I recently assisted my parents relocation to PA and they selected Country Meadows. We ended up needing some SNF help and every staff member in Allentown and Bethlehem communities went above and beyond to help us with the transition. All were extremely professional and truly compassionate. I cannot say enough accolades about this company. Thank you Angela, Kate, Stephanie, Carmen and Eileen!

I can’t say enough about the positive work environment that Country Meadows provides! It has been such a pleasurable experience being part of family owned company that places such a high priority on their coworkers’ job satisfaction. I came from the restaurant industry where you sometimes just feel like a number, but everyone at Country Meadows from the top down has been so friendly and welcoming that I wish I would’ve started here years ago. Kudos to Leader family for figuring out that the key to providing a great resident experience is to take very good care of their employees.

Kathy Cox and Linda Ramich did an amazing job helping and welcoming my Mom to Country Meadows in Wyomissing. They were wonderful to work with, answered my many questions and alivated my concerns having my Mom move from her home into a new community. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my Mom is feeling at home. Everyone has been welcoming, kind, compassionate, and helpful. They have checked on her, made sure she has felt welcomed and have met her needs better than I could have imagined. The medical personnel are top notch and on top of her medical concerns. Joseph took time to come and hang pictures, set up a shelf I was struggling with and put a cat shelf up for her cats. As soon as he finished she said, "I'm home". Everyone we have met and worked with have been wonderful. My Mom loves the activities and says everyone is so helpful and kind. There is always someone who is willing to help whether it's getting a trolly so I can transport her things to her room, or someone to escort her to her meals. You have an amazing staff at Country Meadows. I am so glad we found the best place for Mom to enjoy the rest of her life. Thank you for hiring such amazing people to make other people's lives so great.

This is one of the best retirement homes around the Reading area. Mom was well cared for when she lived there. My family and I would like to thank everyone who helped to care for her.

My mother lived at the Mechanicsburg Country Meadows for about a year and half in their Pathways program. They promised me that they could provide the level of care that would keep her out of a nursing home and they kept their promise. They took wonderful care of her and let her stay there as she declined and required hospice care. She died a very peaceful death there at the age of 94. The aides gathered around her bed after she passed to pay their respects and say goodbye to her. It was very moving. The staff was also very supportive of the family in her final days. They really cared about her. I’ll always be grateful for her care there.

I have been working at Country Meadows in Wyomissing for 3 months. I absolutely love it there. This is truly a family work environment where everyone works together as a team. Every co-worker Ive encountered has always been pleasant, helpful, and have a great work ethic from dining to the director. I would highly recommend, if you see an opening posted for a job at Country Meadows to check it out. I dont think you would be disappointed.

Excellent care, excellent staff, excellent facility! I cannot say enough good things about Country Meadows in Wyomissing, PA. My husband and I have an elderly relative that needed extensive therapy after a severe illness, and going home was not an option. A friend recommended Country Meadows for their 60 day program, and we checked it out. We got an appointment to visit the facility the same day that we called. We were greeted warmly, given all of the information we needed, got a tour of the living quarters, and were able to ask a lot of questions. The apartments there are lovely. There are options for a studio or a one bedroom. The difference in price was negligible, and we wanted our relative to feel more like she was at home, so we chose the one bedroom. The apartments are spacious and have a lot of light. Because we were doing this on a temporary basis, we asked for a furnished apartment, and Country Meadows accommodated us. When we saw the apartment, it was set up very comfortably. There was a small dining table and chairs, two easy chairs. end tables, a desk with a chair, a double bed, dresser, and a night table. There is also plenty of closet space. The apartments all have a small sink, refrigerator, and microwave, and some cabinet space. All we needed to bring was her TV and a phone. It really made it much easier on us. Permanent residents can bring whatever furniture and decorations they would like. Once our relative arrived, she was greeted warmly, given a gift basket, and given a tour of the facility. She was made to feel welcomed and at home. Throughout her stay, everyone has been kind, considerate, and helpful. If anything was needed, or if we had any concerns at all, they were addressed in a timely manner. We never needed to bring anything up twice. The response time was quick. Throughout the pandemic, the staff at Country Meadows has gone above and beyond to insure the safety, health, and well-being of the residents. Families received frequent communication and updates about visitation policies and safety protocols. It was difficult on everyone, but the results speak for themselves. Our relative tells us all the time how good the food is, and how quickly any issues are resolved. Ive seen the weekly menus, and there is something for everyone, even those with special diets. The variety is amazing. The chef and the staff have made it a point to listen to the residents and address their concerns and issues. There are plenty of activities to fit almost every interest. The grounds are lovely as well, and when the weather is nice, lots of residents are sitting out, walking, and enjoying the day. One thing that has been a godsend for us is that Country Meadows provides transport to medical appointments. Our relative loves that convenience, as she has had to have a lot of follow up care. She compliments the drivers to us all of the time. Scheduling is easy, for both the resident or the family. The therapy staff deserves a special shout out. They worked with our relative really well to help her recovery. I can honestly say that if it werent for the awesome therapy team, our relative would not be where she is today! In fact, they have become good friends, and our relative looks forward to working with them, and will likely miss they when shes ready to go home. The nursing staff is amazing. No need, no concern is too small. They make certain that every need is addressed and every question answered. I never feel like Im rushed when I call or speak to anyone. They give you the time you need to ask questions, and make sure you get the information you need. As to the common areas, they are amazingly clean and well-kept, and are comfortable and welcoming. Im not sure about other campuses, but the Wyomissing campus is pet friendly. If a resident is capable of caring for a small pet, the pet is welcome. I think thats an awesome benefit. Were glad we chose Country Meadows, and would do so again!

