The Retreat at Carolina Bay is a top notch assisted living and memory care facility. It is very well kept, organized, safe, and has a positive vibe as soon as you walk in the door. The employees are always so friendly and welcoming. They are very professional and courteous. Ive seen first-hand the excellent care they provide the residents. The medical care and attention to detail is as close to perfect as you can get. They dont treat them as residents, but more like family. The activities and events are interactive and keep the residents involved. I can truly see how each resident is getting the best experiences, best care, and best quality of life living at The Retreat.

Having a loved one at The Retreat who is in her early sixties presented the facility with a unique circumstance. The staff at The Retreat rose to meet her diverse needs in a loving and compassionate way. It didnt take long for our loved one to adapt to her new home and her extended family at The Retreat. She has been respectfully cared for as far as her physical needs are concerned but she has also been loved. The staff at The Retreat go all out to get to know each resident as an individual and then taylor their outings, programs and entertainment to meet their particular likes and interests.

I love the Retreat at Carolina Bay. I enjoy working with all of the Residents. Most of all I enjoy seeing and talking with all the friendly people but the Human Resource lady stands out most to me for she is there and loves what she Is doing with the Residents all the time. She is great with staff also. She will make you laugh on the worst day.

It was through Gods grace and many prayers that we were fortunate enough to get this wonderful facility in our home town, Hartsville, SC . Our family has been thoroughly blessed with the level of care and attention that our loved ones are receiving. The staff has embraced our entire family and precious parents with love and compassion. My sister lives at The Retreat at Carolina Bay in Hartsville in the Memory Care. She is doing wonderful, has made a complete turn around since moving to The Retreat. The level of care and compassion is outstanding. The staff is amazing always upbeat and smiling. The food is also delicious. I am very pleased and thankful to The Retreat at Carolina Bay.
