I attended an onsite meeting this week and thought I was walking into a 5 star resort to get pampered. The warm reception from every team member I came in contact with was genuine and very caring. The food was impeccable with an abundance of options. The residents were so friendly and happy, they even welcomed our team in and they were very engaged in the social events within the community. The elegance, amenities, and culture really make this a delightful place to call home!

My sister was here for just over a year (in independent living). She enjoyed all the activities (especially bingo and church). The waitstaff was always friendly and knew her by name. There are many selections on the multiple menus and the food is delicious. We had lunch and dinner many times with her. The 685 sq foot room was spacious and the price was what I consider very reasonable and competitive. The office and maintenance staff are always ready to assist. The entire family enjoyed visiting her and they the many family event (Happy Hour and Christmas with Santa for kids of all ages). Victor, the manager, makes himself available and is very knowledgeable about the industry. I would recommend that you stop by and check it out.

Loved being able to stay on-site while visiting my mom. The rooms are very nicely appointed and arranged and the staff (literally everyone) were so friendly and welcoming. We had reserved the party room at no extra charge and hosted family and friends for dinner. It was great!

What a warm and welcoming community. And such an elegant setting, both the architecture and the pool and gardens. Had several meals here, breakfast, lunch, and dinner”all good, plus a selection of 12 ice creams. Am visiting my aunt and uncle, who moved into an apt (independent living). It’s beautifully appointed, incredible kitchen, high ceilings, spacious rooms. Residences here are rentals, not condos. Worth a look if you or a loved one are in the market.

As a Memory Care Director from a sister community, my impression is that this community is visually appealing. The staff were approachable, Memory Care residents showed signs of engagement, and care staff displayed a positive attitude. The overall environment is warm and inclusive. Our lunch experience was amazing, and Celeste did a great job explaining every option on the menu in intricate detail and made wonderful recommendations. I’ve been living here for over five months, and I can honestly say it’s been a wonderful experience. The community is beautiful and the environment is both inviting and well-maintained. The food is exceptional, and I always look forward to each meal. The staff truly makes this place stand out. My medication technician, Margarita, is not only friendly and professional but also ensures that I receive my medication on time every day. Additionally, caregiver Calica goes above and beyond by keeping my clothes clean and handling the trash, making daily life that much easier. I have lived at Foiuntainwood at Lake Houston since June 2021 and recently relocated out of the state for personal reasons. Had my situation not changed, I would continue to be a resident there. I arrived with my wife, who needed to be in their memory care unit, now called Oasis. After she passed I remained because of the feeling of "home" that I had developed. Fountainwood is a wonderful place to settle and live. During the almost 4 years I've been there, the residents have been welcoming and inclusive. From the smile, and I want to help you attitude of Ana, the concierge, to all the staff ready to support me when needed, Fountainwood is the place you want to be. Guided by the confident direction of Victor, the Executive Director, and Cathy, the Business Director, I always had the feeling that I'd made the right choice. In the Pelican Restaurant, Chris, the Director of Culinary Services, Executive Chef Carlos, and Hostess Celeste provide wonderfully delicious, prepared in house meals three times a day. I found no reason to venture out to eat unless invited by a family member. Engagement Director Latisha has done and is doing a great job of looking after the activity programs at Fountainwood. I loved the weekly entertainment of the "Listening Lounge" and Happy Hour, both with live entertainment. Strength and balance activities like Yoga, Tai Chi, and Chair Zumba are great fitness activities and participating in them is wonderful. It's something I really enjoyed and had never done until moving to Fountainwood. Another point is the great support from the Facilities Director, Joe. When I was settling in my apartment, he and his team were available to assist me. Hanging a picture or setting up my TV, just to name a few. I could go on and on: however, you get the picture. I really, sincerely loved and enjoyed my time at Fountainwood at Lake Houston and it was a very hard decision to leave.

So glad we found Fountainwood. Their vetting-process is exceptional! All of their employees/staff are so very caring, empathetic and professional. They go above and beyond for their residence and family members. Cathy as well as Victor and all the staff, too many to name are very special people. The Concierge desk is the first place strangers entering FW see or seek help. It is a very difficult position. We haven't always had the best people in that desk. But when Latisha assumed the position of Lead or Head Concierge, it came alive with her personality and attitude. She trained those that worked the desk when she wasn't there. We pray her replacement will follow in her steps with a similar attitude and desire.