I recently helped my Mom make a big transitional move to Country Meadows from out of state, so she could be closer to me. Preparing for the move, the staff answered every single question I had (and more). It is apparent that it is a well run facility that cares about the residents. I am confident that her life will be enriched as an Independent Living resident. The apartments are well appointed, activities (even during the COVID restrictions) are plentiful, and the food offerings are fabulous.

Our father has been a resident in Connections since December 2019. This was a very emotional and difficult time for our family and placing him an equally difficult decision. The staff at Country Meadows were compassionate, caring and professional during this transition . They offered compassion for our father and all of us. He continues to receive excellent care during a most challenging time. I have recommended Country Meadows to several friends who are in need of a place for their loved one. The entire staff that I have encountered have been nothing but professional and caring and have put my fathers health and well-being first. He is thriving in this supportive environment!

We had the opportunity to celebrate my fathers 100 birthday on February 25th at the Wyomissing location building 1. Our choice was to hold it at Country Meadows due to the logistics of transporting my parents. We were able to plan a surprise party accommodating 24 family members in the club room catered by the dining services staff. It was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the staff very accommodating. A special thank you goes out to Louisa Trumbore for coordinating everything to make the day even more memorable!

My Mother has been a long term resident at Country Meadows and we could not be more pleased with the care she hase received and the cleanliness of the facility. The staff is both professional and personable. Over the years my wife, brother and I have gotten to know some of the staff personally and their interest in the patients is very genuine.

From my initial meeting through to the actual placement of my parents at Country Meadows (CM) from another facility, my impression of the facility and the staff, from the sales and marketing team to the care givers in the Connections Neighbourhood, has been and continues to be positive. All of the CM staff have exhibited a genuine concern in getting my parents settled and doing what was best for them, they worked with our abbreviated timeframe for the relocation, accommodated my needs ahead of my return overseas, and throughout the journey I never felt that I walked alone.

Parents, how can we ever do enough for them as they age out of their homes?! Its never an easy decision, as we want our parents to be safe and secure in their new environment. I cant speak highly enough about Country Meadows Retirement Communities. It was a place that we immediately liked after taking a tour, so much that my parents made their decision that day! Then the pandemic happened and I have worried about my parents so much, as theyre in an area where it can spread swiftly! I cant speak highly enough about the staff as they have stepped up to fill in where the families cant. They have been working harder, under stressful conditions in order to genuinely care for the residents as if they were their own family members. I miss my face-to-face visits with my parents, but I feel secure knowing that theyre protected and in a safe environment. I feel at peace knowing that theyre in great hands and I cant thank the staff enough for going above and beyond for the residents. Too often we forget to share the good stories and they need to be told! I give Country Meadows a 5 star rating! ❤

