My Grandma has been a resident at American House Hendersonville for 4+ years, and I can't express how much love and quality care she is given. Demetrious Gaines, the Memory Care Director calls weekly to give a update on her care and well being. It isn't just the phone call, it is the timing of the call. She is like an angel who calls when my heart needs it the most. Honestly, it is pretty incredible and almost indescribable how much peace of mind she gives me in regards to my Gran's care. All the staff pours their hearts into caring for the residents from the directors, nurses, and care techs. American House Hendersonville is home for my Gran. Not to overshare, but I am able to sleep peacefully at night knowing she is receiving the quality care she deserves.

I am thankful for the compassion and attention to care American House provided to my Mom. Marquita (Director) gave me good advice and helped me understand my Mom's care needs. Nurses Tamera and Tonja did a great job taking care of Mom's medical and emotional needs. Nurses Chance and Smyla provided additional good care during the day. Tanya helped get Mom to participate in planned activities. Josh kept Mom's TV going! Karen took great care of Mom during the night. The staff always quickly responded to my request for care and for advice.

American House Hendersonville is doing a great job of caring for my 94-year-old mother. The facility director Marquita is very compassionate and is always available to answer questions and give advice. The nurses (Tonja, Tamera, Chance and Smyla) are knowledgeable and take the time to talk to Mom and make sure her needs are met. Tanya encourages Mom to participate in activities and interact with the other residents. All the staff are good at working together to make sure Mom's needs are met.

After visiting several communities for my Mom that has Alzheimer’s I choose America House. The first thing I noticed was how clean and well maintained the facility was. It’s a smaller community and very personable. Everyone is very pleasant and welcoming. Corey is the man and definitely was the major contributor to my decision. It was a tough decision to make but one I haven’t regretted one bit!

I want to make a heartfelt thank you to all of you that took great care of my husband for a little over a year. My husband was on hospice in last two weeks. We had the horrible weather here in TN and no family could get there plus the hospice nurse Erika who was unable due to the weather. I want to recognize the very best that were there for my husband. Marquita the Ex Director, for having the are best people there during this time. Especially Maria, Martha, Marta, Brittany, Melissa. Nurse Chance (who never left his side). I love visiting the staff and residents because everyone is so friendly! I can always tell that the residents are truly happy with their new home. It's very clean and doesn't have that "nursing home" smell. I would quickly recommend American House to anyone who is shopping for either independant, assisted living, memory care!

The staff and leaders of American House have been tremendous to our mother and our entire family throughout our journey and every step from an initial tour to decision making, transition and move and during these months of our mother settling in to her new home. The Director and staff at American House of Hendersonville are some of the kindest and most compassionate caregivers it has ever been my good fortune to encounter. They not only attend to the duties which they are being paid to perform, but their attentiveness to individual residents' needs often goes above and beyond what one would expect. My mother moved into American House's memory care unit this past April with late stage dementia. The facility director, Rachel, and her dedicated team of nurses and caregivers welcomed Mom with open arms. The memory care unit director, Wanda, made sure that Mom received the loving care and attention that she deserved during her 4-month stay. Equally important was how welcomed everyone made us, Mom's family, feel when we came for daily visits. Our previous experiences with other assisted living facilities were less than pleasant. We are truly grateful that Mom's final months were spent surrounded by people who truly cared about her.

My mother has been at American House Hendersonville, TN for almost 8 months in their Memory Care. I have been very pleased with the office staff and caregivers for mama. She settled in much quicker than I had expected. They care about their residents and I am thankful for the patience they show daily as they help residents navigate daily life and care for their needs. It was hard having to put mama in Memory Care and it gives me comfort knowing that mama is being cared for by people who care.

I struggled for months to find a place for my grandma. The ones i've visited seemed so cols and not inviting. That was until I came here. The stay was so helpful and addressed any concerns I had. The residents seemed to enjoy the activities they had going on that day. So if you haven't had any luck give them a try.

The staff at Elmcroft are compassionate, professional, and demonstrate integrity in all that they do for their families. My family is so very blessed that we have trusted the care of our mother to the good people of Elmcroft Hendersonville. They have made Mom feel safe, cared for her mental, physical, emotional and relational needs as if she were their mother. The staff have treated her and us with the utmost respect and dignity. Each and every time I have visited Elmcroft of Hendersonville I have found it to be neat and tidy and CLEAN. It even smells clean. The staff is always kind and helpful. The residents are always smiling! I'd say that makes for a happy home!!
