Floral Creek Alzheimer's Special Center is a very great place. Their staff is very welcoming. Crystal the admin is awesome as well. She knows how to care for her patients and provide the right continuity of care as well. I would highly recommend my family member to live here. Make sure you go and check the community out.

I would highly recommend Floral Creek to anyone who needs to place their loved one in memory care. My advice is don't wait for a crisis to happen to find a local care facility. Research and visit places in advance. We went to about 5 local facilities and walked out of Floral Creek knowing this was the place! We met with Michelle, who is the Community Resource Director. She was so kind and made us feel very welcome. She even allowed my Dad to come as a guest to participate in some of the activities before he was admitted. This was tremendously helpful in getting him to transition to being a resident. We told him Floral Creek was a local Senior Center and that there were activities he could attend. He went a few times to listen to live music and attend some social activities and snacks. Once we actually had to move him in, it was at least somewhat familiar to him. Floral Creek has some people working there who are literally angels on Earth! The Director, Crystal is absolutely amazing! We placed my Dad in December 2022 and Crystal joined in February 2023 and we quickly saw the significant impact of her efforts. Crystal has so many amazing ideas to keep the residents engaged. What I love about Floral Creek is that they truly try to give the residents enjoyment and fulfillment in their lives. It's not just about living out their final days it's about making the most of these years despite their dementia. Crystal has brought in so many new activities, initiated bus/sightseeing trips, monthly family events, weekly live music, an interactive table the residents can enjoy and so much more! Floral Creek has a FANTASTIC activities program! Colin is the Director and another angel on Earth! Colin is beyond amazing with the residents. He truly treats them as if they are his own grandparents. My Dad just loves Colin! He is patient, kind, creative and an amazing singer! The compassion and genuine care he gives to the residents just can't be expressed in words you just have to meet him! Amanda is the Director of Nursing and is also amazing! Being a nurse myself, I question everything and follow up on everything and Amanda is always happy to answer my never-ending questions and requests! She truly has her finger on the pulse of what is going on with each resident. I trust her nursing judgement completely. Trust me that is HIGH praise! Maggie and Rebecca are also great! One of the many things that sets Floral Creek apart is that there is a nurse on staff 24/7. Many other facilities will have a Med Tech. I don't mean to demean this role at all, but for me as a nurse, it is important for me to know a nurse is always on staff. When we go to visit, which is a lot, from the moment we walk in, we are greeted by Christine, the Concierge and she is just lovely! She treats the visiting family members as if you are a guest in her own home. She is so accommodating and helpful. Some of the aids are beyond amazing at Floral Creek! I really don't know how they do it. Washing people, dressing, feeding and taking care of some of the most basic activities of daily living that they can no longer do for themselves. I'm sure at times the residents may fight them or say cruel things (of course it's the disease talking). It takes a very special type of person to do this job and we appreciate them all so very much! So what does my Dad think about living at Floral Creek? Well, he came in on Hospice and was recently discharged from Hospice! He has gained 10 pounds since admission and is more alert and engaged. I really think all the activities are what have helped him. If he was home, he'd just be sitting in front of the TV. At Floral Creek there is so much going on during the day, he has a lot to do and to keep him busy. He stopped asking to go home after a couple of weeks and refers to his room as his "apartment". We know that Alzheimer's will continue to take things away from Dad, and as much as that breaks my heart, I know the staff at Floral Creek will help him and us through it.

My Family and I were so grateful to have found floral Creek for my Father. He spent his last few months of life there after being transferred from another local facility. We can't say enough about the staff. Extremely kind, compassionate, and caring. They treated my father like family with dignity and respect towards the end of his life. Special thanks to Amanda, Melanie,Maggie, Collin and all the aids that took care of Mr. Harvey. True professionals who really take pride in caring for others. Our only regret is that we did not find Floral Creek sooner.

Floral Creek is a hidden gem! We recently moved my mom into Floral Creek from another facility. Having a bad experience with the prior place my mom was at and coming into Floral Creek so nervous and unsure. They were amazing. They reassured us it would be okay. It's been just a few weeks and we couldn't be happier. The administration has been beyond helpful with this transition. Crystal,Michele Amanda go above a beyond to make you feel like family. The rest of the staff has been so welcoming and wonderful with my mom. They recently got an amazing interactive table called a Tovertafel. It's the only facility in Pennsylvania with this table. It is so amazing. I find when my mom is having a bad day and I go to visit we can sit and play in this table together and it really calms her down. I look forward to many years here with my mom. Thank you Floral Creek for being so kind and caring.

