested in, let alone connect enough to understand what to do) Clapping their hands to music that once didnt interested them, Reading words, moving their feet to get around in their wheelchairs to do walking exercises, laughing and talking even if its just a few words but to watch them connect for that moment brings joy and excitement! I just love everything about it. The hydration station that we keep and use to make ensure everyone stays hydrated by scheduled water rounds for everyone. They love the scheduled nutritious snack that are mandatory in-between each meal. I tell you they all stay full of vitamins, and H2O lol. Im seeing so many wonderful things happen that I cant keep up. I even get thank youre and compliments that I never thought was possible. I absolutely love my job and would recommend your loved one to come and join in on all the great life changing things going on
