I went there to see a tenant. The apartment is nice, the parking lot was clean. The complex is in a nice and quiet neighborhood but only actual minutes from, gas, grocery, restaurants, and main thoroughfares to travel to and from.

This is a quiet and pleasant location and just the right size for my needs. There is sometimes a problem with timely maintenance issues. Our manager is pleasant and easy to work with and does her job well. The problems are not her fault I am satisfied with my place here.

I have lived here for many years and I can honestly say it is one of the best places to live here in Abilene. It does not have all the most modern amenities, but it is in a good, quiet community. It is in walking distance to public transportation, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, and much more. The management is always making improvements and trying hard to keep up with repairs. Whitney is our new manager and she is doing a great job.

The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors are excellent. The grounds are kept well too. The staff is friendly. But it has its downside as well. If you need maintenance done, they either do it and do it sloppy or don't do it at all. And they do it whenever they get around to it. Not within a reasonable time frame as the state requires. The empty apartments being made ready for tenants to move in are more of a priority than the ones who are already moved in. The maintenance man is spread out and over worked. So if you are lucky, they will get to your repairs in a month. Or at least that is the soonest that they have repaired anything of mine. Many items checked off at the time of move in have still not been fixed months later. I have had a water leak for over a month. Maintenance showed up right before 5 p.m. last Thursday, replaced the bathroom sink and then just left. The sink has no hot water now and the bathtub leak was never addressed. A mess was left behind and instead of coming back to fix it, the maintenance man signed off on the order that it was repaired. When it wasn't! So far all I've experienced is shoddy work or no work at all. Their laundry room is in a constant state of disrepair too. And the way you are expected to pay the rent online is sketchy. Unless you pay a certain way, it adds a $25 service fee to the rent amount. It also posts the wrong amount due. If it wasn't for the people, I would advise to steer clear. Appliances are dented in and cheap. Windows are old and need replaced. There are no rain gutters on many of the apartments. The building themselves are 50 years old with evidence of past termite infestation. Although that said, I haven't seen an insect indoors since I moved in. Which is another nice aspect of the apartment. So yeah, a few drawbacks for sure but an overall decent place to live. Specially if some of these issues are addressed.

I kind of have a very different view of this place. I lived there 11 years from 2011 to 2022. During that time a man was murdered two doors away from my apartment. Two buildings over from ours and lady was so severely burned she later died in Lubbock burn center when her apartment totally burned out. It took 5 fire trucks and blocking of both ends of the street. The fire was coming out of the roof above the heater location on a very cold night. But being there that long it was sold several times and very many managers. I would never go back there.
