Barbara moved to this location in 2015 and stayed until 2022. It was a joyful time with social activity, exercise, transportation and a feeling of safety. Barbara moved to an independent senior apartment and enjoyed that lifestyle until recently. The stressors of making decisions, money management, and cognitive decline are necessitating a return to a supervised environment. She is welcomed back with an accommodating month to month contract that offers her options, security, friends and peace of mind. Do the math....it works out for the best when one is ready for the secure and relaxed lifestyle. Downsizing belongings and simplifying responsibility is a mental health strategy practical to her situation. Thank you Red Cedar Glen executive staff.

I visited this facility to see a family friend and I had the best interaction with one of the caregivers (Callie). I could tell she really enjoys what she does and loves taking care of those individuals. The residents would light up when she was around.

Glen the bus driver!!! I’m sure he does many more tasks at Red Cedar, but my mom absolutely loves taking daily trips on the bus. Whether it be a cool scenic adventure, a shopping trip or eating at a local restaurant, my mom enjoys these outings because of Glen. Thank you, Glen.

My semi verbal brother has been there for 3 years. In that time sherry Carver has helped me with everything between making sure he gets to go on field trips to temporarily change contact people while on vacation. She has called me to notify me about things he could not verbally get across to me. Had supper with brother this week an the meal was wonderful and the staff was very nice an patient with the residents . Lexi an Elgin went above an beyond to serve an tend to their wants an needs. Way more so then I could ever be. That all being said all the staff have made Red Ceader Glen a home that makes my brother feel at home an loved. I have attended events there with him an always feel welcomed. These wonderful people have me feeling comfortable in leaving him in there care because I know his needs an wants are being taken care of. The whole staff treats residents like family and go the extra mile to attend to their needs. Very happy for their dedication an love of service to all.

Brook gets a 5 star plus. Rating from me. She helps me with my phone I am almost blind and. Brook reads mail or the menus also when I’m upset makes me feel like smiling she is a very hard worker seems devoted to her jobb red cedar glen would be lost without her. Youlanda helps in many ways that are different from Brooke. She help me get my appointment. She helps with my social service type thing is more, but I couldn’t do without her either Jessica works in housekeeping. She helps me tremendously because I’m almost blind. She when she comes into my room on Thursdays to clean. She helped straighten everything up. She helps find things if I can’t find and I’m always losing stuff. I wouldn’t know what to do without her either they all get five stars they should get 10 stars better anyhow also robin & javene they also help with finding things like when I couldn’t find my dogs leash they helped me. Tyson in maintenance is helpful with things I need fixed- he came to help me in evening to make sure my air was good. Russ in activities is most spirited and joyful he makes me feel better and listens to try and have activities for myself and other residents other staff are also helpful but these stand. Out for me the most one other is Karen in the kitchen my diet is complex and she helps meet my nutritional challenges

The Concierge greeters, Brooke, Yasmin, Redd, Sharon, & Emilee. The Activities Department Connie, Russ, and Glen. Tyson, the Director of Engineering is always willing to offer a helping hand. I enjoyed my first visit with Red Cedar Glen this past Tuesday! Dawn and the staff were very friendly and helpful with my questions and answers during the visit. This place is going to be very high on my list of places to live when the time comes to make a decision.

RCG (Assisted Living Unit) was a very good option for my mother following a stroke that somewhat affected her mobility. Very caring staff from concierge desk, sales, business office, hair salon, bus driver, nurses, and caregivers. She really enjoyed Bingo games 4 times a week and other special activities. I highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to meet the staff at red cliff. Our tour was very good, Dawn took us through the facility. We met many happy residents and enjoyed seeing them and their Easter Hop. We toured 4 different residence. One, two and studio rooms. We were looking at assisted and independent living facilities. The complex was very well presented and we found it very clean and taken care of. Every one we spoke to were happy to be living there, and showed it. Well Done. We were impressed and is at the top of our list. Thank You Dawn.

My tour guide answered all of my questions. My mom lived here a few years ago. Her experience was great. When I needed more help tending to her after her knee surgery they figured out how to accommodate her which helped me. Another benefit of RCG: no elevators. The one floor layout is very practical.

Everything about Red Cedar Glen is absolutly wonderful. My 94 yo mother is like a new person. She loves BINGO and thier well shelved library. Mom has made friends which makes a huge difference. The caring staff is fantastic.

My mom and dad lived at Red Cedar Glen in both the independent side and the assisted side. Excellent experience with staff throughout the facility. When our parents needed to move into the assisted living area, we found the same loving care from the front office area, maintenance crew, and nursing staff. The trust they built with our family never left us worrying about our parents care whether I was in town or out of town. Staff were always available, and many times the nursing staff provided us updates concerning our parents on their own initiative. And the best review I could write would be to express how much our parents loved the staff throughout this facility. With the recent passing of our parents the loving care and expressions of love towards our family from all the staff once again demonstrated the love and care they have towards residents in their facility and their families.

When my mom required urgent assistance, they promptly fulfilled her needs on the same day. The activities team consistently organizes a diverse range of engaging programs for the residents. As a result, she's relishing the opportunity to connect and participate. The environment at Red Cedar Glen is consistently clean, and the residents radiate happiness. I've made unannounced visits on several occasions and each time, I've encountered contented staff, joyful residents, and a well-maintained facility. It proved very quickly to be a great decision in moving my sister with Alzheimer’s to the Red Cedar Glen facility for both my sister and me! The staff is very well trained and attentive to all of their residents. As well, many of the residents went out of their way to befriend her, that contributed significantly to her feeling comfortable in a new environment. My mother has recently moved to Red Cedar Glenn and absolutely loves it. The staff are all wonderful people. Their care and concern for the residents really shows. The provided 3 meals a day are prepared by a Top Notch Chef. She especially likes the deserts. Her social calendar is full with all the activities they provide. Exercise, Bingo, Domino's, Cards are just a few to mention. She loves her large room with private bath. It also has an area with a sink, cabinets and a small refrigerator. I visited alot of different care facilities in the area before deciding on Red Cedar Glen. My mother has been in RCG for 14 months now. The facility is older and not as "fancy" as others we visited however the staff is truly the difference. Dawn Driscoll and Shelby are my true heros! My mothers health today campared to when she entered is outstanding!! The compasion and care the staff provides is warm and inviting and continues every day. They truly care for everyone in this community. My mother never wanted to leave home and have to be cared for. But now, she refers to RCG as Home. We are overwhelmed by the love and communication this staff has. 5 stars does not do justice for this outstanding Staff. Great activity schedule and my mom always complemts the staff and meals. Our Mom has been living here for a few months now, and she looks 10 years younger and attributes it to the warm, welcoming people and all the fun activities she attends that keep her feeling young and active.It's so great to see our Mom smiling and thriving in a such a wonderful place!

From 2017 until 2021 this was a great place. It has severely gone downhill. They have tested residents for Covid (all negative for 4 weeks) and still they can't eat together. They had a water leak that affected the assisted living dining room several months ago and it is STILL NOT FIXED. I really don't know what has happened there.
