I visited Charter Senior Living in Gallatin unannounced. I've had bad experiences before with facilities like these so I just wanted to show up and see what happened. I was immediately greeted by genuinely friendly and caring people who took their time to show me around and make me feel welcome. I came at a busy time with lots of activity and smiling faces. I don't think I've ever seen a happier place. To top it off there was an adorable little dog, several cats and a tiny little goat in pants spreading the joy. This place is a treasure!

This facility is amazing. When you walk through the doors you feel as if you are in your family home and NOT a facility. They even have the family pets (cats, dogs and birds). The staff is so very kind and patient with all residents. Everyone from, Stephanie, the director to Paula, Health and Wellness Director, to all the nurses are such a pleasure to work with. With my healthcare job, I go into this facility quite often. The atmosphere is always upbeat. The staff and residents are always smiling and treat each other like family. If you ask a staff member about one of the residents, you can tell they genuinely care and take the time to know each of the residents. There is always a fun activity going on. Honestly, I want to stay and hang out with them when I visit there. And then there is the facility dog, Sam. Amazing.

I do hair here every tuesday for the residence. The employees and residents are all like family. You feel welcome as soon as you walking the door. The staff is great. We have come from out of state twice to visit a relative living at this assisted living. We were graciously welcomed with friendly staff, they accommodated us with a good lunch in a separate area as we visited with our relative and ate together. My mom's last few years were with Charter. And I can say we could not have asked for a more caring staff. In so many ways, they went above and beyond to care for her needs, especially in her final days. Several staff members came in during off hours to care for her. On top of this, as we prepared to say goodbye, there were staff coming in on on their days off to visit with her. If you are looking for a culture of caring, kindness, and unconditional love for a loved one--THIS is definitely the place.

Mom lives at Charter Senior Living in Gallatin and absolutely loves it. The residents are wonderful and friendly and the Staff & local management are better than we could have ever hoped for. Loving, kind, and always there to listen and give a hand. Always smiling, laughing, and making everyone feel special. They treat her like she’s their mom too!! Recently mom fell and broke her hip and is now recovering in a rehab facility. Although this facility is beautiful and the staff caring, it is not Charter. Every day mom wants to know when she can go home! Home to Charter. And this going home to Charter is what motivates her to get up every day, go to therapy, and get her mobility back. She misses them so much. She has had calls, emails, flowers, and visitors from Charter come by checking on her. Last week, when I stopped in at Charter to pick up some clothes for mom, it hit me. Everyone says, There’s no place like home. And for mom, that home is Charter.

I felt welcome from the moment that I arrived! The boutique style of senior living was exactly what I was looking for. All the folks were engaged in some activity and the "cottage feel," to the community let me know that anyone moving from home or from another community would be comfortable and have a smooth transition. Often times we as sons and daughters overlook the, "what would Mom and Dad like," and go for the big, overly glamorous buildings. Often times Dad doesn't feel like tgey will fit in. If you are looking for a place like Mom's house, this is the place for your folks! The apartments are quaint and the courtyard is fantastic. It's never to early to get a plan together. Don't get caught off-guard scrambling. The staff is experienced and the best in the business. Go for a visit before the need pushes you into a wrong decision. Hope this helps someone.

We recently moved my mother into Morningside of Gallatin and it has been such a positive experience. It was an adjustment for my mother but the staff and the director, Stephanie Harville, have made her feel so welcomed and at home. Everyone exhibits genuine care for the residents. Morningside has a real feel of being home and the resident bird, cats, and dogs just add to that. From the decor to the food to the way the staff treat residents like family; there is a real sense of home. My family and I have been really pleased with the care and oversight they have provided our mother and she is happy living there. Morningside has been a great choice for our mother. My mother recently moved into Morningside of Gallatin. The staff has been so wonderful and helpful! Mom is doing great and is very happy. COVID has not kept the residents and staff from helping make this transition smooth. We talk on the phone often and can even do a virtual visit if we want to see each other. She has made nice friends already and is especially enjoying being with folks her age. It is also good that she has her own space now instead of staying with me or one of my siblings as she has been. Her apartment is so nice. She loves the food and is worried that she is going to gain weight because she is eating so well. I have peace of mind knowing that she is surrounded by nice folks, caregivers and nurses. And that COVID safety precautions are being taken, but not to the point that she is isolated. I also love that they have their little dog Sam that is being encouraged to come visit her since she loves animals. Paula and Carey are helping us figure out the long term care insurance.

We Love this Facility! We placed my mother-in-law there a few months ago. She has some Dementia and memory issues, but the staff there are excellent and she really does get the care she needs. The facility is very nice and professional. The facility is decorated pretty and the food is of a great variety and delicious. The facility is always having events for the residents to enjoy and be a part of. We HIGHLY recommend if you have a loved one that needs the care you can no longer give yourself, that you check out Morningside of Gallatin. You will not be disappointed. The Director Stephanie is great and you can tell she truly LOVES her residents as her extended family!

My father lived at Morningside for 7 months and it was a great experience! He had lived at home alone for 20 years and had developed some dementia! After he moved to Morningside we found that his dementia was from isolation! He blossomed there and loved every day he spent there! The staff became part of our family! They loved him and me! I have always had an amazing experience at morningside of Gallatin. In the past they cared for my father and grandparents. My grandfather is still at the facility and they make everyone feel at home. While I have not yet had to place a parent in Morningside, I have had occasion to visit here several times. The residents are happy, the staff is happy and it is a pleasant place to be. Morningside of Gallatin is my family. I would give this place six stars if I could. It’s a great atmosphere as soon as you walk inside, especially when you’re greeted by Sammy. Thank you MS for everything you do for the residents, staff & the community. Let’s not leave out one of the most important people.We also have Gallatin’s Volunteer of many years, Mayor of Cairo, lovely to his bones, HOMER BRADLEY!!!! &&& the best food in town.
