My father had a wonderful experience at Reformed Presbyterian home. His therapists were amazing. They worked diligently with my dad so he was able to walk me down the aisle for my wedding. The nursing staff was very attentive and caring. I couldn't ask for a more supportive and professional staff. I would recommend my love ones to this nursing facility. Thank you all for all your hard work with my dad, he loved it there.

I wasn't going to write a review, mainly because residents and employees of nursing facilities are now being vaccinated, therefore, I don't think what happened to my brother will happen to anyone else, but my assumption could be wrong. I received a call today from the accounting department RPH asking me to contact the PA Medical Assistance office so they can be paid for a portion of time that my brother was a resident there. I understand they want to be paid for the services that my brother received and they should. But the call was just hard to hear today because my brother was exposed to Covid-19 in the facility and died there on 01/18/21. On 01/06/21 I was told that my brother tested positive for Covid-19 after being exposed to it by his roommate. My brother's lungs were already in poor condition because he had COPD yet they allowed him to be in the same space with someone that had been out of the facility for a hospital visit and returned to the same room, with my brother the same day. To me, that was irresponsible on RPH's part to allow someone that was out in the public while there is a virus pandemic going on to be returned to the same room without first being be quarantined. I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now how they could allow that to happen. I have no idea what happened to the roommate or even who he is because of HIPAA, no information about him could be given. I can't prove that my brother died from Covid-19 because there was no autopsy taken and the medical doctor associated with RPH did not include Covid-19 on my brother's death certificate, but I believe that Covid-19 was a factor in his death.
