My husband and I would like to express how pleased we are with the care my mother received during the seven years she resided at Walden III. The staff is dedicated and friendly. They were very caring and patient with her, especially as her health declined. The facility made us aware of services that could be performed on site as well as programs that could make my mother’s stay more comfortable. They always decorate for holidays and have activities for the residents. We especially like that each resident has their own room which includes a bathroom, no sharing. We would highly recommend Walden III to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for a loved one. They will be well cared for.

Walden 3 is synonymous with home. The layout of the building reminds me of a house, rather than a faciltiy. The private rooms are cozy, complete with crocheted throws. There is always a place tucked away in the corner for families to spend time with their loved ones. My mom has been there for 15 months and she loves sitting on the porch chatting with the ladies. She enjoys the big breakfasts. hot meal midday, and light supper. It is how she ate when she was at home. Dr. Cesanek is very responsive and doesn't believe in polypharmacy. The staff take time to talk to my mom and I can tell that she has a place in their hearts. I can't say enough about how caring and patient the staff are. And this all comes together under the administrator, Donna Reed. She is accessible and always knows what is happening with the residents, which are more like her family. And her actions are swift when something needs to be addressed. I could not recommend this place more.

With the challenges of aging parents, Walden III has come through for my family. From the moment we set foot in the facility we were impressed by how active the building and its staff is. We were greeted with the utmost respect and courtesy. On the tour, we were impressed by how polite and accommodating everyone was. All of our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. We felt an overwhelming sense of home and belonging right from the start. We observed activities going on by instructors who really seems to care about the residents they were engaging with. We are in the process of securing a room for my mother now and we could not be happier or feel more secure about our decision to go with Walden III. Special thanks to Donna for all you have assisted us with. We look forward to our time with you all.

Walden III has a very friendly, caring & helpful staff in a home like environment. A maintenance man on site, a resident cat, home cooked meals, and weekly Dr. visits from Dr. Cesanek.

I had a family member who was a recent resident at Walden III. This place has a welcoming staff, they are very kind and helpful. The apartments are very spacious. She had enough room for everything she needed. She had a great view out of her window and easy access to the outside to enjoy some fresh air. The facilities have comfy sitting areas for their residents and family members to sit and chat. The dining area is a pleasant place to sit, and the kitchen staff is very accommodating to their residents. They have invited us to stay and eat on many occasions. I would recommend this establishment if you're considering a place for your loved one to reside.

My mother has lived here since 2017. It was difficult to leave her home but she adjusted quickly because she still felt "at home". The staff has always felt like extended family which my brother and I have appreciated since we both live out of state. I would definitely say my mother is very content living at Walden lll.

Finding somewhere safe for my mom was difficult especially since we were moving her from out of state so she could be closer to me. She is recovering from a fall where she fractured her pelvis, when she first entered Walden III in July 2022 she could hardly walk to the bathroom (with the use of a walker) and she never left her room, now 30 days later she walking down the hall (with her walker) and even going outside and enjoying the facilities activities. I can not thank Walden III staff and the PT staff for helping my mom get her independence back.

My 95 year old mother lost her husband four years ago and could no longer live alone. She was depressed and not eating properly and could no longer keep up with the housekeeping. We began our search of assisted living facilities in the Lehigh Valley and after an exhausting search we found a beautiful gem beneath the Blue Mountain called Walden III. She has been a resident at Walden for three years now and both my mother and I are very pleased with the care she receives there. She really likes the friendly and caring staff at Walden. She raves all the time about the food! She also loves her private room and the activities that are offered almost daily. Their in-house hair salon is a big plus also. The best part is there are no stairs or elevator for her to deal with. Donna and her staff are very responsive and caring. We are so pleased with the care she receives at Walden III. Thank you Donna and Staff!

My grandmother and aunt have been there for over a year now. I also work as a grounds keeper for this past summer. The staff is so nice and warm. They provide a wonderful space for loved ones to live. As hard as it is to leave when it's time to go home, the staff there make it a little easier cause we know they are in good hands.

