Red Cedar Glen was where my mother in-law stayed. They were always good to her. And the residents always seem happy. The staff are always helpful . If you have a love one that needs to go to a assisted living I would recommend Red Cedar Glen.

I visited alot of different care facilities in the area before deciding on Red Cedar Glen. My mother has been in RCG for 14 months now. The facility is older and not as "fancy" as others we visited however the staff is truly the difference. Dawn Driscoll and Shelby are my true heros! My mothers health today campared to when she entered is outstanding!! The compasion and care the staff provides is warm and inviting and continues every day. They truly care for everyone in this community. My mother never wanted to leave home and have to be cared for. But now, she refers to RCG as Home. We are overwhelmed by the love and communication this staff has. 5 stars does not do justice for this outstanding Staff. Great activity schedule and my mom always complemts the staff and meals. Thanks to all the staff. Truly my heros!!

My mother has recently moved to Red Cedar Glenn and absolutely loves it. The staff are all wonderful people. Their care and concern for the residents really shows. The provided 3 meals a day are prepared by a Top Notch Chef. She especially likes the deserts. Her social calendar is full with all the activities they provide. Exercise, Bingo, Domino's, Cards are just a few to mention. She loves her large room with private bath. It also has an area with a sink, cabinets and a small refrigerator. She brought her own microwave. She has met many new friends. I am so happy that my mother has found a place she loves to call home. Blessed.

The staff at Red Cedar Glen are exceptional. My mother has been in residence in assisted living for over three years and they take such good care of her. As her mobility and cognitive skills have diminished, they adapt quickly and continue to show patience and provide loving care.

Highly recommend....Red Cedar Glen in Hendersonville is a warm, welcoming senior community with terrific staff and the friendliest people. The Management and great support team, Sara, Dawn, Sherry, Kristina, Shanna, and Julie, all set the tone of the place by being warm, friendly, helpful, and always responsive. I toured a lot of senior living communities and this one was heads and shoulders above all the other places. Our Mom has been living here for a few months now, and she looks 10 years younger and attributes it to the warm, welcoming people and all the fun activities she attends that keep her feeling young and active.Its so great to see our Mom smiling and thriving in a such a wonderful place!

From 2017 until 2021 this was a great place. It has severely gone downhill. They have tested residents for Covid (all negative for 4 weeks) and still they can't eat together. They had a water leak that affected the assisted living dining room several months ago and it is STILL NOT FIXED. I really don't know what has happened there.

I visit all of the Senior Care Centers in Hendersonville on a regular basis. This one beats them all so this was our choice for my father-in-law. He loves it! The staff is second to none and that includes the hairdresser who is so nice! The food is great. I have personally eaten 10 or more meals there including 2 Thanksgivings. Every staff member becomes like family! Do check this out if you or a family member needs Senior care. Warm, caring atmosphere from all!

Had a great experience touring Brookdale Hendersonville, TN Dawn Driskill took time to answer all of my questions and was so kind. The facility was clean, very cheerful. The residents and staff were so friendly. It had a feeling of home.

My friend Marian is a retired teacher. She is very pleased with her apartment at Brookdale. Dawn Driscoll was an angel to her giving her time to get her granddaughter's wedding flowers together, have family in, sell her house with me at Crye-Leike and move into a big, bright place with room to garden, which she loves. I trust Dawn and Brookdale with my friends.

My mom has been at Brookdale on Walton Ferry for over a year now and my sisters and I are SO happy to have her there. My parents lived at two other facilities (I won't name names) that were very bad experiences, actually, terrible. But the employees at Brookdale are fantastic!! My mom likes living there and the staff makes a huge effort to get her involved and make her feel special. My mom has pretty severe memory problems so her day-to-day living would be much more difficult if it wasn't for the attention the staff provides. I think it really comes down to excellent management and incredible staff that makes the world of difference at this Brookdale location.

My mother due to serious health had to transist to Assisted Living care a little over 4 months ago and thankfully in our search for a wonderful community that really is interested in becoming part of your family and your loved one as a "family member" here is truly a blessing! ALL the staff beginning with the executive director to the care givers that assist their Nursing staff to Housekeeping ALL go beyond excellence to your family member!! Loved and well cared for!! Dawn and everyone at Brookdale Hendersonville have made the transition for my parents Betty & Buck who will be moving in on November 4th. They will be leaving a home they have lived in for over 40 years and had it not been for the warm and caring reception they received on their visit I am not sure they would have agreed to making this move. They really made my brother and I feel comfortable having them in this location as we both live out of state, with me moving back to Hendersonville in 2018.

The apartment at Brookdale Hendersonville was good-sized. People were really helpful and friendly. They had a nice dining room, and my dad has a patio so he can smoke outside. They had a move in special that no one could match. Theyve been really helpful in keeping me updated with my dad and whats going on with him ,and he's got people who help him with his healthcare. They went out of their way to make sure he's comfortable. There's somebody who comes and cleans once a week and does his laundry. They just take really good care of him. They're very good.

Brookdale Hendersonville North was a nice little community. It was actually our favorite place. They had individual detached bungalows, but closed to the facilities like the dining room and the club house. It was in a circle, and we liked that place. The person that assisted us there was very pleasant and very accommodating. We had spoken to three of the residents and had a meal there. What we experienced was to our liking.

I went into Brookdale Hendersonville. It was fantastic. The staff was fantastic people. The came over and visited me in the hospital, and they encouraged me to come. They really took care of the people that were there. They were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and beautiful. You moved your furniture in, and you put your furniture in there. They had sunlight that came in. It was really good. The girls came in to vacuum and clean the bathroom. It was just a clean, beautiful place. The location was very good. It was close to Wal-Mart. They had lawn movers once a week mowing the ground. It had flowers. The front porches had rocking chairs. They had swing with umbrella type thing over it. You could sit out there and eat if you wanted to. It was just very beautiful there. They had activities. They had bingo and mind games. They had someone that came in maybe twice a month like one lady came in and she dances. They had game night. They could watch free TV. You had sodas and popcorn, and you could watch the game if you wanted to. They had chair exercises.

Brookdale was a nice facility, but the cost was what we are missing. The primary caregiver for my mom looked liked its gonna fall through. The staff was nice, they had great amenities, and there were a lot of people there. They do games, and they had really nice grounds and common areas.

Brookdale Hendersonville is all on one floor, and it was quite widespread, which is a problem because you will be required to do too much walking. But it was a very nice facility. The services they offer are quite good. They have medical professionals on site.

We chose the Pennington Place because the price is right, and it is not far from where I live. The people are very nice, and the place is clean. They have a two-bedroom apartment which I really like, and my parents are happy there. They love the apartment, so that is great. They serve 3 meals a day, and the big meal is at lunchtime, but they were disappointed with the food. They said it is lousy, and they get very small portions. They have games, and somebody comes to play music.

My mother-in-law had been at Pennington Place for a while in their assisted living area. The staff were very good and very polite. The apartments were very nice and big, but I just didn't seem to see people coming out. It was more of a quiet and reserved place. I just think they need to get the residents get more involved, let them get together, and have each other's company.
