My mother was moved in to American House at the end of 2024 due to stage four dementia and malnutrition. She has thrived while living in American House. She is extremely happy living there and has made some friends that she really likes while living there. As her daughter, I appreciate the care she gets, the balanced meals and the cleanliness. The staff and caregivers are always friendly and very nice to family and to my mom. I love the activities that she gets to partake in. She gets confused very easily and I like the smaller size of American House where it’s not so easy for her to get lost and more confused. My family is treated like family there and always makes to feel welcome.

We have been so pleased with the care American House has provided for our dad. They have been attentive, caring, and helpful. Regular activities for the residents are scheduled, and the food has been excellent. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the family nights! It has been a great relief for us to spend time with dad and know that when we leave, he is in a safe, clean, and caring environment.

Both my parents are residents at American House of Murfreesboro. Everyone seems happy and peaceful as they work to care for their residents. My mother is in memory care and that unit requires special attention and diligence on the part of all employees. My mother is well cared for. I know that my parents are safe, and treated with dignity and kindness. Good meals are served in a lovely dining room and sunshine filters in through big windows. The facility is clean, the halls are wide, rooms are well maintained, as is the entire building. We have experienced a few facilities as we searched for the best place for her and then for both of my parents. Thanks to everyone at American House Murfreesboro! I wish I knew all your names, I’d thank you one by one. Thanks Cheryl, I do depend on you a lot! Thanks Charles, you are always a big help! Thanks nurses and RAs, you know I think you’re great! My brother was a resident in the memory care unit. He came there in 2022. Will I say everyday was roses, absolutely not. I can say not a concern one went without a discussion or meeting. Jim became very loved and the day he ask me to go see his home it melted my heart. Bailey came while he was there and boy did things start to change for the better. She put her heart and soul into each resident. Later, Donna came to be in memory care and the love and joy she brought to each resident was and is phenomenal. I knew my brother was safe. When the time came in March of 2024 that my brother was losing his battle he was treated with the utmost respect. My other brother and I stayed by Jim’s side. There is one particular nurse that no matter when we needed her, she was there. Kim, I thank you for your smile and compassion you gave to us. What I learned through this journey is no matter how beautiful a place is, you better look further into the love and compassion your loved one is given.

My brother Todd has already posted a review, but I want to echo what he has said. We moved mom in on August 10, 2024, and although her stay was not as long as we hoped before she passed away, the short time she was here was exceptional. The staff is extraordinary. They treated my mom and our entire family as if we were part of their family. I can not express enough my entire family’s gratitude to the people at American House for making mom’s last days with us memorable and meaningful. Thank you all for your love and kindness shown in the way you cared for mom and all of us during this time. God bless you and the work you do.

We had an overall great experience at American House in Murfreesboro TN. The staff treated my mother as if she was a part of their own family. They would come in just to check on her and would call here momma and give her a hug and a kiss. We could not have asked for a better experience for our mother. Unfortunately she passed after being there for only 3 months from complications from her dementia. But we really did come to love the ladies who took care of mother while she was there. Thank you and may God bless you all for the work that you do. You not only cared for mom but cared about her and that meant the world to us.

Staff treats my mom like family. Living out of town, I can sleep at night knowing that she is well taken care of. My mom needs our specific and they cater to her while being on call whenever i need to contact anyone on staff.

They are super attentive to my brother in law and very patient. Being a healthcare worker myself it’s hard to visit as often as I’d like to but I know he’s taken care of and they call anytime it’s warranted. Very nice staff and I’m pleased with his care.

I have a dear friend who has lived there for almost a year now. She is so happy there and is well taken care of. She loves the food and the activities. Every time I visit the employees are all so nice and sweet. It’s a lovely place. My friend feels right at home. I feel very good about her being there.

I visited here and the facility was clean and the workers were very friendly. It was a smaller building which I liked. It seems like everybody knows everybody and gets along. The seniors who live there were out and socializing with each other and playing games. I was very impressed! My loved one moved in a few months ago and really enjoys it.

I visited American House in Murfreesboro for my loved one. It was clean,neat and smelled fresh. The staff were so friendly d the residents were enjoying activities in a large group. It felt very much like home and I was very impressed with greeting I received. I was introduced to everyone and they were each kind and caring. I toured with the Executive Director and she really took her time with me. I met each of the department managers and they were so kind. If you're looking for a great assisted living or memory care this is your place. 5 Stars

From every department: housekeeping, maintenance, activities, dining, nursing, and administration, ALL HANDS are on deck in making sure these residents are loved and cared for.

My dad spent significant time at American House Murfreesboro. I can tell you without a single doubt that the staff here has completely saved his life. He has made a complete transformation and actually smiles, dances, he seems to have some semblance of hope now. He did not before he came here. Gail has been a tremendous help and effectively compassionate and communicative. The only reason my dad is moving is because we live in Knoxville and we want him to be closer to the grandkids. Like anything in life, there's always an adjustment period. I can tell you that the results speak for themselves though. This place has truly helped my dad and we are forever thankful for that.

Every time I have had interactions with the staff and others at this location I have been very happy with the response and care I've seen with my loved one. Highly recommend.

Over the last five years, my wife and I have made numerous visits to the Broadmore Senior Living facility to attend resident events and to support staff created efforts to enrich the lives and happiness of their residents. Under the leadership of Ms. Vonda Johnson, the facility was transformed from a run of the mill assisted living facility into a bright, vibrant and enjoyable environment for the residents. But what has impressed me the most, has been the level and quality of interaction between staff members and residents. Having visited nursing homes in which residents spent hours alone, without any staff interaction at all, the Broadmore Senior Living staff members outdo themselves in making sure that all the residents get specialized attention. True leaders set the tone and direction for a team and having observed the leadership style and actions of Ms. Johnson, I can easily see why her staff is so motivated and caring in their attention to residents. A team is only as good as it's weakest member, so Ms. Johnson makes continuous training an important part of her regular agenda and that training shows; even to the untrained eye. My wife and I highly recommend Broadmore Senior Living in Murfreesboro to those searching for a group of professionals who will provide care, support, encouragement and a nurturing environment for their loved one.
