I will say that I interviewed many facilities before choosing Silver Creek Azle for my grandmother. I knew when I walked in that it was going to be a good one because It smelled great and everyone was out in the living room and on the patio socializing. I talked to several of the residents and they were happy! Working with Durinda was a breath of fresh air. She was truly concerned and she took charge of everything that I was so confused about! 6 months later and no complaints! Even through the pandemic! Always welcoming to be and the family… nothing to hide like the other places! Also the food is all fresh and the staff really do make Home Style delicious meals. They even invite me to eat when I’m visiting!

This place is amazing! My loved one has been living here for almost a year and I’ve never had to worry about the care she’s receiving. The staff is caring and communicates well with me of what my loved one needs. Durenda the Director has always showed a love for all of the residents that you don’t see at other facilities. The facility is always clean and welcoming. I like the fact that my loved one has her own room, personal bathroom and is able to sit outside on the huge back porch anytime she desires. I highly recommend Azle Silver Creek Assisted Living for those that want a sense of independent living but are not capable of for some reason or another!

You will not find a more loving and caring team than the one at Silver Creek! All of their food is good home cooking! They even grow some of their own vegetables! Durenda, the Director is one of the nicest people ever and gives 110% to all of the residents. This place is just amazing!

I have to give Silver Creek Azle and especially Durenda an outstanding review. One, Ive never walked into an assisted living in such prestine condition. The moment I was welcomed in, I thought I must have came to an independent living. Every resident seemed so happy, and at home. The cleanliness of the residents and community was one of a kind. Two, I received one of the best tours Ive EVER taken. The knowledge and heart that Durenda and her staff have is phenomenal.

This place is Heaven sent! I was just exhausted from being the only caretaker of my loved one... I knew I had to find her a place, but because wed had a bad experience in the past, I was super concerned about finding the RIGHT place. This time around I knew more about what I was looking for. I spent a LOT of time researching places, and then I found Silver Creek Assisted Living. I liked that it is located in the country, in a quiet and peaceful setting. I didnt want her to be in the city or in a suburban setting. I also liked that it was not too many residents and not too few, at most it houses 16 residents, my loved one has enough people to mingle with without it being overwhelming. Too many or too few residents can do a number of our loved ones. So, 16 max is perfect! I very much was happy about my loved one having their own bedroom, so many other places make the residents share a bedroom with at least one other person, and that is just weird to me and my loved one. I cant imagine that being comfortable! My loved one LOVES her room, we took her some things and really personalized her space, she says Its VERY home-y!!. The bedrooms are a good size, they have good sized closets too. The bathrooms, although not IN the bedrooms, are very close and its not weird at all to have shared bathrooms. Durenda, the director of this place, is wonderful, and the staff are all very nice. The building, yes, its older, but its clean... they keep it nice and clean My loved one says she LOVES LOVES LOVES the food. She just loves this place, and I mean LOVES IT! Which makes me over the moon happy because if shes not with me then I worry about her...and I feel so good about her being there that I dont have those worried feelings whatsoever! It is a complete relief to me AND for her. For once I know my loved one is getting the care she needs AND shes comfy and happy! We are happy. This place is a perfect fit for us! I am a real person, who never writes reviews, and I hope that my review will help another caregiver. Ive attached photos of my loved ones room. I proudly give Silver Creek Assisted Living Azle 5 stars!

The staff make sure all the residents have exactly what they need. The staff takes time to get to know each and every resident on a personal level and strive to have a caregiver-resident relationship. The staff takes time to make sure all residents and family knows she is always available 24-7. The staff are always there for the staff as well! This is a great facility- very small and homey! I would Highly suggest this facility to anyone!

Moved my mom to this home a few months ago. The staff is loving and supportive. The place is in need of updates, however cleanliness is spot on. The director makes this place ! Her loving, caring and detail to leadership is why, I picked Silver Creek Assisted Living for my mother.

I love Silver Creek. I visit often as a 3rd party provider and I always leave with a smile. The residents here are so happy and content. They are so well loved by the staff and it shows! The Executive Director and her husband come in on her day off for cookouts and to prepare special meals. The staff provides engaging activities and lots of interaction, but the icing on the cake is the beautiful patio area out back that really gives one a feeling of of country living. The residents love to sit out back and watch the squirrels play. Its just so laid back and peaceful at Silver Creek! I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for the next best thing to home.

My Aunt has recently come to make this her new home. It is the little things that count, and we have seen many. Transitions are always tough, but the entire staff has taken special care to take her under their wings as she settles in . They are attentive and caring. It means so much to a family that your loved one is in the care of people who actually take an interest in getting know the individual and their unique needs. Many thanks for going above and beyond, it does not go unnoticed.

Tara and her staff strive to ensure that each resident has all of their needs met. The staff knows their residents very well and communicate well with their family members as well as their vendors. They offer activities to help keep them happy and their minds active. They have also gotten an outside source to provide pet therapy. Their prices are competitive, but will individualize the residents plan of care that will enhance their quality of life. I visit many assisted living communities and this one is one of my favorites.

Silver Creek is a small facility located outside of the city. My Mother had lived in a small town for the last 45 years, so it was very important to me that the facility is down a country road and surrounded by open fields. The building is kept very clean, the workers are attentive and helpful, and the grounds are always maintained at a professional level. The main thing I like about the place is that the residents are not left alone for extended periods of time. If a resident is in their room, a member of the staff will be popping in and out to be sure that all is well. I would be more than happy to recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a place for mom, dad, or both.
