What an experience… Once you see it you will love to leave your loved one here! Never a good decision to make but this place will help ease the pain knowing the staff really care about everyone here. The rooms are set uo like an efficiency so feels like an apartment. The whole place is designed in the shape of a square with rooms all surrounding an enclosed courtyard… very nice with lots of windows too. Meals are prepared for all and can be enjoyed together with other patrons! Lots of activities, including exercise, and music days. If there is a need check this place out ,you'll be very impressed!

This is an excellent assisted living facility for a family member. The staff is outstanding - many long-time employees, and everyone is pleasant and helpful. It's a safe place for a loved one.

The staff at Village Cove take very good care of their residents. They are always very helpful when I need to inquire about something for my sister who lives there. They provide many activities to help fill their days. It is a very pleasant environment. Thanks to all the staff!

The team of care providers at Village Cove have all been wonderful. The process of picking a loving community for Mom was a breeze due to the professionalism and courtesy of Jennifer Napolitano, Caroline Larimore and the entire staff. The room was meticulously painted, carpeting cleaned and prepared for the move-in date and Mom has been treated with respect and dignity every step of the way. Big John has been extremely helpful with every maintenance issue and Seconda has been vital with administrative duties encountered along the way. Congratulations to all for an exceptional experience for my dear Mother, Norma!

Jennifer Napolitano and her team of experienced care providers are fantastic. They have handled every part of the process with excitement, encouragement and support. Mom has been at Village Cove for about a week and she loves it. Caroline Larimore , Big John and Seconda have all pitched in to make mom feel at home and welcome. The entire transition has been smooth and pleasant. Village Cove is truly a wonderful community where everyone experiences warm and wonderful family care.

My mother has been a resident of Village Cove for the past year. Her apartment is the perfect size for her and the community is so welcoming and kind. She receives excellent care and the staff treats everyone with compassion and respect. They have truly become a part of our family. The director, Jennifer Napolitano, is AMAZING! She is so responsive to the needs of the residents and their families. I cannot give Village Cove enough stars! They have been wonderful!

I recently posted a negative review about Village Cove Assisted Living in Hilton Head Island, SC. Due to my review the Director of Operations, John Powell reached out to me. He spoke with me for nearly an hour. He listened to all of my concerns and comments. Mr. Powell is a total gentleman. He went out of his way to not only listen, but HEAR what I had to say. Mr. Powell resolved the issue to my satisfaction and I came away with a different point of view about Village Cove. Thank you Mr. Powell. Navion Senior Solutions is lucky to have you on board.

Please DON’T take a loved on to Village Cove “Assisted Living.” My family was between a rock and a hard place. Our 93 year old Mother fell, and broke her hip. To make matters so much worse, she lived 1,000 miles from us. We had no previous experience with locating the appropriate senior care facility. Our mother spent weeks in therapy at a rehab hospital. We spent those weeks flying back and forth to try to figure out how to proceed. The rehab hospital made ONE recommendation, Village Cove. In retrospect, that alone should have raised a red flag. It turned out that Village Cove was unable to provide the care our Mother needed as they promised they could. So, there must have been another reason the rehab facility recommended them. Guess what that was??? $$$$. Village Cove did NOT take the time to come to the rehab to do an appropriate, clinical/medical evaluation of our Mother. Ya know who did the evaluation to determine if our Mother was a viable candidate for assisted living?? The Village Cove sales rep. Our Mother was completely disabled physically, but yet the “professionals” at Village Cove determined that she was ok for assisted living and did not need skilled nursing. Once again, guess what that decision was based on?? In my opinion and after what we experiencing, it has to be based on $$$$$$ and not what they could actually provide. Our Mother was at Village Cove for a total of 5 nights before she had to be rushed to the hospital. She never returned. In the span of those 5 days at Village Cove, our Mother was neglected. She was forced to lay, disabled in soaking wet bandages for 4 days. The beds sheets also became soaked. The first night her call button was not working, so she was unable to call for help when she needed it. I could go on, but I hope you get the idea. As for the $$$$$ issue: we gave Village Cove a large sum of upfront money in good faith. Another terrible mistake. For the 5 nights of neglect, they kept over $5,500.00 and refused ti give us a fair and just refund. To make it worse, we contacted the CEO of Village Cove Parent Company, Navion Senior Solutions numerous times to make him aware of the neglect our Mother suffered at Village Cove. He never once afforded our family the courtesy of any type of reply. PLEASE, TAKE MY ADVICE: reconsider if you are thinking about taking a loved on to Village Cove in Hilton Head Island, SC.

Our family paid a month in advance for my mother in law but she only spent 5 days here. She was left with soaked bandages unchanged for 4 days and her call button did not work. We removed her from this horrible place after 5 days and they refuse to refund us. Numerous attempts to talk to someone have failed. We have filed complaints with all the state agencies. Never recommend this place

TERRIBLE. We made a terrible mistake bringing my 93 year old Mother to Village Cove. We were lied to, cheated out of money, deceived and worst of all, our Mother was neglected. The staff allowed her-no, actually forced her-to lay in bed for 4 days with totally drenched bandages on her legs. It was so bad that the bed sheets became drenched and no one did anything about it. When I learned of this issue and the neglect, I contacted Village Cove. Here’s what I was told:”our Med Techs don’t change bandages.” Just think about that. A senior care facility that “doesn’t change bandages” and forces their residents to lay in a drenched bed. There was so much more in such a short period of time-after 5 days at Village Cove it became necessary for my Mother to be transported to a hospital ER via ambulance. In good faith we paid Village Cove a whole lot of money up front. My Mother did not return to Village Cove after the hospitalization. Village Cove refused to give us a fair refund. Bottom line: Village Cove was unable to provide the care my mother needed, but yet they admitted her so they could take and keep our money. My recommendation: think long and hard before you take a loved on to Village Cove.

This community consists of a staff that is not only caring, but also upbeat, positive, & attentive. I would recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for an assisted living home for their loved one.

The Village Cove management and staff provided caring support as Mom transitioned from an out of state assisted living facility to her new home in November 2019. Everyone has worked hard to keep her safe, healthy and happy before and during the challenging COVID times. Kudos to All of Moms Heroes.

Team was highly recommended by locals who work in the industry and low behold they were great to work with moving my dad into his new home. My mother was a resident for a year and a half before her passing. When it became evident that I could no longer care for my 87 yr old father I didnt hesitate to move him in with their caring friendly staff.
