My stay at Manor at Market Square was excellent. You were able to be independent while given exceptional care and service when, or if, needed. From Housekeeping, Laundry facilities, Nursing, Nursing aides, Dietary, Management, Receptionist, Maintenance, Transportation, Business Office, Activities (and forgive me if I forgot anything), all went over and beyond to be of assistance to you. The biggest mistake was me leaving there.

My father resided here for about 1 year before he died. I was a bit weary of the downtown location, but the building is very secure and safe. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Mary in management and Sharon in food services. My father mentioned he enjoyed the meals. The heat and air conditioning can be individually controlled for each resident's comfort. The small kitchen area in each unit is a nice added feature. The entire staff was very understanding during my father's illness. Thank you for everything.

The caregivers that work here are amazing & their hard work most definitely does not go unnoticed, they deserve so much more than what they receive as well as the residents.

My father has dementia, a very difficult disease to cope with, for both the patient and the caregivers. The Manor at Market Square has been, for the most part, willing to work with our family to navigate through this devastating time. They have recently hired a much needed Memory Care Director, and her dedication is commendable. I am thankful that even through this horrible pandemic, there is some place willing to house, and care for our elderly loved ones because no one in my family has the wherewithal or knowledge required to do the job! Thank you Manor.

Visits to my friend, Pat, was a wonderful care. We had coffee and enjoyed a visit in the lobby - very comfy and cozy. Pat loves it. So nice to see staff caring for residents like family! Pat said she cant go to work out as much because so many activities.

My mom is currently a resident and she loves the place. She has her own room and enjoys the activities. The food is good. They have a bus that takes her to her doctor appointments and trips to Walmart and Boscov.

Placing an elderly parent in any type of senior living facility is the most overwhelming and heartbreaking task that some families face. I was reluctant to consider Manor at Market Square due to location. After looking and calling many senior facilities that were not to my liking or affordable, I was persuaded to look at Manor at Market by a family member who knew many past residents that had nothing but great things to say about it. Well, it was the best decision I could have ever made. Beyond the cleanliness and pleasant environment, the entire staff was (& continues to be) kind, caring and friendly. My mother has dementia and everyone has made her feel welcomed and they have worked with her to adjust to her new home. I would have never thought in a million years that she would participate in the wonderful activities offered! I recently took her out for the day and she could not wait to get ‘home! She all but threw us out the door because she could not wait to socialize in front of the fireplace with the other residents. I am so blessed for everyone and everything the staff has done and continues to do for my mother. I leave there knowing she is well taken care of and loved. 5 stars

Both of my parents reside here. My father has Alzheimers and my mother has extremely poor eye sight. The Manor helps them with everything. The food is delicious. The Manor is secure. The staff is trust worthy and helpful. Removing my parents from their home of over 50 years was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do but The Manor on Market Square has made it a little bit better to bear. Thank you!
