I wrote one review but can't find it. I was able to contract with Caregivers for care for my mom about 4 hours a day. The first caregiver was just awful. She could not perform the simplest task. She complained about her shoulders and just plain did not do what we asked her to do. She spend 30 minutes just figuring out how to clock in and out until my dad yelled at her and told her to do it on her own time. For $25/hour I don't blame him. We fired her and they sent a second caregiver. She was better but not reliable. She called in 3 days out of 6 with car troubles. The company does not offer replacement caregivers in these cases. We fired the company. With the exception of Dena at the call center, who was wonderful, we are entirely displeased with the services. I pity the folks who are desperately in need of the caregiver being there and then they just don't show up. That is not service. Sadly I would say look elsewhere for care. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of Dena. She's a gem.

I was an CNA for 13 yrs in Ithaca NY, decided to come to the VALLEY to work as an Home Health Aide through Caregivers America. Currently I have been with them for 6yrs and counting. I enjoy the one on one with the elderly. It's a rewarding career on helping the elderly in their home, especially when you see progress being made in their life. And for the ladies working in the office, they hire people and give them an opportunity to have a job without discriminating against anyone. It may or may not work out, but they treat everyone equal and everyone has a chance to prove themselves. I enjoy being a part of this TEAM.

I started in July 2019, I dont have anything bad to say and I like everyone a lot!! Dina is one of the best managers I have ever worked for, very kind and understanding. The rest of the ladies in the office are pretty great too! I feel very much at home and plan to continue with them as long as they will have me!!! Oh and my clients are pretty wonderful as well! Im close in my own way to each and all of them :).

As a past employee for Caregivers I felt as the job was refreshing and it helped me to learn how to be a better person. The office staff members are very polite and respectful with flexible hours. I really enjoyed working with the clients that I was assigned to. I got to learn about them and spend some important quality time with them. I definitely recommend this job to those who enjoy learning and spending time with those who need it.

Really I hear they scream at there workers .And I have heard this from women I have worked with for years. I think they should go right to corporate with they way they get treated there.
