The director and all staff members that we met during the tour and admission process were confident, professional, and upbeat. They made me believe that they are prepared to meet every need for my Father's care.

The staff has always been so welcoming from the time I walk in the front door. Jannon goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are taken care of. She is in close communication with the nurse practitioner and home health agency they partner with to address any concerns in order to provide the best care for the residents.

From the moment you walk in, it's clear that the staff genuinely cares for the residents. The environment is warm, welcoming, and feels like home. The team is attentive and goes above and beyond to meet the unique needs of each individual. They create engaging activities that help keep residents active and involved, and the facility itself is always clean and well-maintained. If you're looking for a memory care facility that offers compassion, professionalism, and peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Y’all are AWESOME! Mother moved in Thursday. Got a text on how well she ate supper, today I got a picture of a BIG smile (don’t remember last time I saw that!), and tonight a group of us came to celebrate mom’s 90th birthday in the ice cream shop. Truly a blessing for her, my dad, and all the family! C Presnell

Every place has its pros and cons but I will say working here during the company change, has been interesting in a good way. The New company is striving and pushing to transition the building for the better. I can see all the changes for example moving from paper to computer, gathering a great team of people who sees the bigger picture and who cares for the members. It’s a good place to work. And the new management strives to push what’s needed to make the building, employees, and members better. I see great things for the oaks, looking forward to the future with place

My mother was placed at Oaks at Chanticleer in February 2022. It was difficult finding a place that fit her individual needs. But then we found Oaks at Chanticleer. In the beginning it was hard for me. I cared for my Mother 24/7 for 7 years. I struggled. But not because of the place, the staff or the love and respect they give her. She is cared for in every way. The staff is great, I have never had any bad things to say about Oaks at Chanticleer. Everyone is is so nice. It's a blessing to have found somewhere that you don't have to worry about your loved ones.

The staff at The Haven have cared for my Grandfather for the past year...I appreciate all the love & care he has received. Initially we had a hard time deciding where he would live after he was diagnosed with ALZ. A close friend of mine mentioned The Haven...and I'm so thankful he did because the place isn't just a after thought or a building with a locked door. It's a home with a giving staff that pays attention to so many things. I don't know if you've read about this awful disease but I promise you it can be very difficult at times and knowing your loved one is being well taken care of means everything! My Grandfather is one of a kind & every day they make sure he knows that!

I toured the facility for my father a little of a year and half ago. I chose another facility for financial reasons and ended up regretting it within a couple of months. I ended up moving my dad to The Haven and have had no regrets. The other facility kept him sedated to manage his behaviors. He had no quality of life, could not walk, sat in a chair all day. He has been a completely different since moving to the Haven. Different medications, he walks again, attends therapy and is loved. My only regret is that I did not choose the Haven first.

Molly, Jenna, Amy, wellness director and especially the nursing staff in Charleston are simply outstanding. They are kind, professional, patient and top notch. My only suggestion is for their day care program (which is marvelous) is that they start earlier like 8:00 am for those caregivers that still work. 9-5 is tough for those of that work and employers have a hard time understanding an employee only working from 9:30 until 4:30. The facility is really great.

I would like to take this time to speak of the wonderful employees of The Haven. I was employed there for a few years and always believed that as long as it was God's will for me to be there, I would. I also knew that when it was time for my next journey, I would have to move on. During my time there, we did face challenges as all places do, but the team is nothing less than AWESOME!. Dementia is a unfortunate disease BUT with the special people there, the residents are able to have the best possible quality of life. The new RSD, Michael is awesome and an extremely valuable asset to the community. His knowledge and dedication speaks volumes. Dietary Director, Wanda, is also awesome. She works hard to follow the assigned menus provided by the corporation in order to meet state requirements. She goes above and beyond working sometimes weeks without a day off. Amy, Marketing Director not only maintain awesome relationships within the community, she is ALWAYS willing to roll up her sleeves and do what is needed for the well-being of the residents. Activity Director, Heather, is always working hard to keep residents with Alzheimer's and related dementia engaged. That task by no means is easy, it is probably the most challenging ever! Molly, Business Office Manager, is top notch. She is very smart, eager to learn, and is always willing to go above and beyond. Each and every Resident Aide, Medication Aide, Dietary Aide, and Housekeeper is awesome and loves the residents in the community. I call that PRICELESS!
