Memory care needs to be shut down. Neglect is happening to the most vulnerable and everyone knows it-including leadership- [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed]. My father has been removed, but not before he was uncared for, walking around in urine and fece filled depends, not showered, unexplained black eyes and lacerations. Not to mention, deliberately being dehydrated- DHEC knows and I hope they shut you down. You all need to be fired because you’re all complicit. $7200 a month- to rob the very last bit of a dementia patients dignity.

Please do not be fooled by the sales pitch for memory care. Do not be fooled by the bougie appearance of the hall leading to memory care. The poor residents who live there receive very little care. They get a roof and food, some medications (not all), almost no showers/hygiene help, no housekeeping. Even with almost daily visitors, the basics were not done. They are prisoners with little to do but mill around aimlessly much of the time. The state of care in all of these facilities is deplorable and expensive. Staff turnover is high and there are too few of them to care for 30 residents. I could write a book. In fact, I did send a letter to the CEO. They don't care, no response from her. Just terrible. There is no living happening in this place, merely and barely existing with very little effort by the facility to improve the lives.

I have been the Executive Director for Harmony at Wescott for about 18 months now. This has been my most favorite community and company that I have worked for, hands down. Our leadership team is comparable to none, and each one truly cares for our residents and associates. Our industry may face challenges from time to time, but our community has pulled through and overcome each obstacle thrown our way. I can say, with complete honesty, that our residents and associates come first, and that our residents are happy to be home at Harmony. We are truly "Families Serving Families" and we cannot wait to serve yours!

These.people.are.amazing. Professionals, yes, but also warm, caring human beings. The team at Harmony helped my family through my dad's extremely difficult and often dramatic transition to Memory Care. I can't say enough about the way they supported us through the process. I am so grateful!

Harmony was a wonderful experience for my mother, Paula Stabenau. She loved all the wonderful people working there. The front desk staff, Evelyn, Terri. Maggie, Cassandra, Dee. She was very fond of all staff and was enjoying getting to know the new director Kaley Patterson. Thanks for all your kindness to our mother and to us the past week. Made a hard time a little easier.

My dad was at Harmony and I loved it so much when it was time, I moved my uncle to Harmony in the assisted living facility. He has a spacious studio apartment that is perfect for him. The staff is super friendly. It was like old home week for me when I got there. Everyone remembered me and I got hugs from the staff. You get a menu for meals as if you were in a restaurant and if nothing sparked your interest you can order "off menu". They have activities including therapy dogs that come to visit the residents every week! The residents need for nothing. If the staff can fulfill the request, they do. They are amazing. I actually can't wait until I need assisted living for myself. I know where I'm going! I love it here so much that I am going to be volunteering at Harmony.

Harmony at Westcott Plantation is a great place for assisted living and a retirement community on all levels that you need. I have been impressed every time that I have visited with the overall quality of the facility and all of the caring individuals involved. Harmony has it all and everything needed to have an excellent living and care situation.
