My Mother has been at Keowee Square about two years and I cannot say enough about the helpful and kind staff. The building and grounds are clean and maintained. Activities are offered to the residents and the community is invited to take part several times a year.

This is an AMAZING community!! It becomes clear immediately that Heather, Christine and the rest of the staff truly have a heart for their residents. Not only is this an exceptionally beautiful community, but the residents are shown so much love, respect, dignity and compassion. Keowee Square is more of a FAMILY atmosphere. When you walk through the doors you are greeted with smiling faces. You can tell the staff takes great care of their Residents. The Community is clean and friendly.

For 5 1/2 years my family member has been a resident of Keowee Square. During this time, my heart has been touched by the love and compassion of staff members, not only to the residents but also to family members. Led by Sabrina, each one on staff sincerely cares for the residents and treats them with dignity and respect. The homey atmosphere lends itself to comfort and is always clean and inviting. I am very grateful to each one for the kindness and love which has always been shown to my family member and to me.

My dad has been at Keowee Square now for one year this April 3, 2024. He is very happy, content, and feels very safe here. All the staff at Keowee Square are very friendly, helpful, sweet, fun, respectful, and, of course, professional. They treat my dad with kindness, compassion, love . . . they treat him like family. I come see my dad 4“5 times a week and I only live 10 minutes away. I love the staff here, and they treat me with the same kindness, love, and professionalism as my dad. I really do feel like I am part of their family as well. My dad has made very special friends (residents) as have I. I visited the Keowee Center and Amber gave me a tour. She patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Currently I am just looking around, getting ready for when my mom has to be placed. Amber spent a long time with me and I did not feel rushed at all. She took notes about Mom as we discussed her possible future care in the memory care portion of the center. I am very impressed with the center and hope to be able to place mom there when the time comes.

I visited Keowee Place on a day when they were honoring veterans. It was an extremely touching ceremony and one which clearly moved the hearts of those being honored. I watched the loving interactions of the staff as they seated residents in the dining room for lunch and when they passed them in the hallways slipping them a hug as we passed by on our tour of the building. I watched the interactions with executive staff and nursing care and was surprised by the ease with which they worked together. A lovely room in a high end facility with multiple activities, can appear to be "the place" for your loved one. Do not be deceived by glitz. Look for the deeper attributes: caring staff who work as a team.

My mother in law has been at Keowee Place for couple of months now and we could not ask for a better experience. She is happy, encouraged to engage in daily activities, well fed, and above all well taken care of. The staff has been amazing and feel more like family friends.
