My sister has been at Riverside Health and Rehab center for the last six months, recovering from a broken right femur. I have noticed that the staff there are incredibly professional, kind, caring and compassionate. They’re always going above and beyond to provide the necessary treatments and engage the residents in activities to lift their spirits. They do this as much as they can, often under challenging conditions like limited staff and funding. I truly admire their dedication and we are so grateful for everything they do. P. Adams

I visited this facility and they really really care for their patients and staff all the way around and I can vouch for that..Excellence care and excellent Ot /physically therapy all around .Building is clean and snacks are supplied.supplys,diapera,wipes all supplied..very very recommended

If I had a choice I would never have chosen this place. The food is so so. I never see any activities going on. All of his clothes are missing so he is now in a hospital gown. He is missing his $700 wheelchair that I bought him. It has been 2 weeks and no answer from Riverside. He is now totally bedridden so who knows what kind of care he is getting.....Not much.... guaranteed. This place has some serious issues. Not enough staff and missing items. I can't move him because of his health. Be aware if you are going to place a family/friend in this place.

The staff at this facility are all very knowledgeable and so helpful! Everything is clean and the residents all seem happy. The staff does really fun activities with the residents and does a great job involving everyone. 100% would recommend this facility

I had very good experience from the CNA, Nursing and the therapy department also activities department. They really care about they resident .it's a great improvement with the staff.

Riverside health and rehabilitation did a fantastic job taking care of me. The food was alright and the nursing care Was good. I loved The activities department. I loved playing Bingo. –

It was so nice to see the residents and staff come together today to enjoy the Riverside luau. Laughter, music and food was shared by all. Such a happy vibe.

My dad was here for 5 months. I felt that he was taken care of better than anywhere else he had been. He spent some time at Oakbrook Rehab and Hallmark, both in Summerville. After a bad UTI and going to MUSC, he was transferred to Riverside. I decided it was worth the drive to leave him there until I could get him into the veterans home in Florence because he was well taken care of and the staff was always so nice. Plus Mr. Hymes in social services was a God send. They are probably understaffed and are doing the best they can but let me tell you, after having my dad in 2 other skilled nursing centers, 1 assisted living home, as well as Summerville medical and MUSC, in comparison, he received much better attention at Riverside.

This facility has made some improvements, updates, and hired some new employees. They are striving to do their best during the pandemic to keep their residents safe and secure. There are some great employees who love the residents and put them first.

I called to speak with a patient and was told maintenance fix phones. This phone has been inoperable for over two weeks. It appears as if patient care is secondary and well being of patients who rely on this facility is secondary. Perhaps phones are inoperable to control patient's contact without and what is being said about facility

This is my second time coming back I got sick with the Covid I came back to get stronger because the Covid took everything out of me but my DON Trevor he is a good soul
