Staff is amazing at their jobs, always playing games or communicating with residents. Management is super sweet, Meeka and Tracy make sure to make the facility light up with joy, for their residents and the staff. Highly recommend this facility for your mama or daddy when it’s time to retire or if they just need a little more help with daily living activities.

I am so happy we found Wellington Manor - Newport for my step-dad! My mom and step-dad lived with us and my mom took care of everything for him. He is 91 with diabetes, some dementia, and in a wheelchair. He could dress and feed himself, and pedal himself around the house in his wheelchair but my mom did everything else for him. She helped him shower and go to the bathroom, which sometimes was at 2:00am and often required a shower and bed change. She cooked, cleaned, did all the laundry and managed all his diabetic meds and dealt with his increasing dementia. Her sleep was often interrupted due to him trying to get up in the night and falling on the floor. It’s amazing she could do what she did at 84 years old, but she was exhausted, emotionally drained, losing weight (which she didn’t have any to lose) and depressed. She came to me one morning and said, I don’t’t know how much longer I can do this. That’s all I needed. I started researching assisted living facilities and some friends told me about Wellington Manor - Newport. They had moved his Mom there a couple of months prior and she loved it. My mom and I checked out several places and narrowed it down to 3, then took my step-dad to visit them and he chose Wellington Manor - Newport. In January (6 mos ago) we moved him in and within a week I could see the difference in my Mom. Yes, there was a transition period. It was tough for my mom to give up some of the things she’s taken care of for so many years and it was tough for him to get used to being in a place with other people. But the staff is great and handled our questions and concerns with care. They treat him with respect and care even when he is agitated and agitating others. I feel like the residents at Wellington Manor - Newport are really part of a larger family and the staff cares for and about them like family. We visit 3 times a week, all different days and times and love all the staff! Are they perfect, no.. but neither is my home. Do we wish he could still be at home? Absolutely! We all do, but know that it’s not realistic. So I am blessed and thankful that Wellington Manor - Newport is now his home. Thank you to the staff for all you do for all your residents! My mother is in the memory care unit. The compassionate care that is provided for her there is top notch. The rooms are nice and accommodating, the food is excellent, the location is convenient for my family, and the staff the staff is absolutely amazing. My mother has Alzheimer’s, but she is able to express her love for her caregivers, nurses, and all other staff. She is well kept, her room is clean, and she had a small wound that thru the excellent care provided has healed. They stay in contact with my dad and I for any needs or concerns. They are compassionate to my dad and I, as we deal and come to terms with the horrible Alzheimer disease. They are outstanding and I cannot stress enough how blessed our family is to have Wellington staff taking care of my precious mother. I would name names, but I do not want to leave anyone out. God bless the staff and their caring compassionate hearts.

Had the experience to visit Wellington Manor of Newport. Such a beautiful place that felt more like a home then a Assisted Living. Staff was warm and welcoming, Meeka with her knowledge, reassurance with all questions and her compassion for the residents was truly felt whole heartedly. Newport’s Wellington Manor is a welcoming, caring facility! It is clean, attractively decorated, and well-maintained! The staff is caring and competent! They are exceptionally kind to the residents and try to promote a loving, family-like atmosphere! Food is always an issue in a facility. They try to provide for a variety of tastes and always have options if you do not care for or cannot have what is on the main menu. They make the alternatives readily available! I would highly recommend Wellington Manor to anyone!

When I was looking for a place with little time available Wellington Manor in Newport was able to provide an apartment quickly and took care of administrative processes for me so I was able to focus on all the other items to manage during this difficult time of change. I looked at several senior living options and Wellington Manor rose to the top. Once residency was set up the staff far exceeded my expectations. They are attentive, caring and even protective of their residents. I have observed the staff developing relationships with those that they are caring for. Which tells me that it is not just a job for them, they actually believe in what they are doing.

Wellington Manor Newport TN Let me start out by saying the staff lead by Gidget & Libby are amazing! The binding seem of this powerful team are these two wonderful ladies! To say Wellington Manor has been blessed with the most caring God loving administration is an understatement. As I have learned these two ladies will be leaving this facility I am saddened and concerned over what Corporate will do and what kind of care they will provide our parents. I pray for a loving person who will honor the position and the care of our elderly they way Gidget & Libby have. How do you replace the best of the best? Wellington Manor became home to our mom 2 years ago. Reluctantly, she moved there, but she began to feel like she was home. The staff takes care of her needs very well. She loves for them to come give her hugs and cuddles and some she knows personally! Having local people working there has helped mom adjust to her new living arrangement! Wellington Manor provided the ideal living situation for our mother. It was her decision to move there at 95 years old and they provided a perfect balance of individual independence that mom still wanted with a personalized support system that she needed. Wellington welcomed her with open arms and a ribbon cutting ceremony when she arrived! The staff quickly got to know her on a deeper, personal level, taking the time to understand her personal preferences and daily needs. She quickly settled in, making new friends, and becoming close to many of the staff members who cared for and loved her like she was family. She made new friends with other residents and loved the social interaction provided at mealtimes, along with the full calendar of activities, events, and outings which she could pick and choose from, helping her to live life in her nineties to the fullest. During mom’s stay at Wellington, we three daughters had much less stress knowing how much she loved her new home and knowing the wonderful care and medical assistance she was receiving. We learned so much about what matters as we age, and mom’s wonderful experience living at Wellington Manor helped us to understand. The staff was lovingly vigilant in making sure mom was active, happy, safe and healthy and never alone! Welling Manor will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Our mother chose Wellington Manor as the place she wanted to live for an active assisted living experience. She loves the staff, her studio apartment which she decorated with her favorite things, and the care/attention that she receives. She is never lonely and she felt safe and cared for during the pandemic. They went over and beyond to keep the residents safe yet connected for their mental health. My sisters and I have such a peace of mind because we know how happy and active she is and how close they monitor her health. It has been a great experience!