Country Meadows of Wyomissing was the best experience I could have asked for, let me explain. Late March of 2012, my journey of taking care of my grandparents began, my grandparents had reached a part of their life that they no longer could live at home. My grandmother was in need of care that my grandfather could no longer provide on his own, she was in the beginning stages of Alzheimers and he was dealing with Parkinsons. Not really knowing what I was doing, I had heard from friends and neighbors that Country Meadows of Wyomissing was a great retirement community. So, I checked it out and it seemed to meet our needs with different units for different levels of care, while still giving my grandparents the ability to be together. So, we met with a welcoming team at Country Meadows of Wyomissing and they were wonderful, explained everything thoroughly so we would all understand. Two weeks later my grandparents moved in, my grandmother was placed in the Connections Unit (Memory Care), while my grandfather was place right upstairs where he had the ability to come see and spend time with my grandmother day and night. They were able to have meals together and spend the day watching tv or interacting in planned events. Unfortunately, my grandmothers stay didnt last long, her Alzheimers took a turn for the worst and she needed more intense care. This is where our journey with Country Meadows of Wyomissing began to just feel like family. The employees and staff had won me over. They knew that I was about 27 year old and living 60 miles away and taking care of a lot, and they step right in to help. One of our challenges was finding a way to have my grandparents still see each other. But that wasnt a problem for Country Meadows, they told me about a car service which would take him every day or every other day to Berks Heim where my grandmother resided. This was huge, this made my grandfather very happy which made me very happy. They welcomed our family with open arms, let us have meals with grandfather, interact in activities and they would even call me with updates. Unfortunately, my grandfathers Parkinsons worsened within a year or so, but again Country Meadows step right on up and we just changed his room down to the Connections Unit where he continued to be safe and happy. They even kept taking him to see my grandmother just a little less frequent, due to his condition. It was so nice to have everyone on board and helping me take care of everything from a far. My grandfather was a resident for 3 – 4 years, I dont think we could have done it without the help from the Country Meadows of Wyomissing team. They showed my family how important our loved ones were and took care of them for us when we couldnt. They treat residents and their families with respect and genuine care. Thank you to all staff members that helped take such good care of Bernie Roth Sr, he is in heaven now, but I know you all made the years he spent at Country Meadows of Wyomissing the best! I truly appreciate everything that was done for me and my family!

My experience at Country Meadows has been nothing other than positive. As a frequent visitor to the campus, I have always been greeted pleasantly by staff and management, and I can say that the company seems to truly cares about its residents and coworkers. The residents at Country Meadows are well cared for and have the opportunity to participate in daily activities, including fun trips off campus and meals out. The nursing staff is always available to address medical needs, and staff is generally compassionate and friendly. Country Meadows is an A+ facility that succeeds at providing a great quality of life for seniors in the Wyomissing area!

My mother has resided in the Connections Unit (Memory Care) for the past three years. This facility and employees have won my respect in how they conduct the daily routines and care for their residents. They provide a wide range of activities for their residents. They encourage everyone to participate but it is not mandatory. The staff study each resident and learn what motivates them so most residents do participate. For example, they know that they only have to sing to my mother and then she is cooperative and productive. The residents are always treated with respect no matter their mental state. Also, they care for the families of the residents. We are welcomed to any activity or mealtime. They will even have my mother ready if I'm picking her up for an appointment! They care for the family in that they walk us through the stages of my mom's mental status. My mother frequently mentions that "they take such good care of me." Thank you to all the staff of the Connections Unit! I would highly recommend this assisted living facility!

I am very happy at Country Meadows! I came to CM 5 years ago after being at a job for 15+ years. I have been shown more respect and appreciation in the five years here than my prior job for over 15 years. I am thrilled to be a part of such a fantastic group of people, from my coworkers to Home Office. I absolutely love coming to work everyday Thank you CM!!

Income could be better, for the work-load. But it is rewarding. I must say, after reading that horribly negative comment about CM Residents being treated like 'Cattle'. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I hadn't posted my own review regarding the treatment of CM Residents. I work at CM Wyomissing. I interact with roughly 50/70 Residents throughout my daily shift. These residents are happy, full of life & laughs & engaging. Not to mention, the interaction with some of the PCA's/Housekeeping Staff with Residents is like one would care for his or her own family member. Also, 3 years ago I had witnessed a wedding ceremony of a CM co-worker in Building 2's main lobby. With Residents in attendance, & a reception in the main dining room. It was a wonderful day. The co-worker was so excited to see certain residents that she cried & hugged each & every one of them, thanking them for attending. They mean something to her & she means something to them. I make every day my mission to make smiles & to listen to what my residents have to say. They have their dignity are respected & are made to feel important Every Day. All the way to the very selections They Choose for their daily meals. I care for my Residents & I've seen how other co-workers care & go extra miles for our Residents. & I have also watched bad co-workers loose their employment at this facility. & that makes me feel like we're really making a difference in the lives of Every CM Resident. There is a standard, that other co-workers expect, & if it is not met, you will soon be looking for another job. I can go on, But I hope this review helps any future possible Residents to CM Wyomissing. I still work here. & I'll be sure to give you & yours a nod & a smile. & No, Lance Tippman is not my real name.lol
