The pearl is absolutely wonderful! They go out of the way for staff and patients at this facility. We were blown away with how wonderful everyone is at the pearl! They made this experience for us so much easier knowing they had trusting people here. We are so grateful for the wonderful staff at the pearl and all they have done for us!!

This facility cared for my Grandma until her passing and is now caring for my Father. Thankful for their kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable staff each day! My Grandma LOVED her experience at The Pearl and my Father wanted to come to the Pearl over anywhere else when it was time for him to choose a facility. He is happy, healthy, and well cared for and we are so thankful for the staff at The Pearl for making it a safe space for him!

It has taken me many years to finally post a review here because it is very hard for me to put into words how much I love this community and how the staff has enriched and changed my fathers life. My dad, my hero and brave Alzheimers warrior, has been a resident of The Pearl at Five Forks since the day they opened their doors on February 13, 2017.Alzheimers is a such an awful disease, and it takes a special group of people to love and care for these residents in their current season of life. The people are The Pearls greatest asset. My father has such a better quality of life thanks to their love and care, and I have the greatest support system through their constant communication, guidance, and support. The Pearl is a family! They truly care about each individual and go above and beyond to care for their residents. They design activities that allow residents of all levels of the disease to engaged and feel special. There is always a lot of smiling and laughter when you walk down the halls at The Pearl.The current executive director is an amazing and positive person who truly loves the residents with her whole heart. It is her calling to work with this group and she has specialized in senior care for over 10 years. She does an excellent job communicating with family members with weekly emails and monthly newsletters. She is also just a phone call away any time there is a question or concern and is very responsive. The whole staff is! Her #1 goal is to keep everyone safe and taken care of, and that is very evident in the way she interacts with her residents, staff, and families. I cant imagine what they have had to deal with in this season of COVID-19, but they were nimble and adapted to the constant changes so quickly. Most importantly, they did everything they could to keep our loved ones healthy, safe, and loved while we couldnt be there due to safety protocolsI could go on and on, but I will end with this. I HIGHLY recommend The Pearl at Five Forks if you are looking for an excellent memory care home for a family member. Alzheimers is a journey and I am so thankful to have the support and love of this team joining me every step of the way. My dad gets to live his last years with so much dignity surrounded by so much love…..and I get to witness this amazing group of caregivers who are truly angels walking this earth, pour their hearts and souls into caring for this special population.

The Pearl is truly a top notch memory care living facility. Its a newer building with particularly nice , thoughtful features. Its clean, never has a weird smell and is comfortably furnished for the residents. Its secure, the staff does a great job monitoring the comings and goings of visitors...but also the double entry card system makes it particularly safe and keeps the wanderers in. The activities are varied ...live music is often occurring, arts and crafts, outdoor trips...all done with supervision and care. The meals are freshly prepared and are tasty...and snacks are constantly being offered. The staff though, are where they really excel. My Mom has resided here for over 2 years now, and most all the core admin and key staff are the same . That speaks volumes. The team work and family atmosphere they create are special. They are genuinely nice people and Im so grateful for them.

I think the Pearl at Five Forks is a wonderful community. This building is designed for those with memory issues. The building creates an environment where residents can maintain independence without hindering their safety. As a senior living professional, I was very impressed with the design of the building. I am also impressed that Phoenix Senior Living provides Certified Dementia Practitioner Training for all employees- not just care staff. This training and knowledge is VITAL to the success of the community. The Pearl does an excellent job of meeting residents where they are in their disease stage. Overall, I would give the pearl 10 stars if I could. Thanks to all who make it a great place to live and work.

I put my husband in the Pearl at Five Forks in April of this year. I have dealt with at least 3 other Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, facilities with my parents and aunt. I have had a good experience at the Pearl at Five Forks, with the management team and most of the aids. My husband is adjusting well and is content. No place is perfect, and there are issues that can be improved on, with any facility. The Pearl is identifying and working on many areas and always willing to listen and act. It is a beautiful place and should be one for your consideration, if you have a loved one dealing with dementia or Alzhiemers. This is a growing problem in the world today, and we are still learning and being educated on treatment, identification, cause and prevention. It is comforting to me to know my husband is as content as he can be for what he is going through.

The Pearl has been the answer to our prayers! We are very grateful to have found this place for our father who has challenging issues with dementia.The staff really shows love for the residents; every body is skilled and ready to care for the needs of each person in a one-on-one aproach. They go above and beyond to make each resident feel important and cherished.The place is beautiful with a resort-like setting, carefully designed to meer the unique needs of memory care residents.Overall, their kindness, compasionate and professional care is the most important about The Pearl!

My mother lived at The Pearl for the last months of her life.It has some great qualities. The staff is terrific! They are all very caring and loving. The facility is bright, clean and inviting. The food is good. There is always something for the residents to do. The rooms are bright and private bathrooms are large.However, the rooms do not have phone jacks. It was suggested we get a cell phone docking station to plug Moms amplified phone into. This seemed like an adequate solution. I live 1,500 miles from Greenville and a phone was a must.During my last visit with my mother we had an emergency in her room and could not get help. Her call button wasnt being answered. The emergency pull in the bathroom wasnt working. (They fixed it the next day.) AND cell service to her room was down. (Unfortunately cell service was often down.)If we had it to do over again, we would have found a place for Mom that had a landline jack in the room. By the time we knew what a problem it was, she was enjoying her new home at The Pearl and it would have been very confusing for her if she moved to a different place.
