When I moved to Town Village, I was impressed by the friendliness of residents, staff and management. It's said that it takes a village to raise a child and it also takes a village to support older adults. I am so happy to have made the decision to move here. When someone comes to live in a community like Town Village, they do not suddenly lose interest in nor no longer take pleasure from what had interested and pleased them before. I came to Town Village after 52 years of teaching. One of the subjects I taught was the French language. Somehow one does not think of a group of retirees learning a new language. However, I was permitted to start a beginner's French class. All but two of the residents who signed up for the class had had some French in high school and/or college admittedly, more than a few years had passed since the last time they sat in a French class. The two learned idioms, common expression, and everyday conversation. Those who had previous experience with French are still in the class, and I am starting to teach actual French grammar. This rare accomplishment could never have happened had Town Village not set aside a time and place for the weekly class. However, an even more exciting event is taking place I had been a speech/drama teacher, and I have not only been permitted but encouraged to put on plays and programs. To date, we have had four programs: duo acting, a Christmas program, an adapted Price is Right program, and an evening of humorous skits all performed by and for Town Village residents. And while the first programs not only involved 10-12 residents, the latest program boasted 26 residents and an audience of over 80 and they were a very welcoming and appreciative audience, to say the least. Town Village is to be commended for encouraging the residents to use their abilities, especially when doing so benefits all.

We spent two nights at Town Village AP visiting my sister-in-law Barbara Kleinman. We were incredibly impressed with the facility, the grounds, and most of all the people! Both the staff and the residents were gracious, welcoming, and outgoing. We are very happy for Barbara that she has chosen Town Village for her home

I moved in on the 17th of November and ever since that time it has been a delight to meet people and staff which are all very helpful regardless of the matter of the situation. Obviously the Covid had a major impact of activities that usually take place at town village, but most recently we were able to start enjoying our dining room, eating with friends, and other enjoyable activities in the building. I would highly recommend anyone that is entertaining moving to senior living to come and check out Town Village Audubon Park.

As a resident here everybody has been so nice and helpful. The pandemic has slowed down all the fun we were having, but now all the activities are getting back on track! I love having hot meals everyday and housekeeping included in the cost.

Everyone at town Village makes me feel like it is extended family. I take part in the short story Society and the art class monthly, then the social hour with music each week. They offer bingo three times a week. During the pandemic to keep us safe the activities staff went to the grocery store twice a week and picked up all the necessities we needed. The staff go above and beyond for each one of us.

I like Town Village because of the people. They are friendly and outgoing. The rooms are beautifully appointed with crown molding and spacious. Best deal in the city for the money! The food is excellent and there are always plenty of choices. The physical therapy department is excellent and all but miraculous.

Moved to Town Village after my husband passed away. I had lived in Collierville for a long time before that. I had some friends who lived at town village that I had known since 1947 that I met at memphis state college. I was a program director for the air force over seas for 6 years, so I understood a good activities department and Town Village offered a great activities program. I really enjoy living here at Town Village Audubon Park.

Town Village is a beautiful community with an incredible staff. As a previous employee I can honestly say that it is one of the best communities in the Memphis area. The staff is always caring and kind. Town Village is taking the highest precautions for their residents during this COVID-19 time. Lets start with the staff and director. Very friendly, efficient, always ready to listen to complaints as well as suggestions and with a smile. Not only friendly staff but almost all residents are friendly. The apartments have all the essentials and walk-in closets your own washing machines and dryers. There is no problem in getting repair,plumbing, etc taking care of. Living in a secure place,beautiful surroundings and even your own personal gardens. Also security guard in the evening Just think you dont have to worry about taking care of your yard Our indoor Swimming pool even has a hot tub. Water aerobics and free time you can shop for small essentials in our own Nook Our Beauty parlor has two beauticians If you only want a small meal for lunch our bistro has a wonderful view to the outside and a good selection First class meals served with efficiency and smiles in our spacious dining room. We also elect our own Resident Council to make suggestions Even have two wonderful ladies on staff that will grocery shop. And pick up drugs for you since right now being protected from the virus We even have a doctor and her staff that are on call when we need them Caring House cleaning service every two weeks During the pandemic the activity department keeps trying to come up with new ideas in trying to keep us occupied. We have been playing what I call Cheerio bingo with paper cards and Cheerios as markers to keep us from contamination Only two people at a table Short story group with a very friendly moderator that you cant help but like! Have an excellent exercise instructor. Have to sit distance apart and always have to wear masks Yoga also Art instructor Believe it or not, Im sure I left out something You just cant help but being happy here Been here nine years and have loved it from the day I moved in We even have happy hour on Fridays Cannot brag enough about living here and glad to have the opportunity to do so What more could you ask for?
