Hello y'all, never did I think that we would ever move into a senior living place . We looked at several places, to me Holiday Parkview was the nicest looking , the Lobby, Dinning Room, Courtyard and the Swimming Pool were all so PRETTY. We have lived in Holiday Parkview in Allen for three months now. And we have enjoyed everyday since we moved in. Everyone here is so kind and friendly from employees to the residence. They have so many different activities to choose from, there's lots of fun games, exercises, church services, tours, etc… I love our apartment, love the floor plan it's perfect for us, it's our new HOME!!

After a slow start and needing some help with things in the apartment, everything settled down and so did I. The apartment is great, the grounds are beautiful, lots of friendly people, good food, except for taco Tuesday, and generally a nice community. Staff and maintenance crew are all very friendly and very helpful. Patience is sometimes required with some maintenance issues, but getting better.

Record my husband and I have lived in an independent senior living facility for the last five years. We have been in three different facilities and the one we are in now Parkview and Allen is by far the very best. First of all our apartment is much longer larger and is very well maintaining the hallways and grounds are very well-maintained. The resident here are very friendly and excepting of new people and the staff is extraordinary. They all seem to pitch in and do whatever needs to be done and they just want to help you and ease your way along . Activities are really wonderful. Give us something to do and sometimes it's a challenge with physical activities and then with mental activities, but we enjoy them both so much and are so appreciative of those who will take their time And Join in.

I visited my Aunt Betty there yesterday, and it was great. We had ribs for lunch and met all of her friends. The housekeeper was in her apartment and she and my aunt joked with each other the whole time. She's happy there and I am happy she lives there.

Holiday Parkview in Allen Texas is a very friendly community. There are a number of activities available to the residents. All things considered, this is a safe place to live.

Generally a nice place for elderly folks. Serves three meals a day and sometimes have speacial meal events. They offer us many activities every day and have nice rooms setup for them. Revently completed an update to the interior of the facility. Colors are really nice and carpet goes well. Unfortunately there wasn't an active construction manager nor did the facility manager or maintenance manager ensure quality of work was controlled. Lots of carpet was runied by workers traking floor adhesive on it and other construction liquds (lots of stains in hallways and entryways by the contractor, carpet is peeling up in several areas and poor judgement was made at high entry points (like kithchen and outdoor entry) where carpet was placed instead of tile. The photo gallery on the Website is NOT the Alan facility. they show a much nicer facility then Allen. Not sure why they do that but it's very misleading. Cleanliness of the facility is poor. I see cleaning ladies visit more than clean. This as been brought up to management many times but no change. Hallways are not maintained and stairways are filthy. Garbage collection areas on each floor is a disaster, constantly overflowing onto the floor. Same with outside. Mattreses, furniture, appliances are littered everywhere. Managerment does nothing. They have washing and dryer machines on each floor with ironing boards to use. Very nice.

It is always a pleasure working with Holiday Parkview in Allen. Chef Anthony and Jennifer French along with all the staff has always easy to work with and I feel like I can call them friend. They partner with the Recreation Center and is always so gracious. I cannot express enough how their kindness and heart shines within the community.

I enjoy most of the activies. I like the idea that I don't have to cook, because the meals are provided. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our apartment is quite and comfortable. Wish the company would provide more seasonal decorations and let the residents display decorations around our apartments. Would like to display Chrismas lights on our banconies and doors. "Keep in mind" that alot of the residents "at our age" don't have alot of holidays left to celebrate. Let us enjoy decorations and all hoildays to the max. Thanks for listening!!

I came to Parkview three years ago. I had lived in the same house in Virginia for 53 years so it was a big adjustment This was the best thing I could have done as I am near my family and established a new home for myself. A little iffy about the weather . but you can't have everything,

My father-in-law has enjoyed living at Parkview in Allen for 4 years. He is 96 years young, and he is in very good health. He has so many close friends at Parkview. It is always a Blessing to visit him there!

Jackie, the rental agent, gave me a good tour around the facility and we looked at several floorplans. She answered all my questions about amenities, etc. and she introduced me to several residents waiting for lunch to begin. I believe I received a good impression about life at Parkview.

We had my father in law's memorial here as he was a resident. The folks here were so friendly and welcoming. I loved walking around and looking at all the displays everyone had at their door's.

I found this Super Nice Facility as I was looking for my sister. I am so glad that I did. It is a retirement Facility that provides Freshly Prepared Hot meals for their tenants. I would relate it to a Cruise Ship! The Facility is Really Clean - Fresh smelling, joyful - lively atmosphere with lost of activities not to mention the movie theater with popcorn. Most of their guest were mobile and there were many married couples who call The Park-view their home.My sister had certain needs that went beyond the standard of their guest. She was apprehensive and other needs but they were so very tentative to her and others needs. I thought I would have to move her however they assured me that she was fine and they had no issue with her. I would and did give them 5 Stars even more if there were more to give. The food was healthy and well prepared. The service was very good. I highly recommend that anyone pop in and take a look prior to making any decision anywhere else. Oh MY GOODNESS!!!!! A dream come true for my 87 year old mom! After 3 different places in 8 years, THIS IS THE ULTIMATE one! Now she has PEOPLE, a one bedroom apartment, with washer, dryer hookups (if wanted), but Free washer, dryer access if needed, 3 SQUARE MEALS provided PLUS A FULL KITCHEN of her own, once a week maid service included, sheets and towels also included!!!!! Plus a pool with water aerobics, painting, yoga, card and domino games, and BINGO 3 times a week! AND included.... electric, water AND an emergency button for safety! THE STAFF is one of a kind and so very welcoming! All for $2,500!!!!! Trust me HOLIDAY RETIREMENT HOMES HAVE IT ALL!!!!!

Good facility, except that this Sunday, apparently they had to clean the kitchen, and it was self serve for residemt during which they served beans and cornbread. The meal looked pretty hardy, but the line backed way up until there servers came out to assist them. Many residents had walkers and needless to say, it was difficult for them to handle the Walker, and to serve themselves at all. They provided plastic ware, but were short any knives at all. A lot of room for improvement for which could be a highly rated facility.

Very nice retirement home its set up more like apartments but the facility is HUGE! Has little nooks through out it with little libraries and sitting areas. There is a courtyard, playground, and pool so littles visiting can have fun too

My Father-in-law has a senior apartment here, and there is a home - health care agency *Elim Home Health) on the premises to care for those who need it. There is a main dining hall that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, the grounds are well-kept, as it the large swimming pool. There are many enrichment activities also, and each floor features sitting areas to rest, visit, work a jigsaw puzzle, read a book or just look over the scenery outside the windows. It us a nice, clean place.

The facility is nice, clean, and quite safe. Most residents are nice and welcoming and the complex has a lot of activity. The individual apartments range in size but none feel cramped. Pets are also welcomed.
