I’ve had such a great experience with Traditions of Smyrna! Misty at the front desk is truly one of the best”she always greets everyone with a smile and keeps things running smoothly. It makes such a difference walking into a place where you feel welcomed right away. Beth does a wonderful job with coordinating activities for the seniors, and it’s clear the team is intentional about creating meaningful engagement for residents. The building is always clean, smells great, and is very well maintained. You can tell there’s pride in both the environment and the level of care provided. This is a wonderful facility for assisted residency with competent and friendly staff. The residents are all friendly and welcoming as well. I have to visit multiple assisted living homes daily for work, but this is my favorite so far, mostly due to the amazing concierge Misty. She is very helpful and always has a smile on her face. I absolutely love the way that she and Hayley KNOW and TREAT the residents. If they are considered the face of the facility, then your loved ones and you are in great hands!

The management and staff are efficient and professional and very friendly and helpful. Administration is great. Meals leave a lot to be desired. I suggest getting a better chef. Cheep cuts of meat seem to be on the menu with very little seasoning. While I realize the age of the clientele demands discretion when using spices there are many recipes available that could answer our needs

Traditions is Smyrna is the premier assisted living and memory care campus in Middle Tennessee. The Director of Wellness is top notch as well as all the other staff that are there. When you first walk in the building you can see how it is resident driven.with resident care engagement. With countless activities for your family it surely rises above all others. My father recently visited the campus and was thoroughly impressed with all aspects. Definitely worth the time and effort to visit the campus and engage with the staff and residents. So when my mom was diagnosed with dementia, we didn’t know where to turn as caregivers! We saw a caregivers support group and started going to learn more! We met Cindy Clark at Traditions of Smyrna and she has stayed in touch for the past year, she would cold call us to check up on us and was always so caring and understanding! Now my mom has progressed and recently fell and broke her hip, and my dad had health issues, so we knew it was time to get them help! We toured 9-10 different assisted lives being facilities and came back to Traditions of Smyrna! Cindy Clark has been very professional, compassionate, and has become like family! Thank you Cindy Clark, staff, and Traditions for all of your help getting to this point and for future help!

Traditions of Smyrna, is very well organized, clean, with excellent resident/staff ratio, with an abundant amount of recreation/activities for everyone. There are always events taking place, there is something for everyone. We visited several assisted-living’s in Nashville area, And, I understand why there’s a waiting list for Traditions of Smyrna AL. Cindy Clark /Executive Director’s, Style & Direction is superb, and is one of the main reasons this location made US Newsweek for being one of the 3 best locations in southeast United States. Cindy Clark And her Team is the reason we chose Tradition of Smyrna.

My parents and I toured the facility today with Cindy the director there. The place is fabulous. Love everything they have to offer. My parents would have so much to do and meet other residents. The cafeteria has all day options besides the 3 scduled meals. And so much more. Cindy even gave me (us) info on things/questions to ask and look for while researching/visiting other places. She took so much time and patience with my parents. I loved this place. Only reason we didn't sign today is because my parents are not ready yet. However, they really liked the place.

I was very overwhelmed, not sure where to begin, and Cindy Clark walked me through the process with genuine care and concern. Cindy was extremely communicative end helped me make copies, get things notarized, find movers, and treated me as though she had all the time in the world, when I know she was very busy. The new independent living is beautiful! It’s a great place to choose if you want maintenance free living but still like to cook and go out to eat. The staff is very welcoming and the apartments are beautiful and well appointed.

Traditions has not only been a safe and overall very good environment for my husband, it has also become my home away from home. No matter how situations and or guidelines have changed; the staff, nurses, and caregivers have gone the extra mile to make most everything workable regarding my husband’s declining health. I am often greeted with smiles and hugs when I walk through the doors at Traditions. The caregivers and staff have made it their priority to meet the needs of the residents and to help each patient to feel more relaxed. I absolutely enjoy listening to the laughter and chatter among the residents and caregivers. I especially appreciate how the trash in each room is emptied at the changing of shifts every single day. Beds are always made and the rooms look both clean and usually odor free. I get a kick out of the various activities and special snacks Tracey plans for the residents. I also appreciate all the wellness programs provided by hospice on site and how they so well with the Traditions caregivers! Mariam is one of the happiest and most encouraging nurses I have ever known. She mixes with everyone and gets right in there working side by side with her caregivers. Brenda is truly a genuine caregiver and is all about providing the best for all residents. It is obvious her number one goal is to make each resident feel special! She is such a role model for other caregivers in both her work ethic and devotion to those in which she sincerely takes her caregiving responsibility quite seriously. There are so many other amazing employees whom I have left out in this post but appreciate so very much! I especially feel that I can now express any of my concerns to the directors and that they too will do everything they possibly can to provide the best of care to both the residents and their families. I am now most comfortable and at ease at ease leave my loved one in the home of Traditions at Smyrna. In no way do I proclaim that have I gone two whole years without having a few worrisome issues. However, I am now most comfortable reaching out to directors whom I feel will make every viable effort to resolve any of my personal concerns on the behalf of my loved one. I especially appreciate Traditions desire to establish an open communication for those who need a listening ear. Without a doubt, God opened the perfect door that I wholeheartedly needed when my husband, my daughter, and I toured Traditions of Smyrna. I Praise Him and I certainly want to thank all the employees at Traditions of Smyrna for providing my husband & I a home away from home. ™

I had the pleasure of entertaining some delightful seniors at Traditions of Smyrna. The community is spotless and modern. Their engagement programs had the seniors out and about, visiting and while I was there, listening to me sing classic country songs. The staff was engaged and helpful.
