My special needs brother needed skill nursing care after our elderly mother's health declined. He became immobile and was just lying in bed at home with his mental and physical health declining. When he was admitted to Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation & Healing, his A1C was at 13. After working with his diet and medications, his A1C lowered to 7. When family saw my Facebook pictures of him at the facility, they said he looked better than he did at home. They mentioned that he looked happy. The center has provided him a life with activities and community that he needed. The staff is very easy for me to work with and has been nothing but respectful no matter how many questions I ask and how annoying I know I can be. I appreciate the care they provide for my brother and how well they communicate what I need to know about him. They really care about his well-being and he is happy which is my main concern.

This place has been very good to me. The nurses and techs , physical, occupational therapy sure know how to really help me. They have a lot of fun activities to do and they really know how to get the residents involved.

This facility has been wonderful for my father, post stroke. The rehab they provide has been very helpful for him and he's well taken care of, he requires 24/7 skilled nursing care. The entire care team really seems to do their jobs well. Working in healthcare (RN) has made me more critical of places and aware of what makes a good facility or needs to be avoided.
