I always enjoy visiting this community. There’s such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and you can truly feel the care and intention behind everything they do. One of my favorite things is seeing the residents’ artwork from their monthly Paint & Vino displayed in the common areas”it’s so special to see their creativity showcased for everyone to enjoy. I love coming back and seeing the new pieces they’ve created each month. It’s a beautiful reminder that this is more than a place to live; it’s a place where people are encouraged to express themselves and thrive.

Our family recently went through the difficult transition of moving my father into assisted living, and Anchor Bay made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel calm, respectful, and humane. My family and I made the excruciating decision to have our mom move to a memory care assisted living community this past spring. We never thought we would have to make this choice. Anchor Bay was highly recommended to us and we feel very lucky to have her under excellent care at the East Providence location. The move in process was made easy by Sean and Opie. She is in an environment that is safe, full of other people and with lots of activities. Of course she will sometimes say she wants to go back home, but then again she used to say that when she lived at home. Her new home is safe and engaging. We are also grateful to the director of the facility David & Head Nurse Stephanie for going above and beyond to ensure our mom is getting what she needs. The facility is beautiful on the inside, the food is good and it’s in a wonderful location with lots of spots for fun lunch adventures & walks. Thank you to the team at Anchor Bay East Providence for making the most important person in our life feel safe & loved.

In late summer we had to place my mother in law in memory care. This was a difficult process emotionally, not to mention paperwork-wise and logistically. We had toured several facilities in advance of her placement for when the time came, and Anchor Bay was always where we hoped she'd end up. We couldn't be more grateful to Sean Ledford - he's the Director of Sales and Marketing but really wears more hats than that - he was our main point of contact for getting the room squared away, the intake paperwork, answering all of our questions. He has always been patient and very responsive - updating doctors as they have been finalized with her moving states, etc. The move in and weeks after were a hard adjustment for our family. We were told by key staff members to trust the process and were given a timeline to set our expectations. Selfishly we thought our case was different, but now that we are past that estimated timeline we realize they were absolutely right. My mother in law is thriving at Anchor Bay with a solid routine, healthy meals, assisted care for showering... she is SAFE, and she is close by so we get to see her often. The staff on the memory care floor always knows how she is doing, what local trips she has been on and what sort of day she is having when we visit. We come at different times of day, and this is consistently the case. The receptionists and the activities director Shiela are special people, and this is a very well-kept facility with a beautiful view of Hundred Acre Cove. This is never an easy transition, but if you have to make it, this is a lovely place to do it. Not overwhelming in size, and you really get to know people once you are a part of the community.

Director Sean and the entire team are amazing. As anyone knows that’s gone through it, the process of moving anyone into assisted living is difficult at best. I recently had to quite quickly move my Uncle into a Memory Care facility. Several resources that I consulted suggested Anchor Bay East Providence. This was the 4th facility that I had visited, it was the farthest and I thought I had settled on an earlier facility. DO NOT MAKE YOUR FINAL DECISION without at least talking to Sean and taking a look at ABEP. It felt like Sean and team lifted the burden, shouldered it for ~ and the facility is beautiful. Sean helped me through every step of the process to include helping me determine how I would speak to my uncle about the transition. Thank you ABEP

He was great about staying in touch...not pushy at all but appropriately communicative. Every other member of the team with whom we met were also extraordinarily nice and helpful. At the end of the day, my mom wasn't ready to make the move but I am very grateful for all the understanding and compassion shown to my family.

My mom moved into Anchor Bay of East Providence at a time of unexpected need. The timing of Sean's call was simply a divine intervention. We had toured the facility earlier but not quite sure of next steps for mom's care. Sean's call to us came at exactly the right time. His authenticity, kindness, understanding and warmth welcomed us like a homecoming. He went above and beyond on helping us to get mom moved in and settled into memory care. Sean certainly is the conduit to a successful transition and many times following the move in. Mom completely lights up each time Sean is in her presence. Once moved into memory care, mom's transition was eased by Ope's gentle loving care. We are deeply indebted to her for creating a safe refuge for our mom. Ope intuitively knew how to make mom feel comfortable and loved. She gave mom a purpose for being, inviting her to be her "assistant" and dancing partner to name a few ways Ope embraced and encouraged mom. The sheer join on mom's face and in her heart is priceless watching her in Ope's presence. Ope not only gained mom's trust but our family could finally "breathe" knowing Ope ALWAYS has mom's best interest at heart. A novel could be written on her unwavering care and support of mom. Amanda, is also another gem in this organization. Loving and caring for mom like her own family. A huge thank you to Juliet, for being the kind welcoming greeter when entering the facility. Juliet is a gift to Anchor Bay and all who have the privilege to cross paths with her. She makes all things well with her gentle understanding. April, the director is a skilled listener with a strength in reflecting articulately the message. She has an amazing ability to connect with families around various topics. She objectively endeavors to support all. Anchor Bay is fortunate to have all of these folks on board. The entire staff is always friendly, helpful, and caring no matter the situation. They are truly special people and have given my family peace of mind.

