Two of my doctors encouraged me to go to assisted living because I wasn't eating right and becoming skeletal. Had no desire to cook or eat after becoming widowed. I decided to come here with a positive attitude and a smile. All the care givers have been so kind and helpful. There are always smiles on every face. No matter what problem I have faced, there is someone here to help me.

The staff here is truly exceptional”friendly, knowledgeable, and always going above and beyond for both the residents and their families. You can feel the warmth as soon as you walk in. Arebella has the most caring staff you will ever find. I enjoy seeing all the activities they make available to residents. I personally have seen the food that is prepared, it is gourmet restaurant quality. The facility is lovely, always fresh flowers and beautiful decor. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. All I can say is wow I have seen other homes and they were a lot more expensive for way way way less everything. If you haven’t visited this place and if you’re considering placing your loved one in a home you have to visit Arabella. Everything is so clean and it smells Like a hotel. There’s movie room there’s a library. There’s a courtyard the residence get to go into a dining Room sit down with a menu and decide what they dinner or lunch or breakfast for that matter and it’s brought to them at the table just like a restaurant anyway I cannot say enough. I hope I can get my mother placed in there. and thank you, Bri, the director. She was so incredibly nice and smiled the whole time. Let us ask any questions and was very patient with us letting us take as long as we wanted did not try and rush us at all. I just can’t say enough good things that I saw. Also, there were residence out in front just sitting getting some sun and chatting and it just is where every elderly parent needs to be. There needs to be more places like this.

Beautiful place. Residents said there is a chef there. There are chances to go on outings. There is always something going on to have a time with friends.

I have been blessed by the staff and administration at Arabella. They truly care about the residents; I see it every day. I am in and out of the facility throughout the day, I am welcomed and respected, but more importantly my loved one is cared for in the best ways possible. I believe it comes from hiring people who care, training them well, then building relationships with the residents and family. The facility is well maintained and allows handicapped access that we couldn’t provide at home. I am very thankful that this facility is in our community.

I am the primary caregiver for my family member but Arabella Of Athens is the REASON she is THRIVING after a very hard year of ups and downs with her health. From hospitals to nursing home to being given the grim news of sepsis and calling in the family. Then given hope, but only by amputation of her leg below the knee. We/She was WELCOMED HOME by Arabella of Athens after a year away. Arabella’s attention to individual needs go above and beyond. My loved one is not only taken care ofbut is CARED FOR by the whole community of staff. I am BLESSED by the care and attention given to my family member by Arabella of Athens and the peace of mind I have knowing that she is finally HOME AGAIN. Arabella of Athens has given my family member her own personal space in her own apartment along with lasting friendships within the community that are just a door or two away. There is always interesting activities to keep her engaged and a family style dining that encourages friendships and socialization. If you are looking for excellent care, compassion and community for your loved onelook no further that Arabella of Athens.

The staff here is awesome! They are very attentive to not only the residents but those that visit and to the loved ones that placed them there. There were learning curves at first, but I expected that and with open commication with the staff and management, any issues were immediately addressed and corrected. The staff genuinely care for their residents and I believe that it shows! The facility is always clean and well maintained both indoors and out!! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone considering placing loved ones here!!

I cannot praise the people who work there and supervise the services offered. There is access to movies on site, singing with local and family musicians, ice-cream in the Parlor, birthday parties, and the new Magic Moment for memory care. The Magic Moment is a wonderful courtesy where family can join their loved one doing something together that is meaningful and enjoyed by the loved one. My dad enjoyed seeing beautifully restored cars that were provided by local individuals. The staff has to reach out to make these dreams come true and the community responds. What-a-burger provided our meal and we made a wonderful memory.

Staff are very nice . Just small and didn't have a one bedroom apartment available when we needed it . Will be great when they expand. Food was hit or miss . Some days truly yummy . But most it was edible. Not a ringing endorsement. Residents are warm friendly . Miss them already.

My parents live at Arabella. My dad transitioned to the memory care unit after living in assisted living with my mom for 17 months. The staff at Arabella are professional yet loving. It is the best independent living, assisted living, and memory care unit in the area. We are so very grateful for the outstanding facilities and the incredible staff.

My great-grandmother lives here because of her Alzheimer's. I was so afraid when I was told she was going to a nursing home that it was going to be some of the nursing homes that I've seen in the past. Arabella has turned that completely around. Their stuff is some of the most loving kind wonderfully amazing people you will ever meet. They truly have a heart for the people there helping take care of. I am so glad that my grandfather and his brothers and sister chose Arabella for my great-grandmother. Though she is not who she used to be , she is in wonderful sweet God sent hands. I am so thankful for them.