My mother-in-law has been in Oasis Memory Care at Fountainwood for almost a year. Diego Diaz, the director of Oasis, is AMAZING. He is always there to help with any situation. When exploring options in the Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita area for my Mom, I found Fountainwood at Lake Houston. It is in a great location, convenient to everything. The place is Beautiful, so many amenities and super friendly staff. Ryan sat down with me and explained all of the options they offer and answered all of my questions. All of the information given on this tour was truly appreciated. I'm glad this was one of the first places I toured. I learned a lot! I have visited this a community on multiple occasions and attended events here. I’ve had tours of the rooms and never had anything less than a stellar experience. The staff is courteous and helpful and polite. I haven’t seen a resident without a smile whenever I visit. They have great amenities and a beautiful property. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

My mother lived at Fountainwood for 2 years. It would be difficult to beat the facility and amenities available to the residents. FW has a great maintenance staff who help with just about anything. Most importantly, the organization is staffed with caring individuals from the top down, serving as caregivers, med techs, activities team and many more. It wasn’t always that way, but the company strives for continuous improvement and has found its stride. As a family member of a resident, you have every opportunity to help your loved one make FW a good home. Highly recommend.

My parents moved into Fountainwood at Lake Houston in April 2023. My parents both suffer from my dementia. My dad's dementia is much more advanced than my mom's, and my mom has been taking care of my dad for the last 4 years, and it finally got to be too much for her. My husband and I wanted to move my parents closer to us, and we looked at several senior living communities in the Houston area. As soon as I walked into Fountainwood, I knew it was the place for my parents. The building itself is beautiful. It feels more like a resort than a retirement home. The residents are very welcoming and the staff are absolutely amazing. It was very hard for me to get my parents to move - they were very resistant and did not believe they needed help. Polly, Director of Sales and Marketing, helped me find the right apartment for my parents - very spacious with lots of windows and a great view of the gorgeous pool! It took me two months to get my parents to Fountainwood, and Polly helped me every step of the way! Victor, the Director of Fountainwood, worked tirelessly to help me transition my parents into Memory Care (Generations), and Diego (Generations Program Director), and Sergio (Resident Care Director) were available nonstop to help my parents get assimilated into the Generations Community - they even set up a meeting with Chef Kim to help them understand my mom's dietary preferences (she's a very picky eater). The programming at Fountainwood is excellent - exercise classes every morning, all kinds of games and crafts, and my dad's favorite - a pool table! It feels like family every time I walk in the door. The care and concern that Eula, Sandra, and Tara (Med Techs), Deaundra (Activities Director) and the whole staff in Generations shows my parents every day is spectacular. I know my parents are safe and in good hands when they are at Fountainwood. We feel so fortunate to have found such a perfect fit for my parents at Fountainwood. We will be forever grateful!

Today i decided to bring my mother to this amazing community to see what it was about because were currently looking to relocate her to a community that cares about her as much as we do as her family. and this place has it they had a wonderful Mardi Gras party today with a live zydeco band Cajun food and wonderful decor. I got to speak with a gentleman who was in charge of the event and he’s was very pleasant. I definitely plan on making this my mothers new home within the next couple of weeks. I’ve started and stopped making this review several times because I didn’t want to leave anyone out. To begin this was a difficult transition for my mom and I but all of the staff at Fountainwood has made it as smooth as possible, from creating a meal that she’s loves dedicated to her, having her favorite coffee when she first walked through the door and just the overall kindness from everyone. My family and I can’t say enough good things about Fountainwood at Lake Houston. Our mother was a resident there from when it opened until this past December when she passed away. Everyone we ever ran into on our daily visits were kind, caring and respectful. From care givers, to Med techs, the kitchen staff and especially Cathy Baker the business manager we felt our mother received the most amazing care. She would always say to us that it was the best place for her, and we agree 100%.

I want to start this review off by saying I never do reviews, however I felt compelled to come share my experience with this facility. I recently went on a tour as I’m looking to move my mother into a retirement community and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The day I went they had a wonderful activity for the residents I believe it was sip and paint. I had the pleasure of meeting the Director of Vibrant life, I believe his name was Mark. He was an amazing young man and extremely helpful. He also informed me that he was the coordinator for the activity that day. I highly recommend this place. The staff were nice and the community was beautiful and well kept.

I have had the amazing experience of visiting this community many times. There is not another community in this part of Houston as outstanding as this one! If I were looking for a vibrant senior living community for my parents - full of life, outdoor space and incredible meals - Fountainwood at Lake Houston is the place!

The entire team at Fountainwood has done a superb job caring for my parents. From the moment they arrived, they have been well taken care of by every single thoughtful member of the staff. Moving into a brand new facility during covid came with some challenges, but it all worked out in the end. The facility is really beautiful and the amenities are great as well. Highly recommended.

We moved my mother in on the 16th, and the transition was very smooth. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The staff is very friendly, responsive and professional. Mom really likes it here! The facility is beautiful, has many amenities, and the food they offer is impressive. Instead of going out to a restaurant for lunch we all ordered our lunch onsite. Thank you team Fountainwood! Great job!

This is one of the most amazing senior living communities you'll find anywhere.... we toured a few of the other communities near by and none of them even compared. The staff are all INCREDIBLE and my mother couldn't be happier living here. As one of the first to move-in right when they opened she is loving meeting all the new people that are moving in each week. Hard to believe we could barely get her out of the house a few months ago and now she enjoys happy hour and dinner with friends every night. Our family loves fountainwood!