Walden has created a lovely environment for my aunt. The loving staff has been patient and attentive to her every need, day and night. I'm extremely grateful.

When my mother in law moved in we were very happy to know she was more motivated and involved in activities and eating wonderful meals. No more worries of her living alone. A great peace of mind. Donna was also amazing keeping us updated and answered any questions or concerns while my MIL lived there over the years. Very happy.

My mother moved to Walden shortly after my father passed away 7 years ago. The staff has been remarkable and extremely compassionate. My siblings and I could never have given her the level of care she's received from her Walden family. I am still amazed that during the height of Covid they were able to keep all the residents safe with not a single one contracting it. It was a difficult time for everyone not being able to visit their loved ones but they did it right. I still remember the little parade they had for the residents sitting outside while the family members drove through the parking lot with banners of their names and all we could do was wave to our loved ones as we passed by in the car. They go above and beyond in the care they give. The kitchen staff, housekeeping, and all the medical staff who take care of her are wonderful. In 7 years, I have not had a single complaint. Whatever we ask of them, it gets done.

My Mom & my Aunt live at Walden111. The staff could not be any kinder, attentive & professional thus making it a very homey atmosphere. Everyone is treated like family as well as the guest. The Facility is well-maintained indoors and out. There are many areas inside and outside the facility to sit and enjoy your family visits. I Recommend Walden111 very highly, take a tour and see for yourselves, you'll be impressed with the family feel and the down home comforts! Cindy Middleton, daughter of a resident. Ps. Thank you Walden111 for being so caring to my Mother and Aunt

After living at Walden III for over 7 years I can attest to the personal care, special to each person here. Activities are varied and excellent. The food is very good with special needs as well as regular meals presented with eye appeal. Of course, there are always ways to improve the surroundings which is ongoing. All in all I would not to hesitate to reccomend this facility as a very good one.

After reviewing several facilities, we decided on Walden III. It's been a short time for my Mom, however, she was given a warm welcome by Donna R. and the team. All staff members show care, comfort and kindness to the residents. No task is too small! The family picnic and musical/birthday celebration was awesome and made my Mom feel special. I am grateful to the Walden III team and highly recommend them!

We had a family member at Walden for seven years. He was difficult to place and the Staff welcomed him with open arms. The facility was always neat and clean. Plenty of activities. Staff fun and friendly! If your loved one has special needs, they will work with you to make Assisted Living a safe and acceptable option. I highly recommend!

My mother has been living at Walden for about 6 months. I placed her at Walden because of several reasons. We had already placed my wife's mother there about 2 years ago and she lives in an independent apartment. I approached Donna, the administrator, about my mom and she took me on a tour of the main facility and several independent apartments. Donna helped me with all the transition necessities and made it pretty easy to get my mom into Walden, including a hospital visit where she introduced herself and got to know my mom and her level of care need and more importantly easing some of the tension that my mom was feeling with all of the changes occurring in her life. Initially my mother lived in a 2 level townhouse apartment which she loved having had to downsize from a 3000 sf home. Then about 2 months ago an opening occurred within the main building and she moved into an apartment there. Now she has 24 hour supervision, her medications are given to her and she eats her meals with other people providing a great social atmosphere. She has advancing dementia and inside she gets the cuing and supervision she needs yet has the independence to come and go from her apartment. We had the usual initial hurdles with her resisting the move from "my beautiful home" but are now at "I am glad we did this. The people here are so nice here and the food is really good." My wife and I have the added advantage of having "the moms" at one location and they being only 1 year apart in age get along great and have a lot of laughs together. And mom is making friends with other residents. My wife and I have always been amazed by her mother's 1 bedroom independent apartment. It has a great setup with a washer/dryer and nice U shared kitchen and most everything is included in 1 price which makes it easy to manage on the financial side. The staff bring her meals to the apartment daily. When we took the initial tour for her mom and saw the apartment I told her(my wife) "Damn I could live here" and she responded "right?"