Although my husband was only there for a month, the care at Floral Creek met my expectations. He was cared for and accommodated as he declined rapidly. While on hospice I was able to sit with him in his room. I was able to listen to the staff's interactions with the residents and what I heard was singing and positive engagements. I noticed everyone worked together as a team to get the job done even if it wasn't part of their job description. From my first interaction with Katheryn to tour the facility, Christine at the front door who was offering help to everyone, and Heather singing with the residents, I knew it was the right place for my husband. The food was tasty and Chef Fran did an awesome job of accommodating everyone's schedule, likes and dislikes. Nora and Christine, the nurses went the extra mile to keep my husband comfortable and me informed. The staff was always pleasant and I can tell they really liked their job. The resources they offered were very helpful. I truly appreciate all they have done to care for my husband and I during the most difficult time in my life and would recommend giving them a try.

Rittenhouse Village at Floral Vale is different than the other memory care facilities we toured. Its more like home than an institution. We entered into a charming courtyard setting where residents could sit, eat, talk and relax. The building has plenty of windows for natural light. I really liked the accessible outdoor areas which residents could freely go in and out. I liked the fact that the bathrooms were designed in a safer way than other places. Even more impressive was the staff. We saw good camaraderie and a genuine sense of caring. From top to bottom they seemed dedicated to providing the best quality of life possible. The food even smelled great. If our family chooses Pennsylvania instead of New Jersey, Rittenhouse Village will be our choice.

I have had two family members live in memory care communities during my life thus far and have spent many years in healthcare. It is one of the reasons I am so passionate about my work at The Rittenhouse Village at Floral Vale. Our healthcare industry and personal care industry is often full of more complaints than thank yous. Thus, it is always a humbling experience when The Rittenhouse Village staff gets letters of gratitude or pats on the back from the many family members who used to take care of their loved ones on their own but realized it was getting to be too much so they trusted their family members to us. When these grateful family members express such heartfelt gratitude to the many staff members they see lovingly and competently caring for their family members, it reminds us that people really see the good work we do. That means so much to us because healthcare often seems to generate more complaints than thank yous,. Each time someone visits The Rittenhouse Village at Floral Vale, I hope they get to meet at least one of these grateful family members. Thank you google for the opportunity to share my experiences working at The Rittenhouse Village at Floral Vales one of a kind, memory care community.

I have been going to Rittenhouse Village for a few years now to entertain and do Chair Zumba classes with the residents. It has always been a pleasure to walk into a clean, well maintained facility and find residents that are happy and well adjusted. The staff is always attentive and very caring with the residents. I am especially impressed with the care given to the memory care residents. They are always in good spirits, active and well cared for by the staff. If you are considering Rittenhouse Village for your loved one, I can highly recommend them without reservation.

My mother has been a resident in this facility for a long time. I have to say that since the new management team has taken over I have seen a huge improvement in the building, staff, food, and care. Not that it was ever bad, but if it was possible for it to be even better, it is! Their food is always delicious and looks so appetizing. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and attentive. This building has a Disney world entrance, you almost cannot believe the beautiful murals all over the walls in the front and in the room by the nurses office. I never doubt that my mother is in great hands, safe, and loved. Her caregivers have developed a special bond with her. I could not have made a better choice.

My parents ,Karl and Arlene (and pups,Emmy and Spike)have been at Rittenhouse Village for over a month( move in day was March 23 ). It was quite a change coming from their 4 bedroom house and we all werent sure how it would go...But since our 1st tour with my mom ... we had such a good feeling when we left ... that we wanted to do everything we could to make it a reality... Doug, Becky ,Freddy to mention just a few have really made this emotional transition so much easier... we knew every day being at their house was a potential safety issue with the steps and it was hard knowing they needed more assistance then we wanted to admit .. Rittenhouse worked with us and gave us the information we all needed to make it happen. The community is beautiful and I tell my parents that they are living at a country club... and of course they deserve it!!! Thanks to everyone for all you do! We appreciate knowing my parents are safe and happy!
