My mother, Bertha Uptegrove Cole, was a resident of Morningside of Georgetown for the final 15 years of her life. She was treated like a queen by the staff and fellow residents. She loved the staff and they loved her. Her various healthcare needs were faithfully addressed. Everyone treated Bertha's family members with respect and affection. Bertha loved living there, and her children frequently expressed their gratitude to various members of the staff. Our Morningside experience exceeded our expectations in many ways.

In a word -- INCREDIBLE!! Our most precious gifts, our parents; have been blessed to be living in the Morningside community in Georgetown, SC. During the most challenging times in our lives, God led us to this most loving and caring community to be our parents new home.From the first phone call with Kristen and Catherine, I knew this was the perfect residence for our beloved parents. After going to Morningside of Georgetown for a 2 week respite, my mom decided to become a resident because she loved it. The transition was easy due to everything she needed was readily available and in a loving environment...no more cooking or cleaning...just enjoying life. Even after COVID everyone was safe and still were having fun. Our family was blessed to know a place like Morningside exists.

My mother had her bags packed the day the doctor said Maybe an assisted living facility She knew where she wanted to be and she hasnt looked back. The staff are our family! We love them and love the fact that we know our mom is taken care of. Best of the Best!

My mother has been at Morningside of Georgetown for 6 months now. It was difficult for her to leave her house and enter assisted living but the competent and caring staff warmly welcomed her and she quickly adjusted to her new home. She has her own furniture in her lovely apartment and she never has to worry about taking care of it as it is cleaned daily by staff. The closets are huge and easily accommodate a large chest and her numerous belongings. She enjoys the numerous activities and often raves about the meals. As a daughter, I dont have to worry about my elderly mother because I know she is receiving the best care at Morningside of Georgetown.

My mother has been a resident at Morningside of Georgetown since April. She made the decision to move there after suffering a stroke. She loves it! They have taken such good care of her-and I mean ALL of the staff! She will tell you that she doesn’t have to do a thing, she should have moved there a long time ago. Even though so much is done for her, she is more social and active than she was before she moved in. She thoroughly enjoys the activities and the food. Her suite includes a sitting area, bedroom, bathroom and a huge closet which she loves. She also has her own furniture which is very comforting to her. I have nothing but the best to tell you about Morningside. And my mother will tell you how much she loves and enjoys it too!!!

Momma decided beforehand that she would stay at Morningside shpuld she not be able to stay at home. It was the best decision we made as a family . They all treat her like shes family. We couldnt ask for better care

They are great! I like most people was very upset with my mom going into assisted living thinking I was neglecting my mother. My brothers seemed to know better than I what was best for mom. I want say going thru this has been easy but as time goes by I have learned that the staff are very professional and caring. This was the best thing for mom if any of you are thinking about looking for help with your parents and not knowing which direction to go. Thank you Morningside staff for all you do for her.

My mother has been at Morningside for 4 months. She has her own very nice, comfortable apartment and stays busy with all the scheduled activities every day. She is much more active there than she was at home. She loves all the ladies (and gentleman) who help her throughout the day and always enjoys the meals. We visit frequently and have enjoyed getting to know the kind and caring employees. We feel very confident that she is getting the best care.

There is simply no other facility of this quality to be found in this are. The facility is top quality! My grandmother has been in Morningside since January 1st and her progress is amazing. She has gone from a wheelchair to a walker and is so much more active. The facility is spotless and elegant and my grandmothers care is without criticism. I am at peace to know she is safe and happy.
