The Gardens of Green Ridge is dedicated to providing complete living and care solutions for seniors. We are right in Scranton, close to local attractions, and other events and activities. Residents also have choices when it comes to local medical centers, physicians, and pharmacies.

I wish there was a way to give more Stars !!! i cant say enough about the care my dad receives at this facility. He resides in the memory care unit and initially had a very hard time adjusting, Roxanne gave me her cell number to call her anytime i needed to check on him or even just to ask questions. She actually went out of her way and managed to get my dad to agree to a shower, which he hadnt had in sometime. That was one of my big concerns with his care , he often refuses and becomes uncooperative. Roxanne really put me at ease, she answered my questions and concerns all hours of the day and night. Diane was also a great help in the transisition, she gave me daily updates on my dads progress. I am happy to say my dad is now settled in and receiving the best care possible. I was very apprehensive about placing my dad in any facility, you often hear nightmare stories. I can tell you i am complelty comfortable with him here and will and have recomended it to others.

Ive worked at the Gardens of Green Ridge for over five years now. Its a great place to work and Im happy to be there. Its one of the nicest facilities in the area. We have a great administrator, nursing director and staff. We have pot luck lunches. One of our med techs cooks on the grill for us every so often. We do our job and still have fun. We are all trying to do the best we can to take care of all of our residents during this pandemic, especially our boss.

I have worked in this building alone for over 6 years and have been in 2 other building working, i love working for saber. Yes we have had our ups and downs through the years with different administrators but by far our new administrator jennifer is the best one for this building,she goes above and beyond, since she has been here the buiding has ran so much better she is for the residents and for her employees... She even went and spent her own money to make the building more inviting and truly cares and does an outstanding job. She listens to any problems we might have and she will be the first to help out, there has been numerous times I or a few of us would be taking care of someone sick or on hospice and she without even asking would jump in and assist with caring for residents. There was several days the cook needed days off and jen without hesitation covered all of his shifts to make sure the building ran smooth. Our building is always cleaned and ready for anything that comes our way. And for the most part we have a great set of workers that work here everyone gets along great, you know what they say 1 bad apple spoils a tree, well thats true for here and for probably other places, I would not change my job for anyone or anything I WILL be here for the long hall. I am finally in a job where I have bosses that care and would do anything for anyone. Diane our director of nursing is the best nurse I have ever worked for she is sweet and kind and willing to help anyone, I dont know how many times I had asked for her help and without fail she would stop what she is doing and come and help, she is always ready to teach us new things and a great asset to this company, I cant say enough great things about her . Through this whole time with the cornoa virus Jenn and Diane have been working day and sometimes night to get 1 wing in our building is all set up and ready if we had any covid cases which we dont have any . It is set up in sections with everything we need to protect ourself and the residents. I am so grateful to work for a company that hired jen and diane to run this building, this is what it needed and finally we can move forward and have an excellent running building.

Best place to bring your family members. it is a clean facility open 24 hrs a day. You can come at anytime to visit your family members. Best staff. Always available to talk anytime. one of the best places to send your family member.

I have worked here for almost two years as a part time receptionist, prior to my retirement I was registered nurse, this facility is great, wonderful staff, great administration and the residents are happy. The facility is always clean and never smells. I have worked in many facilities in my 40 year career and if I had a family member who needed assisted living this would be my choice, people have to realize, no place is better than home but the gardens is the next best thing!!

I was invited to DJ at their Facility for the Alzheimers Walk and also for their Christmas Party for the Patients on both occasions the Patients were so welcoming and happy. The Staff treat each patient as if they were own family member. I cant say enough good things about this facility for the staff and all their patients!!

This is the first assisted living Ive been to where it smells wonderful and is really clean. Residents are in a home-like environment and they have every right to live comfortably. They have complementary items and snacks available 24-7 just in case Residents are hungry after regular dining-meal times. Everybody thats staff plays a role of many to reassure that no matter what conditions-problems are presented, there is always someone there to assist.

My father Jerome Occulto is a resident there and has been for the last several years. I would like to commend Roxanne the Administrator for her hard work and dedication to her job. I along with my husband visit my Dad every day and we see first hand the effort she puts forth in running the facility. What impresses us also is her commitment to her residents. There have been many occasions when she helps in the kitchen, takes residents back to their rooms, helps assist them in any way she can. She is definitely a hands on executive. If my Dad or we have any questions she always makes time to listen and address the situation. My name is Mary Ann Coviello and my husband Frank and I would just like to say having Roxanne there always makes us feel comfortable and confident that the facility is running smoothly.

Fabulous facility would not put my loved one anywhere else! I have worked with both the AL and MC, even the office personnel help with taking care of the residents doing things from folding laundry to making beds to cleaning rooms helping in dining room etc. I would recommend this facility 110%.

What a clean facility ! Staff greeted us on our tour with a smile, very informative and helpful. Provided excellent literature with resources. Like the spacious hallways ! I am comfortable bringing my mom to this facility, and will be bringing her there once finances are in order.

Took a tour, very apprehensive at first in making a decision, however we were impressed with the atmosphere, clean, staff was very understanding, explained everything thoroughly, and the facility was updated and vibrant.

staff was extremely helpful and friendly; made the transition not only easy for my mother but for myself and my family as well. we go to visit every weekend and are thrilled with the care and quality of life gardens continues to provide her. she is always participating in tons of activities and socializing with other residents. everything has changed for us and for her since she has moved in and we couldn't be more thrilled with our decision

We toured The Gardens of Green Ridge. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a clean and well-kept community. It reminded me too much of a nursing home, and my loved one needed a more lively environment.
