The staff was super helpful getting mom into the facility and accommodating her needs. The property does not have a nursing home atmosphere. We chose the facility due to the cleanliness. My mom stated that dining there is like going to a restaurant they wait on you like fine dining.

We have been involved with Hawthorne Woods for a short time. The management is very welcoming and readily available to communicate about the care of the residents. The caregivers are very attentive to the residents and their family members. There are a good amount of activities for the residents to socially engage in. Overall, it is a very inviting community!

Hawthorne is turning things around! Joe and Chris are relatively new to the community, but they have had years of experience in the field. They are both very compassionate and understanding of your needs and will insure your family member is taken care of at Hawthorne Woods.

I recently started working with Hawthorne Woods. The activities director is amazing and she welcomes me in to do activities with the residents! Not only is it a clean facility but the staff are so caring and friendly! It's so nice that patients can receive all levels of care at Hawthorne Woods including physicians being able to round here. The facility has a home-like environment and the patients appreciate it.

Hawthorne Woods has undergone a transformation recently! It is quite evident upon entering... There is a new management staff and lots of new faces. The staff truly cares about the residents. The apartments are safe, clean, and spacious which allows for custom decorating. There is a nurse on site and a medical Doctor who rounds weekly so that the residents don't have to leave home for medical care.

Extremely short staffed so those that are there are overworked (although dedicated). Meals not at all appropriate for diabetics. Halls smell terrible. Residents not getting services included in their contract. This place needs help soon before doors are closed.

Upon entering Hawthorne Woods the first time I was struck with an automatic feeling of warmth, of walking into a home. One of the residents greeted me and pointed me towards a staff member who was obviously quite busy, but upon seeing me took the time to smile, introduce herself, and make sure I was able to connect with the building's social worker. This experience epitomizes the experience that my family and I have had in our two, going on three years at Hawthorne Woods. As we know there is a great number of issues that healthcare facilities have faced over the past few years and those have not gone away. Hawthorne Woods has faced each of these challenges with grace and strength. No matter what the challenge, the community has come together to make sure that the residents needs are met, but also to make sure each individual knows they are cared for and feel at home. My grandmother entered Hawthorne Woods in Sept of 2021 when staying at home in the country alone was no longer an option. She was encouraged to and was able to maintain a level of independence and choice that is simply not possible at most assisted living locations. As her needs changed, Hawthorne adapted with her, responsive to changes and supportive of the family. My grandmother passed October of 2022, and Hawthorne Woods, both the staff and residents, were by her and my side supporting us every step of the way. My Mother struggles with anticipated early-onset Dementia and it was important to both of us that she have the ability to choose a place where she would be comfortable while she still is able to consciously do so. A year ago my Mother asked me if when appropriate, if she could give Hawthorne Woods a trial run. In September when my Grandmother was decompensating quickly, the Administrative Staff saw that I was struggling to be there with my Grandmother and meet my Mother's needs as well. The staff of Hawthorne Woods offered respite for my Mother to help us as a family stay together. My Mother considered the respite her trial run and has enjoyed the environment so much that she has now committed to living at Hawthorne Woods part-time and is comfortable living there full time when her needs change. Hawthorne Woods is a community with a heart of gold and a set up that allows individuals to age in place in a social setting. I will be forever grateful to Hawthorne Woods who has truly become part of my extended family and has been and is there for me and my family through our journey.

This is a wonderful home-like community with staff who care. Care is tailored to each particular residents needs, and I have seen the same staff faces over the years. Families have been very pleased with care, and I continue to recommended Hawthorne Woods when given the opportunity.

I have worked with Hawthorne Woods since they opened in Washington. I've recommended this community for elderly persons living in their homes that need a little more assistance. Most people wish they would have moved in sooner! They enjoy the activies, the attention, the meals in the dining room, and the freedom that it gives their families. Families know that their loved one is being cared for in a safe environment. With excellent doctors on site, they never have to go out for medical care. Beautifully maintained environment and caring staff.

I have worked here for over two years and have seen all of the caregivers and management staff go out of their way to make sure the residents are taken care of. It is a great place to work and I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to work here. The residents are like family to all of us that work here. We try our best day in and day out to make a difference in their lives. We all love our residents. It is a great place!

Hawthorne Woods is a wonderful Assisted Living Community. They refer to the building as a "community" rather than a patient type relationship. All of their caregivers care deeply for the residents and this extends into the managerial staff as well. They have a fantastic Activities Coordinator and it shows through their community Facebook page, which is open to everyone. I encourage you to check it out if you're interested in placing a loved one into the community of Hawthorne Woods. Their weekly activity calendar is posted as well as pictures of community members and highlights from the day.

I have several friends that live at this facility. They are all happy and well cared for. I would recommend the folks who run this Community. They try hard and care deeply. They explained to me the challenges of finding caregivers right now and that's understandable. The basics get done and that's a lot better than a lot of other places.

I have a family member that needs assisted living and has been a resident for almost 2 years. The staff monitors and attends to daily needs regularly Surprisingly, the managers know each other and the residents on a first name basis, not something routinely found in today's climate. They respect their residents and treat them accordingly, keep that in mind when making a decision for your loved one(s).
