My mother lived with me but was unable to care for herself.. i couldn't lift her. This place looked great. It was hard to reach any nurses station to ask about my mother though. No one answered.. My mother was on hospice there. It was during Covid. I sensed my mother was near death and begged them to let me up. I got to see her on a Fri and a Mon then she passed. None of my brothers got to see her. The facility knew she was really going downhill and didn't tell us. She died alone.

I read the reviews and was not favorably impressed. My Aunt was transferred there several days ago and on the second day there, when I called she indicated she could not get anyone to help her to the bathroom. I called, informed staff of the situation and left home to visit. I live in Delaware. Arriving I conferred with the front staff and after being screened was informed I would not be able to see my Aunt. I was a bit disturbed as I had phoned earlier, telling staff I was on my way and was not told I could not visit. Unit Supervisor Gail was called to talk with me. She was pleasant and professional, stressing Covid 19 protocols and the 14 day quarantine. I left, annoyed and anxious about my Aunt's condition. I called her from my car to find a calm, content patient. She indicated that she had been well attended, fed and was resting comfortably. If she was happy, so was I. In formed her I would call her twice each day to check on her. The following morning I called and she was in "physical therapy" and cheerful! So far I am satisfied and my fears (based upon reading the reviews) have been eased Thank you, W Tayl

Very organized, very professional ,and dedicated CNA''s LPN''s Nurse's, Dietary Aids to Housekeeping. Good pay, plenty of overtime if you want. Another great thing is they pay for you to further your education. LPN..... If you were to go back to school on your own terms with out the help of ManorCare, they will reimburse you the cost of furthering your education. Not many facilities have that option. So this is a good place to work. I appreciate it. For me it's a blessing.

I was a patient on the TSU unit after bilateral total knee replacement surgery. I was unfamiliar with the agency so I looked it up on google. I was horrified when I saw the negative comments. I even had nightmares. Because my insurance only approved Manor Care and one other place I resolved to go there and make the best of it. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I was met at the door by the assistant administrator. She escorted me and the ambulance attendant to the unit. The staff on the unit greeted me and made me feel comfortable and welcome. The room was neat and clean. The next day I met the PT and OT staff. They were excellent. I went to the gym and it was very professional. I can tell you that I do not think I could have received better care anywhere. I know that some people are upset when they here the term nursing home as was I. That being said Manor Care staffing was excellent. I noticed how they work together as a team to provide the best care. I achieved my goals and was able to walk out and return home. I am great full for the Care I received. I want to say to people that are considering placement at Manor Care there is always a mechanism for your concerns to be addressed. Every day the unit manager asked me is everything all right. How are you being treated. Do you have any complaints. I did not but I know that if I had any they would have been addressed. Thank you for listening.
