Whether the class was at our off campus facility or at their location, the staff and aids have always been incredibly nice and helpful. The residents have always been happy and eager to participate and I think that's a reflection of their care at Wellmore. It's nice to know there's a local business that cares so much for their senior residents and that are willing to provide a wide variety of activities to keep everyone active and sharp. By far the most outstanding experience we have had with any long-term care facility. Both of our parents required more care than our family could provide and needed everything from rehab to Assisted Living and in my dad's case, Skilled Nursing in the final years of his life. We transferred our dad from another facility in Charlotte to Wellmore and the care was so superior at Wellmore it cannot even be compared. The team at Wellmore was friendly, capable and professional and met all of his changing needs. They had numerous activities he could attend when he arrived. They keep their residents busy and entertained with bingo, movies, games, music and song-alongs, art projects and exercise classes. They have special spirit weeks and special events - casino nights and even a country-type event where they brought in goats. They celebrate Veteran's Day and had a Mardi Gras party. Countless activities to keep their minds and bodies engaged. When my dad became too ill to leave his room, they made sure to bring the entertainment to him. He passed last week at 95 and Alyssa brought a visiting violinist to his room to play his favorite songs for him. Another key difference at Wellmore is their staffing. Unlike some other facilities where our parents stayed, Wellmore was staffed to be able to respond to him when he needed help. We counted, and between bringing his food, medications, and meeting his other needs, he could have someone in his room at least a dozen times a day. I wish I could single out the names of all the people who went above and beyond but there are too many. Keisha, Tyranna, Sharon, Alyssa, Kathy at the front desk, Virginia whose office was across the hall from his room - those are just a few of the many. Everyone we interacted with from a nursing, CNA, and administrative perspective was outstanding. They seem to enjoy their jobs and they work well together, and they stay incredibly busy with no complaints. Finally, you can learn a lot about a facility when they don't know you're listening. My dad had a habit of calling me on speaker and leaving his phone on his chest. On more than one occasion helpers came in and were kind and helpful not knowing I could hear their interactions. The Wellmore team took great care of our dad and we highly recommend them for your loved one.

The greatest asset at the Wellmore was the caring staff we encountered during my Dad's initial rehab after a femur break. PT Ma and OT Julius were gentle, professional, knowledgeable and very effective. Many of Dad's nurses and CNA's went beyond regular care; Andi, Keesha, Brent, Shakeitha, Holly, Sharon and Savannah. All took time to get to know him, help him stay motivated and feel cared for during a difficult time. Lorrie in admissions was lovely and so responsive to Dad's needs. My dad came from Maryland to attend this wonderful facility . From the beginning he was welcomed and taken great care of. Lorrie (our Angel) the Admissions Coordinator went above and beyond to getting my dad admitted at Wellmore. Many of our friends and relatives highly recommended the center and it did not disappoint. Julius- was the best at therapy- truly cares about his patients recovery. Extremely skilled and knowledgeable at his work, went out of his way to ensure my dad had exceptional therapy care. Kaitlyn the social worker was extremely responsive and took care of everything he needed in a timely fashion. We toured several places before choosing Wellmore at Tega Cay for our mother with late stage dementia in early 2022. Wellmore has provided such a positive experience for us. It gives us peace of mind that Mom is safe, well cared for, and treated with love and respect. The fact that Wellmore provides rehab, memory care, and skilled nursing in one facility has made transitioning between levels of care easier on her. The staff in all three areas have been excellent - dedicated, caring, and hardworking. The facility is beautiful and clean, the activities keep Mom active and engaged, and the food is delicious. My husband was admitted to Wellmore rehabilitation after a serious hospital stay as a result of Parkinson's disease. We received a calm, caring and organized approach to our stay. Our questions were answered in a timely fashion and we were never made to feel that we were "bothering" anyone with our questions. Even if I could not be there to ask a question or check on the status of my husband, they would respond by text or phone. I felt I was always in touch of those caring for my husband. I felt connected even when I was not there which gave me a huge sense of peace of mind. This is a caring establishment that meets the needs of the family as well as the resident. Tega was amazing with my mom's hip replacement. She stayed in their care for three weeks and had such a positive experience. The nursing staff was attentive without being obnoxious, timely, and over all positive people. The atmosphere they created helped keep my mom in good spirits during her recovery. The food they offered was better than almost any other rehab center we looked at and that was probably my mom's favorite part. All in all, I would totally recommend to friends and family and would use them again if the need requires

My grandma was left alone some days since she lives one hour away from my family and me. Her health started to decline and it was time to find a facility with exceptional care. Wellmore exceeded my expectations! I talked to her earlier this week and she mentioned she has found two new friends! My grandma said "it's nice to talk to someone on the phone but it's amazing to have a face to face conversation." I have had an overall good experience with the skilled nursing care for my loved one for about a year. The activities and entertainment offerings are strong, the transportation service is helpful, maintenance requests are tended to quickly, many of the CNAs and nurses are caring and good with the residents, the facility is attractive, rooms are cleaned often, complaints have been addressed reasonably, the menu options are usually a nice variety and tasty, and they keep my loved one clean and in fresh clothes. The salon also does a nice job. It's a tough job to care for people with disabilities and it's important for families to keep an eye on things. While no place is perfect and some staff, days, meals, and implementation of directions have been better than others, I'm skeptical that I could find a better situation. Customers need to be realistic about their expectations and the numerous challenges but two friends and I have all been generally satisfied with Wellmore's care of our loved one, all things considered.

Sarah the coordinator was beyond helpful in getting a bed assigned to my father and I was so grateful. I live right down the road in Tega Cay so I went every day (usually twice a day) to visit my father and the facility was always clean, bright and my father always well cared for. I would highly recommend this facility.

The exercise classes are wonderful as is the pool for the aqua aerobics. There is an onsite physical rehabilitation facility here as well. Ive had two family members there since not long after they opened. The entire experience has been fantastic. David and his team make all the difference. They really do care about the residents and that has been the primary factor in all decisions Ive seen regarding my family. The COVID stuff is the latest example. No cases outside of rehab which gets people from outside health care centers. Thats amazing but, to me, not surprising. The staff at Wellmore are dedicated to caring for their residents. They are a blessing to us and I cant say enough how much I appreciate what they do.

The absolute BEST experience one could possibly have was having my grandmother here at Wellmore of Tega Cay. Not only did they go above and beyond during my grandmothers year and a half stay, they continued to follow up with our family after she passed. Wellmore is not your typical Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Home! It is a bright, happy, beautifully decorated home! The food is out of this world, the residents are kept busy no matter what section of Wellmore they are in. It is a welcoming place and my number one love about Wellmore are the gardens the residents can go out and enjoy. Memory Care, Rehab, Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living, Wellmore of Tega Cay has it all covered. The nurses, CNAs, and even the doctors that make rounds are ALL genuine and treat EACH person equal. They truly take care of each resident and treat them each as their own family member.

UPDATE 5/25/19: Now that it has been 4 years later I wanted to update my review of WTC...I have worked at Wellmore of Tega Cay before the building was completed & opened for business. It is my unbiased opinion that WE have grown to be one of the leaders in the Healthcare Industry and still growing. I’ve been in Healthcare for MANY years and Wellmore of Tega Cay by far, hands down is the best place to work as wells as to bring your love ones to live & for care.