Anchor Bay at Greenwich has been such a wonderful experience. From high management, cnas, maintenance, kitchen staff, direct care workers, and the front desk all have been great. During this very challenging transition of moving my father into memory care Anchor Bay was very supportive. The activities and events on the floor are well thought out and inclusive of all needs. My father was reluctant to participate at first and now I’m seeing he’s participating in many of the activities. I feel so relieved that I can trust in Anchor Bay for the care of my father during his most vulnerable time.

I hope this is the right page to leave reviews for the Anchor bay in Providence. I was there visiting my great aunt last week, when I was walking through the place with her everyone was so wonderful. A staff person, who I was later told is the nursing supervisor Brook was dancing with one of my aunt's neighbors, later my aunt told me that after her neighbor passed away the same nurse came to tell her the next day, and sat with her awhile to offer support. Kim at the desk was also very cheerful and warm with the patients. I'm not local, and because of my work I have been in many care homes but I can say that nearly a week later I still am very reassured that my aunt is in such great, and fun hands.

This is such a cozy and beautiful community. It's Natural setting makes it a perfect place to view wildlife ( I saw a Baltimore Oriole for the 1st time in years during my visit), and to engage in gardening pursuits. Resident engagement opportunities abound in both assisted living and memory support, with individual talents being honored and highlighted. Each resident I spoke with told me that they love living life at anchor Bay at East Providence

I want to thank Mary for always listening to my concerns about my mom and going above and beyond in providing her care. An exampleone evening before putting my mom to bed, I noticed swelling in her hands and was concerned about her wedding band becoming stuck on her finger. I told Mary about the swelling and asked if the nurse could be alerted in the morning about the swelling. On my way home, Mary called to say she checked on my mom, saw the swelling, and went ahead and removed the ring and locked it up for me to pick up. I so appreciated Mary’s act of kindness.

I cannot express my gratitude to Ashley, Paige and the team at Anchor Bay! My mother just moved there, and she is well-cared for, emotionally and physically. They are on it! The process of getting her there was a long one for me. I checked out several assisted living communities. Anchor Bay was the first visit. I loved it there. I kinda wanted to move in!!! My family members and mother expressed wanting to keep my mother in the town she was in, but honestly, at this time, I had to make her closer to me to oversee her care, and Anchor Bay is 15 minutes from my home. After much consideration, I went with my gut. I chose Anchor Bay, and I'm so glad I did. The sense of relief I have in knowing that my beloved mum is safe and cared for is something inexplicable. She has cared for me my whole life, and now it's my turn to watch over her. This was the best choice. Thank you to everyone at Anchor Bay! Rock stars!!!!!

We worked closely with the staff at Anchor Bay during our exploration of options for a family member. The staff all went above and beyond with their customer service, and I really got a sense that they are more like a big family than just a community. Even after our family member made the decision to go elsewhere (for personal reasons unrelated to the quality of care at Anchor Bay), Ashley remained an active resource for both assistance and emotional support, which really made a great impression. If you're juggling with options for assisted living or memory care for your loved one, take it from someone who has done extensive research on all of the facilities in the area; Anchor Bay is by far the best selection. If you are looking for someone who will care your loved one and understand the importance of family, look no further. Ashley and the admission team at Anchor Bay have gone above and beyond for us. Ashley is one of the most compassionate people I have only met over the phone/email. Deciding to move your parent out of their home that they have lived in for over 25 years to an assisted living community is a very difficult situation. Throw in the times of covid and you have an emotional and logistical nightmare!
