Wesley Commons has been a staple in Greenwood for over 40 years. I’ve had several close family members that have lived there and every one of them loved the lifestyle they were provided. I can’t tell you how much Wesley Commons has impacted not only their lives but also the lives of all the family. It’s comforting to know that Wesley Commons is more concerned about the well being of their residents than cash flow. They’ve worked closely with our family to make sure they were taken care of and we never had to worry.

As a former employee of Wesley Commons my husband and I always knew that one day we wanted to live here. Having recently moved in, we can't help but be amazed at the many new opportunities and amenities that have been added since my retirement 13+ years ago. They do an outstanding job with renovations, maintenance and service to their residents. The residents come from all walks of life, all parts of the country, and are not only involved in volunteer activities at Wesley Commons, but also reach out to the Greenwood community in general. The Rehabilitation Center was absolutely fantastic! Grant Reagan and the rest of the staff made transitioning and out of the facility a breeze. The staff gets to know each client and cares for their needs with the highest of standards. Grant Athens entire staff made it feel like home. My mother spent the last 10 months of her life at Wesley Commons and words will not do for how thankful my family is for this place and their amazing team. This type of work is hard. It is difficult. You will not please everyone everyday. Still the team at WC brings love, commitment and compassion to their residents every single day. We love each of and we are so thankful for the tough job you do everyday.

Way too expensive. They ask you $55k as deposit. That is insane. Unless you live poorly all your life to make a fortune as savings, this place is just not affordable at all.

Independent living housing is in poor condition. There has been NO preventative maintenance in decades. The administration offers nothing but excuses for problems and blames past employers for poor conditions. Staff in independent living are gracious to residents, but supervisors span of control is too large. There is a tremendous amount of inefficiency here and as a result ineffectiveness in operations. CEO talks down to residents then avoids issues. Residents have no say, even through the resident council. Millions are being spent on new construction, but what is already here is decades old and poorly managed. They don't take care of what is already here. New blood in the executive office is badly needed. Marketing presents great images, but CONSUMER BEWARE!
